I received a box off Dairy Box for Mothers Day as my daughter knows they used to be my favourite box of chocolates. How disappointed I was as they are nothing like they used to be and I don't like them at all. In fact I would rather throw them away than eat them and I can't believe I'm saying that about chocolates! Please Nestle bring back the old Dairy Box.

Every year a friend buys me Dairy Box chocolates for Christmas as these have always been my favourites, but sadly no more. It is alleged by me that over 50% seemed to contain nuts and the other centres were truffle based. All my past favourite centres had been replaced. What a lack of imagination Nestle!

I won't be buying or requesting these chocolates again.

Had three boxes of these chocolates at Christmas. Was very disappointed as my favourite centres are missing. Like nutty chocolate but also like variety. Will give these a miss in future.

Platic,pappy, horrible mouthfulls. I wish i had never eaten one let alone four! Four was more than enough. Dairy box were once the best choice and flavour chocolates around, now i wouldn't give them to a tramp.

i have just bought a large box of dairy box.. half price at sainsburys .. i wish i hadn't bothered they should rename it "samechocs" every chocolate tasted the same except the orange flavoured one which tasted like parmesan cheese .. never again ! i wouldn't even accept a free box .. bring back the old dairy box

Have just received Dairy Box as a present. Although pretty to look at, I am so disappointed that the centres have been changed, they are boring, bland and totally unacceptable, please bring back the original centres. I certainly won't be buying any until this happens.

These used to be my favourite chocolates. One of my aunts worked for Rowntrees so she always brought these home for the family. I am shocked at what Nestle have done to them. Unfortunately my son gave me a box for Christmas, but I am now going to tell my husband and children not to buy them for me again. They are all the same as has already been said and have no variety. They used to have a superb mixture, with something for everyone and the chocolate used to taste distinctive. I think maybe there was more cocoa in the chocolate. Now it's bland,waxy and leaves a horrible after taste. Terry's Old Gold has suffered the same fate...how long before Dairy Milk goes the same way or has it already? Ugh, ugh and ugh again!

Presentation in the box is about the only good thing!! Chocolates are all pretty much the same , contain truffle type mixtures. Used to be really good chocolates with proper variety of flavours. About time they brought back the original chocs from about 10 to 20 years ago. What happened to those great caramels coffee and orange creams etc that we used to expect in the Nestle Dairy Box? In my opinion, now it's just a load of rubbish in a nice box!!

Dairy Box have always been my favourite chocolates but what on earth was Nestle thinking of when replacing a perfectly good product with a load of rubbish. I WILL NEVER BUY THEM AGAIN.

Where do I start ?. Like many reviewers below I was looking forward to trying my Dairy Box as I hadn't eaten them for years and I had fond memories of them from the 1970's as a classic box of chocolates.

Was I disappointed ? YES

The selection has changed and there was not one I enjoyed. I ate 3 and through the rest in the bin. They also had an awful after taste of hydrogenated fat in them - which you don't get from the more high quality chocolates like Thornton's.

Will never be buying them again - I thought they were disgusting.

I too was totally disappointed when I received my Dairy Box for Mother's Day from my daughter. I have been eating these chocolates for years and they have always been a family favourite. They are so bland and terrible, I will NEVER buy these again. I wrote to Nestle to comment on how disgusted I was and begged them to bring back the originals. They did reply to advise that the chocolates had not changed in a long time and had to be updated, hu! Why meddle with something that is so good. Sorry nestle, you have lost one of your best customers!

I used to love these chocs but now they have been replaced by continental style truffle centres, yuk, why trade this muck under same name, its misleading customers, just a waste of money now.
