The mandate is "be all the more diligent"
and also "confirm your calling and election".
How do we confirm? where can I find that "conformation" that tells me Im saved.... Is there such truth..
Yes there is...It is revealed in sacred cripture and Within the scripture
their is a revelation that is given by grace to the elect that they are truly saved and what Christ did for them has eternal significance and should be understood with a heart of gratitude in awe and beauty. This work was accomplished at calvary, where the elect were bought by the blood of the Lamb of God forever. This was the Lords doing. God does not make mistakes. Once Saved Not always saved ? -- What does that say about God..... grace does not offer salvation and expects a dead man to rise and accept it.....Salvation gives birth to a new heart within the sinner that he may freely come and adore him, for what HE HAS DONE! Whom the Son set free is free indeed! SAVED always SAVED..! because of the power of the BLOOD! its the blood that saved us, that paid the penalty of ur sins, its the blood that appeased the wrath of a holy God and brought peace between the sinner and his maker.
How can we say that Once saved doesn't mean FOREVER saved !..
those who avow to such heresy are enemies of the gospel of justification by grace alone thru faith alone....they need to be schooled again.
such men must be marked and noted that the sheep's of Christ should give heed to their destructive doctrines that brings out a false worship, tainted religion, This is idolatry and births false view of the True God, who does accomplishes that which he has already by the counsel of his will has set in his heart to do. and so to finish that which HE started. .The doctrine of assurance is biblical and the understanding that God does seal his saint till his return is also a holy doctrine, WHICH should be embrace by all those who truly are seeking to live a godly life and walk in the newness of their new life, to the glory of God alone, for HE gifts us the POWER to accomplish the things that pleases him. IF its by his power that I do all things that please him then it is by his poower that I will endure to the end. ONCE SAVED FOREVER SAVED! ---be careful to those who will cause you to stumble and seek to make you defect from the true gospel of grace. rejoice that their is liberty in Christ because of what HE did! TO accomplish a work that the Law could not provide......REJOICE THAT we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ............

Totally agreed. Salvation by works is implied by Mr. Pawson. Mr. Pawson himself said he does not know whether he is saved until Lord Jesus said to him you good and faithful servant. His teaching is direct opposite of the teaching of the book of 1st John, Ephesians chapter 2, the thief who died on the cross beside Lord Jesus, King David committed murder and adultery, Peter who denied the Lord 3 times.

Granted, genuine believers who experience salvation by faith in Jesus should be born again through the Holy Spirit and a desire to love and follow God. Along the sanctification life journey, these believers will experience trials and temptations and even sin against God in moments of weakness. But praise the Lord, when we genuinely repented as we received salvation, the precious blood of Jesus washed away our sins past, present and future. People so called "believers" who abuse such amazing Grace in order to sin freely have never believed and have no salvation from Lord Jesus to begin with. Advocating we work hard to please God and secure our salvation is an insult to God who say we cannot save ourselves but through Jesus' sacrificial death which is a gift ( Ephesians 2:8, 9).
