Instant Holidays Co-op Travel UK

Went to book a short break and was treated in a very rude manner . I asked about leaving a deposit as im a college student and can't afford to pay the full amount upfront . The response i got was just humiliating .

very very rude lady . I might not have much money but i do have Manners .... the staff in co op in oldham need to try using them , don't cost a thing .

I have used my local coop travel agent for years for over two holidays a year, travelling to destinations all over the world. The staff were helpful and knowledgable. They all suddenly left, all the replacements left!

The service is now appaulling. I get feeble excuses and broken promises. I went in last week and was promised that they would email me some options nothing was sent I gave them another chance on Monday so had to give them the details again as the manager had cleared off and left no notes. I did get a feeble email response but have now given up as they cannot even bother to respond to my questions. It is not as though they were busy as on both occasions I went into the shop I was the only customer and both employees were just sitting there

They said they were trying to improve and build up the business what a joke

Ordered currency Monday 10am for guaranteed next day delivery. Enforce 1pm.

Fast forward Tuesday 13:10 - no currency.

Phoned and waited 20 mins to be told currency hasn't been dispatched!!!! Can't cancel order as it's 'being processed'

Thanks coop now £500 down and no currency, now have to find another £500 as we go before the post will have arrived in the morning. My foreign currency will now sit in the sorting office for a week before being returned to sender!

Appalling!! Avoid this bunch!!

I booked to go to new york with the coop travel payed 2000 pounds was due to fly Sunday 24 may but sadly my mum passed away so I couldnt go now the coop bridend sed it was 100 percent cancellation but in the next 3 days they rang me twice asking me to write a letter cancelling cause I didnt they cancelled our overnight stay without me doing it I am disgusted with the way ive been treated

Me and my girl booked a 5 night at the callas de Mallorca hotel which is on the east coast.

This supposedly 3 star hotel was a dump to summarise:

Hotel food was terrible we lost weight it was disgusting

Canteen roof leaked when it rained

Loads of Eastern European guests

No iron or tv in rooms

Very loud music from stage area into our balcony/room from 16.00-00.00 every evening

Not clear instructions how to find transfers when we arrived it then took 2 hours from airport to hotel made us travel sick

All inclusive alcohol was all local brewed which made for bad headaches

Lifts regularly broke down, we met some elderly people who had been trapped inside 1

Just not worth the money £400 for the bad experience from start to finish her first abroad holiday real shame

Just booked with co op travel for aug 2014.

Lady named Georgina Howe, friendly & very efficient.

I was only making an enquiry about a holiday, ended up booking it!

Georgina was helpful and not at all pushy. Holiday was booked quickly, e.mail confirmation within half hour.

I don't normally talk to an advisor, just book online.

Very happy with co op travel, would use again.

I recently called into the Co-op travel, Crosby branch as I was having trouble with a Thompson cruise on line booking.(the website would not let me complete the booking) Not only where the staff very helpful with the booking but they even price matched the Thompson web price.All was done in quick time and very efficiently. would highly reccomend

booked a Nile cruise that was advertised in the sun paper the week ending 11 11 2011 went with my family to book it was told all the trips to see the temples were in the a/c for months were told this by the coop and Thompson to Manchester for the flight got to the boat no trips was told to pay 1.000 pounds if we were to go on these trips bad service from both of the travel companys

Instant Holidays Co-op Travel UK Could not have been more helpful or more organised.Value for money was excellent. All arrangements were faultless.

Have had 3 holidays with Instant Holidays all allocation on arrival and never been disappointed ! All good cheap prices! Would recommend them to anyone ! A+++
