After applying for a position with Forrest on Indeed and looking to start work asap, I was contacted by the Forrest Recruitment team and asked to start work the next day. This was fantastic as a student looking for temporary work over summer with weekly pay. I am now finishing my 8-week temp position before starting back at university and have nothing but positive praise for Forrest. A major strength of this company is the supportive staff. For example, after each working week, I was emailed with a check-in on how my week had been. This regular communication created an open space and opportunity to raise any concerns if ever needed. The advisor in the Wigan branch was particularly lovely and I greatly appreciate her help these past 8-weeks. I would definitely recommend Forrest Recruitment to others and want to keep in contact with them myself.

I apply for specific positions on indeed then Forrest recruitment feel the need to ring me and ask 1 million irrelevant questions about my cv, they scrutinise applicants and are extremely unprofessional. I would never in my life use this agency, they have never been any use and continue that way by the looks of it, hopeless!

The person I dealt with at the Bolton team works extremely hard on fixing clients up with the correct roles. Even though I haven’t been successful yet she hasn’t given up on me,hopefully my ideal role will come along soon.

I had the unfortunate experience of going through the registration process with this agency. Applied for a temporary job which was suiting to my experience and qualifications.

The girl that interviewed me went through my whole CV for every job from school.

Detailed information from how many people worked there and contact name of person I reported to. This is just trying to get new leads, sales approach to drum up new business for themselves. I was asked personal questions and why I had worked at some of the places. I have a law degree and I was asked why I had done a law degree.

I explained that I was intending to become a solicitor. Still no information about the job I had applied for. The girl then continued to talk about my law degree and asked why I wasn't a solicitor. I explained that I needed to do the LPC course to progress. The girl then lectured me and said you don't do that to become a solicitor. I informed her that this was the vocational stage. The girl didn't know what she was talking about and has no qualifications. She refused to put me forward for the job and refused to put me forward for any long term role because she felt that I wouldn't complete the assignment. I have since received phone calls from them to TOUCH BASE asking me if I have done any work since registering with them and which companies and what agency sent me. They never found me any work .

I was excited when a few days later I was contacted by the agency. The lady who spoke to me was seemed friendly and said that I must book an interview with them. I arrange a date and time to come in to register with them. Attended the office for my meeting i was passed on to someone totally different to who I was booked in with despite the person I was originally booked in with sitting at her desk looking at other work! Very rude I thought. The lady who I had my meeting with didn't seem to know anything about me from my CV. She went over all my work history from leaving school to present which is 20 years ago! Asked me to detail exactly what I did in each job role even though this is what my CV is for. Wrote the same things my CV said and what I went through on another piece of paper. She Didn't have a clue what I was on bout and didn't really seem tht interested in. Asked questions irrelevant to the job and wanted know even single detail of all my jobs Ive had bit full on. More about seeing if I fit in with them as a person than the job I am capable of doing! Asked me lots personal questions and why I didn't consider other options, saying they think a full time role would be too much for me and why things had change from when I left my previous job to now! The worst experience I've had with an agency. They make you do these tests which don't have tht much impact to do with job you are applying for or would show an employer tht these tests prove you can or can't do the job you going for stupid they dont even go over what you have done and them the lady says I can't use excel or word much myself ! Found them to be not friendliest staff and never offer you or a drink or ask you how you are. The worst agency i have ever dealt with!! Made me feel like I wasn't gud enough very nervous anxious.Stay well clear!!. Better agency's out there.x

I interviewed for a job through Forrest recruitment in Warrington, I was not even given the Courtesy of a phone call back for feedback from the interview which I presume I didn’t get. I phoned the agency twice and was promised call backs both times. This did not happen.

I’m truly shocked by their customer service!

I have used this agency twice and both times they have been of no assistance. The second time I used their service I had no choice as a job I had applied for on a job search website was advertised by them. I attended the office and was passed on to someone totally different to who I was booked in with despite the person I was originally booked in with sitting right there at her desk as she thought it was more important to take her dinner (note: do not book someone in at a certain time if your going for dinner!). The person I met with was for temp work only...I was looking for permanent ad previously discussed and she knew nothing within my CV, very unpersonal. I have since attempted to contact the office about a job opportunity I discussed with her at my meeting and have heard nothing back since.

Haven't had anything from this agency, even though I see jobs on their site that I know I am capable of doing. Am registered with 2 other agencies and have contact with them weekly.

Definately would not recommend, there are far more professional agencies out there.

They will not even allow anyone of ethnicity into their building. They reject everyone with an accent at the door. I will be contacting Bolton Council and if you suffered the same treatment please contact the Council.

I have heard from many others and we want a class law suit against the women in the Bolton Branch.
