I originally completed a quotation on line and then realised I needed to speak to an advisor as I needed to insure a hearing aid as a separate item. I phoned and was impressed that the advisor could go straight to my on line quote and add the item for me. She went through the quote with me to confirm the details were correct, keeping me informed as she went along. The policy offers a wide range of cover and was approx £70 cheaper than my Saga renewal premium. Easy to set up direct debit and the first payment easily taken by debit card. A really good idea to keep the documents on line for easy viewing.

Having used a price comparison website I went online to the RIAS website where I was easily able to confirm the earlier quote and pay for the house contents insurance. A very quick and painless operation.

Obtaining an no-line quote appeared straight forward and the agent I dealt with on the phone to confirm purchase was helpful. When I received the documents I was surprised to find that the excess I had selected did not include the voluntary excess.

I have been a very happy customer for a year with my car insurance and then realised RIAS do home insurance too. The online application and total process made it easy to change over and validate. I now have both car and home insurance with RIAS. (Shame they don't do motorbike insurance otherwise it would be a full set for me). All of this and an excellent premium.

Applied for Home and Buildings insurance on line,but was not capable to get a quote. Next day I was phoned at home and my enquiry was delt very profesiomatly by a staff member. Very pleased with the respond, also with the new quote which was substantialy better than my previous insurer.

Fantastic service, very easy to sort out my requirements as well as the extras I needed. The young man was very knowledgeable when it came to my queries and executed my problems quickly. The price was half my previous company's figure, with whom I had been for years! Even my previous company agreed that I should swop to Rias when I told them that the monthly payment was half what I was paying them for the very same cover. I cannot think of a single negative about Rias.

Found the policy comprehensive and easy to understand, it's cover is all we require for our needs. The web application form was easy to complete and the premium acceptable for the cover. Let's hope that in the event that we need to make a claim, the follow up service is as efficient.

Easy on line set-up. I entered wrongly the sort code of my account so spoke to a customer service representative who updated the information and was extremely helpful and pleasant. Excellent service.

Both the buildings and contents covered substantially with low excess. Policy included accidental damage to IT equipment as standard. We were impressed that RIAS was Which? reccommended. RIAS was highly competitive on the web comparison sites yet providing better cover than many more expensive competitors. Good to note that all repairs are guaranteed. The only downside was the quote provided through a direct call to RIAS was £20 dearer even witrh a £35 cashback offer than the comparative website offer for RIAs and the same insurance cover details. I don't understand why that should be the case.

When deciding on Rias for House and buildings insurance I asked for a paper copy of the policy. I was promised this which would arrive in about 7 days. Almost a month later I still haven't received it. I presume my policy number will on that.

Very friendly telephone service from a lady who offered me an amazingly low price on buildings and contents cover(approx. £60 less than my previous insurer).The cover was also better. I highly recommend RIAS.
