“BEWARE - disgusting practices!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by BABSUK68 on 06/04/2012

How this company is still allowed to trade, is totally beyond me! Scammers charging £69.50 for a loan that never materialised!!! Furthermore, I was forced to take out a short term payday loan with one of their associates, in order for them to progress my application further. I didn't want or need this loan incidentally,. I repaid this short term loan together with the interest! I still had heard nothing re my original application. When I finally telephoned them, they were vnapologetic. In fact the advisor sounded positively annoyed that I had called and simply sent me a link to another company. the short of it is, that ive been left £69.50 poorer, plus of course the interest on that unwanted payday loan. Ive had no loan, nor have ever heard anything back from Yes. Furthermore, it would appear tLCt they have distributed all my details to all and sundry, so Im now imundated with calls day and night, offering me totally unrelated products!!furious, doesn't even begin to cover it!!

“These people are thieving, rotten scumbags!!”

written by on 29/02/2012

I used to work for this company. We had training for a week with a training allowance in it. Little did I know, they were getting me to work for a scam company. I only started working there for the money, not the work. I got so fed up with angry customers screaming down the phone at me (now I can see why)and after a couple of days, I quit!! I have since refused to put it down on my CV as I am too ashamed and embarrassed to even call myself a "once employee of Yes Loans". I now wish I never applied for the company as I had so many other options open to me. What I found out was that we had to follow a script and talk about the processing fee and if customers refused that they didnt want the loan anymore, we still had to approve their application regardless. I never got my training allowance or my earnings from the 3 days of being there. Yes Loans are a scam company and I urge anyone who is looking for any loans not to go with this company. Its the same thing for people who considering working there. Please dont. It can give you a bad reputation and that isnt a good way to begin a career. I applied for an application agent job and to be honest, I hated it. I thought it was filing away applications in the office but instead I had a number of people in the same group as me who applied for the same job. That was when I thought something was up and it was going to be call centre work which wasnt what I wanted!! Your putting yourselves at risk of being penniless and in trouble if you cannot get your money back. Take my advice. Ive been there and know what happens.

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

★☆☆☆☆

written by HMCALLISTER on 09/01/2012

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE THIEFS!!!!! They took over £400 from my account without me knowing it took me a over a year to get the money back after writing to the finacial ombudsman. I have read hundreds od complaints about this company including staff that get sacked if they do not get fees off customers they are also told to lie. even after the ombudsman wrote to them the phoned me and offered me half the payment back i refused and said i would let the obudsman investigate with in a week i had a full cheque through the post. i cannot understand why this company is still aloud to operate, the director of this company was also band from running a company for 10 years in 2000 but was somehow given a license in 2007.

“Refuse to listen, told lies ”

Good news you have been accepted.....then they call you to go through more details. They had me go on to the Internet and I was instructed to keep following links from the welcome email. I realised that I was eventually on a payday loan site, I said I did not want one of these and I was told 'no no it's fine this is just how we get all your details'. I said I would rather hear details about the loan. I was told that would be sent in the post just carry on here. By this time I was getting quite annoyed but spoke to a manager who confirmed that I was not applying for a payday loan, this was just to get my details confirmed. Well I should have trusted my instincts - another email from the payday loan company telling me that money is ready for my account. Quickly got back to Yes and they told me that the payday Loan was to tide me over until the actual loan came through?? Can't trust them I'm afraid so withdrew the application, if they bully you to take out a number of loans, not really a sign of responsible lending. Cancelled all applications. To be fair there was no fee which I see is mentioned in earlier reviews and they were quick enough with the application.

“Avoid at all costs.....!!!!”

written by on 07/12/2011

Absolutely terrible company..!! I applied on-line for a loan with them back in August. Within minutes, I received a phone call telling me that my application had been approved and I was even quoted a monthly repayment figure. I stupidly paid them a £69.50 'administration' fee and was told that my loan documentation was in the post - all I had to do was sign and return it. In fact, all I ever received was a loan offer from a different company offering me a guarantor loan - which I was unable to take up as I had no-one who could guarantee the loan on my behalf. The company's details were freely available on-line, and I could have contacted them myself and it wouldn't have cost me a penny..!! I've since contacted Yes loans and asked for the return of my fee (which, according to their small print, I'm entitled to do if I don't take up a loan within 3 months of applying to them), but they've so far ignored my letters. You live & learn I 'spose

“RIP OFF SCAM”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 14/11/2011

My son applied to this company on line, they immediately offered him a loan and he paid £69.50 processing fee from his bank account, he then received a text telling him the loan had been declined. He then asked for his processing fee to be refunded as this was the next day after applying. He would never of paid the money if they had told him the loan was declined. He has asked several times for the processing fee refund but over a month later they still haven't refunded it, it is impossible to get through to their customer service department you have to stay on the line for well over 10 minutes and then you eventually get cut off and have to start again. They have ignored his letter and have not responded, he did get several companies later on offering him loans and bombarding him constantly with texts but the interest rate was approx 48%. Luckily I managed to talk him out of this and showed him what loan sharks they are and that he should never have got involved with a company like this. I have contacted Watch dog and also consumer rights association but with no luck. This shouldn't be allowed to happen.

“AVOID!!!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by tommo1888 on 12/11/2011

AVOID!!! This company are by far the least professional and morally defunct organisation that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I needed a loan for £750, just for a year, rather than put the cost of a new car on my credit card. I received a phone call from them saying that they could provide me with this loan, however, first I would need to take a payday loan out for £100 (originally £400). I stupidly did this, and as I was rushed through the next stage of the actual loan, I began to become aware of some exerted pressure. I kept saying to the advisor - "let me read through the terms of the loan first"...his reply was - just scroll to the bottom and click accept, we can deal with any questions after you have accepted the loan. That is when I saw the interest rate - for £750, I would end up paying £1700!!! - I obviously refused and was subjected to increased pressure just to accept it, even to reduce it to £200. I kept refusing and then was passed onto a Manager, who also did his best to talk me into accepting the loan. When I suggested it may have been an idea to give an example apr before railroading me into the payday loan, I was met with derision and claims that I did not understand. When I made the point that not only had I balked at the interest rate but also found it extremely morally amiss of the advisor not allowing me to read the terms first and pressurising me into accepting a loan that I did not have the opportunity to read, I was chastised for having two complaints!!! After an hour on the phone, they finally accepted the fact that I didnt want the loan...... and that is just half the story!!! The WORST company I have ever dealt with, and I just feel lucky that I only am out of pocket for the payday loan!! - AVOID!!!!

They may have stopped taking a brokers fee straight away but if you get a loan with another firm that they brokered for you then there is a 10% broker fee put ontop of your loan amount. This is from personal experience from a loan i took out on 7th November 2011

written by on 31/10/2011

They called me after I was looking on the internet at some loans . they give me the figure of the loan repayment which seemed ok they asked me for my card details then they told me that they were a broker. Once I heard this I told them that I did not want to use their services and did not authorise any payments to come out of my account to them but low and behold paypay that friday came and £69.50 was taken out of my account so obviously they had been trying to take that money out everyday until the funds were there I have written to them and called them to get my money back and still have not been refunded nearly 2 months later. Do not use this company they are terrible.

Exactly what happened to me. I was only offered a guarantor loan, cancelled in July within 2 weeks of applying and its been 3 months now, still no refund of £69.50, I make endless calls, fax email complaints. Never had a call back, never had a reply to my complaint (there terms say you'll get a refund within a month and a reply to your complaint within a month) Have been told 2 cheques have been posted, both didnt arrive. Now they say as I've been waiting so long for a refund, they would pay it straight on my card within a week, that was 3 weeks ago. Rang again today, they will do it tomorrow. Believe it when I see it. And today like every time I ring still trying to persuade me to keep trying to get a loan. I said no no no your company is a joke. Ive had arguments with some staff because they are so rude, accusing me of lying about accepting a loan so they dont have to give me a refund. A complete joke and disgusting and I have learnt a big lesson, dont use yes loans, always research every company before applying.
