I registered with Capita recruiting over 12 months ago and phoned and e.mailed several times, but received little response. A few months ago I contacted them again re. vacancies and was told that the key worker that I had been allocated had left and was given another. They said they had my file and details and my crb was still live. Two weeks later I received a phone call asking if I could do another re-assessment and pay £52 for a new crb, as well as provide all my details again as they had not got my details on record any more. When I asked where they were, I was informed that they did not have them on file. This is a major concern and in my view a complete breach of my confidentiality rights. I recently received a text out of the blue from another key worker from Capita, asking if I new of workers in a certain field or whether I was available for work. I responded with an e.mail and got no reply. I then phoned but was told the contact was taking another call and would phone me after they had finished. Needless to say, that call never materialised. I then phoned the contact today and was told the post had gone, although the e.mail stated there were several posts. The contact clearly did not want to discuss anything with myself. As far as I am concerned the whole service is amateurish and they are just after payment for the crb.
