IMG does not pay. They try and cheat you from your money. Do not get health insurance from them.

I bought a GlobalSelect policy from www.imgeurope.co.uk and it has worked fine for me and my family. My son had an accident in China and the policy paid his ambulance, surgery and medical bills no problem ($12,000). I'm happy with the service received and the price paid.

I made sure I read the policy part on how to claim before filling the form - it was easier to understand compared to some health insurance I've had before. No policy can cover everything - so read before you buy.

Terrible service and denied my claim saying "Pre-existing condition". I wish there was a negative rating, I would give them -5.

Do not fall into this scam. I bought it for my mother and they always refused to give any benefits. Always say pre-existing conditions. You keep getting all the bills!!!...horrible service and big stealers and rip off. run away with your money

I bought this for my parents when they visited US. policy was $25000 with $50 deductible. My mother had a doctor visit for her fingernail fungus problem n was billed $95. Now the insurance ppl say I have to pay the whole $95 coz they have a $50 limit for physician visit! So whatever the extra amount is, I need to pay that.pardon my language here, why the bloody hell will someone purchase insurance if I have to pay out the whole damn bill amount from my own pocket? DONT EVER BUY THIS IMG. Their phone wait time is like one hour before a damn good for nothing attendant (rude) picks up only to tell u tht ur claim is denied. save some money n buy another insurance pls.

My daugther was admitted to hospital.It's a shame, but it seems to me that IMG is working this way; `Doing everything within the policy rules to avoid paying out claims. All the bills an other necessary information from the hospital have been send, which have cost us USD 30 to send to the UK. There is no reason whatsoever to disbelieve this claim. Asking for the history of medical records make no sense to me, it's just a reason to avoid paying bills. Especially when IMG is well aware that in Indonesia they don't keep medical records at all. This is not Singapore or Europe.

Please never goto IMG.

I paid 1400$ in premium and took the PPO service for my parents.My mom was admitted to hospital for emergency.I got bills close to 20K and IMG did not even pay a penny.I followed all process laid by them.They some how linked the problem to my Mom's medical history(BP which she has for 10 yrsnow) and rejected all claim.I appealed and that was also rejected.Please never goto IMG.

I am not sure of anything negative to say about the insurance.

First of all we dont have to pay anything from out pocket immediately, the medical provided- sends the bill to img, and then img negotiates and gets the best rate- and aftet that based on our deductible, sends the bills.

I would definetley recommend to friends, Also 1 more thing- lot of people dont know about this insurance and hence think it is not good, but i have compared all other cmpanies with IMG, i think IMG is best.

IMG (International Medical Group) is the worst insurance provider. filed few claims with them, none of them were successful. Don't waste your money with IMG. Phone wait time is terrible only to hear that the claim was denied. Its not worth using this provider.

They have always been willing to work with us, regarding the many issues you have with a family with four kids. They have dealt with the Polish hospital system directly to handle guarantee of payment issues and they have been very responsive to all our inquiries.

Am surprised to read complaints about IMG. I was never really sick, but was impressed that they paid for regular preventive care up to $250 and paid my claims for these services promptly.
