Ordered replacement engine for Land Rover Freelander, agreed on engine to be sent with copy of service history of warranted mileage.
Six days later I phoned them for delivery date and was informed there was a problem with the engine and they would not send faulty goods out. They said they would phone me within 3 days on progress.
Two days later, a half stripped engine turned up and when I phoned them they didn't want to know.

24 7 Spares service is generally very POOR!! Nobody responds to e-mails, and you are left waiting on the phone for 20 minutes, and as it is a premium rate phone number, you end up giving up!! Miserable service!!

I was sent the wrong parts from 24/7 Spares which were also damaged. I was told to send the parts back at my expense (contrary to 24/7 Spares Terms and Conditions). The breaker then continually promised to send the correct part but it never turned up. I was then promised a refund eventually after complaining to 24/7 Spares. This didn't arrive, and it was only after threatening to dispute the charge with the credit card company that a refund was given. However, the postage for returning the incorrect and broken part was never refunded as 24/7 Spares promised, and they now ignore my email.
They are probably fine to use if nothing goes wrong, but if it does they seem to be useless.

Used 24-7 Spares.co.uk several times, never had a problem, received plenty of quotes for parts. Always take the names and numbers of those quoting. Can save yourself a lot of money and time when looking for car parts especially used ones.

I needed a new driver side door mirror and I was quoted £180 from Vauxhall and fitting was extra. I found 24 7 Spares and checked with them, and I got a new wing mirror the next day for £50 inc. delivery. It was a brilliant deal!
I will always check with 24 7 Spares first if there are any motor parts I require.

I was looking for a bumper for my Civic Coupe and was having difficulty locating one from my local scrapyard. Tried others online but nothing. 24 7 Spares claimed to have three. I chose the cheapest and was informed by phone it would be 50 plus 15 for delivery. Two weeks later nothing. Then checking my card I was charged 77 pounds!! I immediately informed my credit card company who chased up the salvagers in Halifax and refunded my money. After a week I requested information about the seller from 247 spares and they ignored ALL my emails (7 in total). Avoid these guys at all costs.

Classicroy's Response to AlanH's Review

I found this review helpful because... I have a going through a similar experience with using this service and I now know of several people who are. I would like to know if trading standards are going to get involved. I was sent a faulty turbo charger and it was clearly damaged before it was sent out. The breakers have admitted this and have promised a refund to date no refund has come my way and I am now left of of pocket nearly £300. I will never be using this type of service again and I personally will be contacting trading standards as this type of behaviour seems fraudulent to say the least.
