Cop Land (18)

Sylvester Stallone is in superb form playing the role of the local sheriff in "Copland." Cop Land is an area across the bridge from New York, where a large proportion of the local residents are New York cops. Stallone's character has always wanted to be a New York Cop but couldn't get in due to a damaged ear which he got as a young boy saving a girl from drowning. So he has had to settle for being the local sheriff where the cops living there are more trouble then the ordinary residents.

"Copland" is the type of movie that would probably appeal only to certain people it's a slow paced thriller, but very enjoyable.

It also features a star studded cast including Harvey Keitel, Robert Deniro, Ray Liotta as well as many others.

Stallone did such a great job he proves that he is more than just an action star.

It's hard to say much more without giving the plot away, so just rent it and have a great few hours in front of the box.
