I thought this venue was fantastic and could not fault anything with it the food was great and meet with all our expectations the staff and service where second to non and we would recommend Parklands to anyone that was looking at getting married.

Parklands Quendon Hall is excellent Venue. Overall a fantastic day!
I thougt everything was great. I thought the food was expensive for what it was, but other than that everyone enjoyed the wedding.

Parklands is a really pretty venue, beautiful grounds and building, but i have to say overall i would never recommend it to any brides to be. The staff were really really rude, patronising and don't even get me started on the wedding coordinator. They served up the wrong dessert during my wedding meal, and when i questioned it they told me that i was mistaken and it was the right dessert! Someone apparently broke a toilet seat during the day and they came to tell me i had to pay for it during the middle of my speeches, they couldnt even wait until the end of the day to tell us.
They made unrealistic and awkward demands about buffet numbers/guests and were so unhelpful that the planning became extremely stressful. They really made us feel like we were not good enough to be there when we couldnt afford the "extras" that they wanted us to have.
I would never recommend Parklands to anyone getting married, save your money for somewhere that will make your day special.

Quendon Hall looks amazing, but everything is massively over priced. The rooms with no tv, room service and a 9am check out range from £152 -250 per room. Corkage is £14 per bottle of wine and the cheapest bottle of House wine is £20 for what tastes like some £5 plonk from Tesco.

I attended a wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall, Quendon, Essex, on the 1st of march. I must say from a guest point of view the whole day was fantastic. The food was to die for I felt like I was dining in a 5 star hotel restaurant the pork fillet was cooked to perfection and the presentation was second to none. The dining hall was over looking the dear ground giving a fantastic view. Overall I was made to feel extremely welcome I would recommend parklands to anyone to hold there special day. Picturesque venue. Beautiful decore. 5 star rooms. Food was to a high resturant standard. Only bad points were the staff could be a bit more friendly and would of liked a bit more time in the morning before having to check out.

Quendon Hall is an amazing wedding venue set in the most beautiful setting. I loved that we had exclusive use so there was no other wedding on the same day, felt like the house was our home! We found that the staff who both planned and ran our wedding on the day to be brilliant nothing was ever too much for them. The food was amazing and all our guests said how they thought it was the best meal at wedding they have had. Our Bridal Suite was stunning as are all the rooms at Quendon. Our family that stayed were overwhelmed with the rooms in house and was lovely that our close friends could stay in the 2 lovely cottages next to the house and was great that we all had breakfast together the next day. The comment about vaccating the room below at 9am, we were informed this before we booked our wedding and understood fully as we wanted to come along at 10.30am on our day of the wedding to get ready and so should other couples. I am amazed that the staff can even turn the house and rooms around as quickly as they do! Thank you to all at Parklands and I would recommend anyone to have their wedding here my friend is next year!!

Parklands Quendon Hall is a beautiful place, fantastic food, good service. A nice venue if you don't look too deep but i wouldn't book my wedding here. Food was lush and hot and the staff nice and friendly. What they didn't tell us is that we were apparently on a revolving door of weddings and that check out was 9AM even for the wedding couple (which I think is absolutely ridiculous) and that we would have to cross the car park with packed bags to be squeezed into a small dining room for breakfast in the cottage(s) so they can dress the house for the next wedding. We found the bar to be very expensive. Bad points were dirty looking rooms, broken shower, cottage rooms no where near as nice as in house (although seemingly just as dirty and expensive). No TV, the most expensive bar i have ever come across (and i've seen a few), 9am check out.
I think this place needs to READ the comments pages left in rooms cos i wasn't the only one to write an A4 side and i'm sure i wont be the last.

Parklands Quendon Hall, Quendon, Essex Review - The wedding itself was planned fantastically, and everyone was welcomed in and everything went without a hitch.
The food for the meal was very nice, however the vegetables were very undercooked (almost raw) and the bride's starter was still frozen in the middle.
The house DJ is terrible. I could have done a better job with an iPod!

Whilst Quendon is beautiful and a unique setting for a wedding, at our function all this was ruined by the thoughtless and rude staff. All in all we were very disappointed. When you go to a function here you expect service second to none - however we found Quendon lacking.

My husband and I decided to get married and gave ourselves two months to do it! We looked at Parklands on the internet and decided to have a look in person.
As we drove up the driveway we both knew that it was the right venue for us, it looks fantastic, with beautiful grounds and lots of deer roaming around, a perfect picture!!!
The interior is lovely - the rooms are big and decorated beautifully.
With the help of the staff we managed to arrange our wedding in the two months planned and it was more than we could have ever expected.
The food was wonderful, everything was done for us and nothing too much trouble, the ceremony room and the banqueting hall were a perfect setting for our wedding.
The staff were fantastic, Antonio was a god send, he organise everything on the day and got things running smoothly - he was fantastic with the little one's too!!!
Since the wedding everyone has commented on the food and venue and have said that they would recommended it.
I would suggest to anyone to go and have a look at it - it's fantastic!
