“Boxes returned smashed, ripped and smelly”

I stored 7 boxes of personal items (clothes, documents, a few electronics and household items) for 10 months. The items were picked up and returned by men without a uniform in unmarked vans. The boxes were returned smashed up, with holes that seemed to have been made by rodents, what looked like rodent droppings and a moldy smell. “Poor service for 3 separate Bristol students”

My daughter and 2 of her friends are all international students at UWE Bristol. All moved out of student accommodation in May 2017, left the UK and will move into different apartments in Bristol in September. All 3 decided to use LoveSpace for summer storage as none had the transportation means required for self-storage. “Very inflexible company!”

Poor experience. They charge full month cost even for a few extra hours of storage!!! And then they ask to stay available for entire day which is very inconvenient! It would be nicer to let customers choose hour slot themselves. And to have flexibility of atleast three days after end of monthly agreement. Plus, Saturday deliveries are 12 GBP per box!… Read Full Review

Hi Lubna,

Thank you for your feedback on the service.

Our current prices are by the month, where a month is paid for up front and then it is up to customer how much of the month they use. We also send an email to all customers 14 days before their plan ends to remind them of the cost of storing for longer.

We always provide our customers with one hour time windows, so they know when to expect the driver. We sent your notification the evening before your pick up, but it sounds like maybe this did not arrive with you for some reason. We're very sorry if this was the case.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We find your feedback to be very valuable and we're constantly working to improve our service.

It seems there were a few issues with your delivery, which of course is not representative of the service we aim to provide.

As part of improving our service we've added extra pieces of communication into our process to ensure all addresses are always correct, as well as the date and any info required for access to your address.

“Lost my suitcase, didn't reply to my emails TERRIBLE...”

I got two suitcases collected from my house. Only one made it with no problems to my other address. The other one was lost and I was not able to return it to myself. So I tried to contact them via emails. They did reply couple of times saying that probably the label fell off and it will take longer to find it and then just disappeared.
