“cheap but unprofessional”

The team that packed and unloaded our 3 bed house was very nice but on top of taking way more time than what was planned -they lost the screws of our dinner table -scratched our dinner table and damaged a desk, the large dining table scratches were notified right awaay to the team leader but be bluntly denied. -they wouldn't collect our garment boxes for which we had paid a deposit because they said they were not in immaculate condition. Then when we made a complaint about the lost screws and the damages on items a supervisor came and put all the blame on us and our builders for not storing our furniture properly while the building works were being finished. They were cheap indeed but i could not expect them to be that unprofessional and dishonest.

Hi,

I write regarding the two reviews that you have recently posted about our Company. As you know, the reviews do not represent the facts of what occurred. As per your threats, this in a bitter attempt to ruin our hard earned Company's reputation and you chose to write an extremely negative review which does not reflect reality.
With regards to the actual facts of what happened: you emailed us almost 3 weeks after the removal service that there was damage done to your furniture. Even though our time limit for claims is of 7 day, we do care about our customers and for this we have agreed straight away to send one of our supervisors to check the premises and assess the damage. What he saw was not something that we expected to see as all the furniture has been moved following the removal service and thrown on top of each other by the men that are working at your property.
All your items were delivered in same condition that have been collected. Every single item was protected during the moving service. On the day of your move your husband was notified of existing damage that was there prior to the removal but he did not seem interested in it. We have photos to prove all the existent damage. We are honest and we do expect honesty from our clients as well. I do understand that you had bad experiences in the past but please do not call us unprofessional as this is not the word that describes our company.

Knowing that your new property was a building site your responsibility was to arrange proper protection for goods left in unoccupied or unattended premises, or where other people such as workmen are, or will be present. All the items were full of dust and hand prints from the handling with no proper protection over them and again photos have been taken to prove this.

On the day you met our supervisor you showed him the wardrobe boxes and you were informed that they will be collected if they will be in a reusable condition. The boxes were torn and under a pile of rubbish bags and building waste that was left outside. This is totally unacceptable as we do not collect boxes that are of no further use. We can not reimburse you for damaged boxes that can only be thrown away.

You have complained that your removal service took too long. Well, aspects like the access at the properties do have an impact on the duration of the service. Our men worked constantly. Having said this, we delivered the service we promised we will do and you have not paid any extra penny.

You initially said that the screws from the bed were also missing. As you are aware, the screws from the bed were on the bed and the supervisor showed them to you when he visited your home. In respect to the screws for the table they were attached with tape on the table but since the furniture has been shifted around they could have very well fallen.

Your reply just proves my point that you not only delivered an unprofessional service and you literally accuse your client of lying and put the responsibility of your carelessness on us.
I must stress again that some of the damages to the furniture -the only one that we could see at the time as indeed it took us a long time to unpack everything- were notified to your team leader at the end of the unloading process and at that time they also denied and said they had been there before. So denial is apparently part of your practices.
Also the missing screws were never taped to our table as we looked for them right away and we still haven t found them. Also a few days after the move a person from your company came to drop off a pack of screws from our kids bed that had been forgotten in the truck which shows that taping them to furniture was consistently part of your procedure.
