An Attempt To Bring Back The Grand Old Excelsior-h
An attempt to bring back the grand old Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycle Company from the early 1900's. A truly classic American made motorcycle which is NOT another Harley-Davidson clone. This heavy cruiser was designed and built in Minnesota for the model years of 1999 and 2000. It is it's own original and unique design modeled after the original Excelsior-Henderson Super-X motorcycles
produced between 1925 and 1931. Unlike typical Harley's (except for the new V-Rod) the 1386cc air cooled V-Twin on my Super-X has chain driven dual overhead cams driving 4 valves per cylinder.
It has a bullet-proof lower end employing forged con rods riding side by side on a solid one piece forged crankshaft. It has true sequential multiport fuel injection. Check it out for yourself at http://www.superXowners.com
Wow I never knew. Looks like you like the bike Respect to you my friend and that's from a committed Harley fan. I think it's great when someone takes the time to bring the old names back. Indian, Triumph even Enfield. Sorry to see Indian go so soon although there was a lot of controversy surrounding the use of the Indian name I still wished them good fortune.
