A very nice place, location is wonderful couldnt ask for more!! Food great just enough and was gorgeous! I would say the room was a little small but just big enough for the guest that were there but on the up they have a massive marque you can use!! Bedrooms massive lovely great couldnt ask for anything better. Overall i think it was very nice and would def be thinking about this venue for my wedding day!!

Parklands is definately the place to get married. Everything you could wish for is there, the beautiful venue is set in gorgeous countryside, making the photographs stunning. Everything has been carefully thought through for you to simply arrive with all of your guests & enjoy your day. The rooms are absolutely amazing, each one having its own luxury en suite & your comfort is without a doubt the priority. I cannot praise the staff enough, the standard of service was second to none. I have attended many beautiful weddings but Parklands made this the most outstanding day ever. The service given all day is just amazing, they definately have a 'nothing is too much' attitude. Every guest is very kindly looked after with total respect, regardless of age (from Gran to baby). The food is simply delicious, with every dietry requirement catered for. I would recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to have it at Parklands. Heartfelt thanks to all staff.

amazing, this is a truly stunning place. we attended a wedding and was blown away by parklands. the staff were constantly on hand for any of our needs. i have 2 children who loved running around on the grounds it was perfect for families. The food i cannot fault it was lovely and the childrens menu was perfect for children.I would def recommend this place to ant one i know.

a great setting well catered for staff friendly venue grand I would recommend this only 2 things I would improve the tea as to drink for breakfast was to week and the orange juice was not a nice one I am fussy on these to thing but they are miner and this is what they need to no on things like this i loved it thanks top all that run her

Attended my friends wedding and was stunned by the beautiful setting with a member of staff on hand straight away to lead us into the garden/fountain area. The ceremony was very romantic and room decorated as Kirstey had wished. Staff were on hand throughout the whole day and night and very happy to help with any thing asked of them.
Would def recommend this venue to anyone who asks after it.
All in all a great day for a great friend and her family.

Not only was this venue the best place i could have had my wedding but it was the experience - it is expensive however i can happily say every pence spent was well worth it! I would love to come back again one day and re live 'the dream'! thank you to Laura and all staff present on the bestest, most special day of my life!

I attended my daughters wedding on the 15th April 2010. I had visited Parklands in february where a wedding fair was being held. I was taken back by the actual location. The deer park, horses, and grounds were stunning. We then went iside the building and the look and feel of the house made me so comfortable to be there. We were treated as if we were the only people that mattered,and this was only on a wedding fairye.

The day of the wedding , we were met by Laura, the wedding co-ordinator. She was wonderful. My daughter was shown to a suite where she would relax, and dress before the ceromony. There were four rooms including a luxury bathroom. Tea and coffee, biscuits and water all available. If Kirstey wanted to take a stroll she was covered at all times by the staff locating her husband to be, and guiding Kirstey to the areas where she would not be seen.

I was shown to my room which used to be the bride and grooms suite. A GIANT chaquisee, a luxury bathroom, and four poster bed met me. A private suite with its own entrance. My privacy was secure.

The ceromy room was fantasticly romantic.
The staff made sure the flowers were placed exactly where the bride had requested. The guests were shown in and felt comfortable. The bride arrived down a secret staircase, and from no-where arrived into the ceromony room with a luxury cream carpet down the aisle.

The ceromny went to plan to the last second in a romantic setting.

Leaving the room all guests were met with a welcome toast by staff that were impecably dressed, and so polite.

We all retired to the gardens to have photo's taken by the large fountain, gardens, and pavilion.

The bar opened, and staff were busy making everyone happy. I ordered a coffee to be taken to the lounge. I relaxed in the lounge where my coffee tray was delivered, complete with coffee, sugur , and milk,

Time for the wedding breakfast, which was a huge success with everyone.

Place settings were easy to find, staff were on hand to help, and the waitresses, and waiters went beyond their job description to make the meal one of the best I have enjoyed.

The food was hot, and tasty and presented as a five star meal.The service was second to none, I cannot fault the meal or service.

In the afternoon we all retired to our rooms for a short rest. We were then treated to an evening of entertainment. The buffet was fabulous. Cold meats, biscuits, salad , fruit, bread,ect.

again the staff were impeccable.

When we retired for the evening, the bride and groom were takn to a white picket fenced cottage, by a chauffer driven car. I went to my room and had a night of undisturbed sleep in a wonderful room.

All thats left for me to say is if you go to see parklands remeber what I have told you here,,,,we went to view, and will never regret booking!

Parklands is the only place to hold a wedding of dreams, and make it a reality.

I never normally write reviews, but just wanted to comment on this venue. Our daughter chose this venue for her wedding day and it was a day to cherish. Our wedding events manager was so helpful and worked so hard not only on the day but in the run up to the wedding as did the rest of the team on the day. The staff seemed to appear by magic when needed, sorting out whatever was needed. We will be recommending this venue to anyone who asks as we had a magnificent day and couldn't have asked more for our daughter and son-in-law.

Spectacular venue
The venue is spectacular, as is the setting and the views. All the guests commented on how spacious and spotlessly clean the rooms were. The bridal suite - all we can say is wow! The food for the wedding breakfast, evening buffet and breakfast the following morning was superb. It was all served quickly, piping hot and with sheer professionalism. All the staff were smart, friendly, polite and professional. Nothing was too much trouble, even when minor changes were made at the last minute. We could not have wished for anything better for our daughter. We will certainly recommend Parklands Quendon Hall, having had a first class experience of it.

Out of this world!
The venue is superb, everyone is so helpful and down to earth; they make every visitor feel special right from the initial visit, the planning and on the day. The staff were all fantastic and so smiley and happy. They dealt with all the children running around with smiles and even pointed the direction they went in sometimes! The quality of the food was amazing and wish we could have taken some of the buffet home! The bridal pavilion was fantastic, we could live in that room! The overall impression of the venue was so good, we have and will be recommending to everyone!!

I have to comment on the other reviews, Parklands is stunning the staff the whole package was out of this world - I know a few people have commented on the early check out but when you consider this is exclusive use for your wedding day and all our guests could check into there room from 12.00am and breakfast was served the following morning in the clockhouse we were able to stay and enjoy this time with our family and friends in beautiful surroundings until about 11.00am which is nearly a 24 hour hire - I think you will find with all houses like this checkout is a little earlier but I was pleased to have the following day to enjoy wih our family and friends that had the joy of being able to stay - also all the bar prices are what I would expect and are what I would pay in my local pub!! I would go back to Parklands time and time again and would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful venue to anyone who is looking at getting married a billion gold stars on service, food, value and anything else!!!

A wonderful venue for our son's wedding. The snow arrived two days before which made the house and grounds a winter wonderland- great for photos. The food was top class and the staff were polite and unobtrusive. A guest with a food allergy was very impressed with his alternative meal, one guest even found on the day that she was unable to eat one of the courses because she was preganant, no fuss was made and the chef found an alternative at a few mins notice.
We decided not to stay at Quendon after the wedding because of the 9am checkout, too early when you haven't gone to bed until 1 am! A local B&B let us checkout at 11am.
Some guests commented that the drinks at the bar were very expensive.

Everything was superb, the venue, the staff, the food. The staff made the day so special for our daughter (even down to the cleaners!). The food was fantastic the rooms were spotless. Highly recommended to celebrate any special occasion.

Just a belated note to say a huge thank you to everyone at Parklands-especially the wedding event manager for making the wedding so perfect. The setting could nt have been more idyllic-absolutely everything about the rooms immaculate and breath-taking-the food looked and tasted out of this world and above all the service, friendliness and infinite care shown by you all was superb. We could nt have been more pleased if we had actually been the grand family who owned the whole estate and it had been our personal-stately home for generationswith the wealth to maintain its perfection inside and out!!! All agreed it was one of the loveliest wedings they ve ever attended - and we have nt stopped eulogising about the venue and your personal attention to every detail! Don t be suprised to hear from our contacts, such as our neighbours daughter. I am sure they would be every bit as happy as we all were. With thanks and warmest regards.
