Vampires Rock is way better than the Rocky Horror Show - but musical taste is always subjective. Yes it was loud in Harrogate and it was fantastic! Steve Steinman might have made his name with a Meat Loaf tribute but he does one hell of an Axel Rose too! Welcome to the Jungle and Sweet Child of Mine were my highlights of the show, together with the Rainbow tracks, the ACDC tracks oh hell, this guy is a genius, the cast are miraculous and if you love Rock Music, you'll love this.

This is basically a poor mans Rocky Horror Show. While the music is pretty good, it is way too loud to hear clearly. You can't understand any of the lyrics because of this. I saw the show at Harrogate Conference centre, which was half full, but it is an exceptionally large theatre.
The highlight for me was Toyahs first appearance in a incredibly tight costume that left nothing to the imagination. The woman looks good for her age. The Baron has a very good voice, but I'm not too sure about the rest of the cast, including Miss Wilcox.
Pandora has a very annoying accent for some reason. Stringfellow is good comic value.
I have to say the audience seemed to thoroughly enjoy it, but I left feeling it could and should have been better.

I saw Vampire Rock at Theatre Royal in Norwich, it was an awesome show worth every penny, have seen Meat Loaf three times but this topped the lot, just a shame they're not bringing meatloaf with orchestra next year. Only bad point was it was over too soon could have rocked for hours! A must see show.

Nice and loud with an excellent blend of rock and ballads. All the cast can sing, all the cast can dance. The band are probably better than ever and this year they have Toya Wilcox belting out some great numbers as 'The vampire Queen.' Go and see this show.. (notice I didn't say 'go see'..) And Old Baron Rockulla and his side kick Stringfellow? Guys take a bow.. Fantastic. If this was in Vegas you'd be paying $200 just to stand outside and listen. The ticket price alone is worth it just to see the two guitar slingers let alone Steve and Toya.. Go and buy a ticket you skinflints.. You'll be back next year.. Simon Cowell? Eat yer' heart out...

I went to see Vampire Rock last night at the Hippodrome in Bristol and I have to say it was fab! Great acting, singing and brilliant laugh. Would highly recommend everyone to go and experience the show.

You can ' t really fault this show, the singing, sets, band, storyline and song choices were absolutely amazing!! They really get us involved in the show, Stringfellow is so funny when he gets going, Pandora gives the sexy impression and works it, the baron is wicked, he really takes the vampire thing to the next level, the devil queens outfits are awesome. But Toyah was a bit stiff in her movements. The singing from everyone was so good that it blew me away and the band really know their cords. They rocked the place.

Great night out! Don't go expecting to see a) a great piece of theatre or b) songs sounding exactly as the original band performed them and you'll have a fantasic time, all the more if you get into the spirit and dress as a vampire!

A great fun show which we really enjoyed. Not sure that real hardcore stadium rock fans would appreciate it but, as general rock fans, we loved it! The cast and band made loads of effort and looked as though they had a ball too - good range of songs though not so many modern ones (e.g. Nickleback), maybe a change of line up would be a good idea? Well worth going though!

I went to see Vampires Rock at Milton Keynes on Sat 13th Sept 2008. The Stables at first appeared a small venue and we were concerned if it would be suitable. The show started with 'Take me to the Jungle,' what a great start. There were two periods to the show giving a story basically of Dracula's Bride (very loosely). A couple of slower songs in the first period with some funny interludes left us feeling good but not great. The second period was hit after hit - and the finale was superb - dancing in the aisles. My 12 year old son came out and his first words were 'we have just got to see that again' - enough said.

Great fun and a fab show, I think those who didn't like Vampire Rock must of expected the real bands to show up as it was meant to be and was a fun night.

I don't recommend seeing this, it was bad! Who told any of them they could sing, it was like glorified fancy dres karaoke except kareoke has better singers!

Entertaining, great classics, funny and an awesome experience. I have seen it twice and will see again in Oct 08. This time I am bringing all my friends. It is more fun if you dress up like goths or vampires. Do not sit at the side near the speakers, you will not be able to see.

Excellent music, excellent entertainment, takes you back to in time with rock music. Excellent excuse to get dress up too but not compulsory. Great band who have the respect to sign autographs and have photos taken with you after. If you enjoy rock such as queen, whitesnake, bon jovi, etc you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous night, loved every minute of Vampire Rock. Lots of us dressed up in goth and black. Songs all familiar and performed brilliantly, storyline a little thin but what did you expect. Dancers brilliant, lead girl, fab and Steve, can he rock Meatloaf.
And we had the added bonus of Eddie from Twisted Sister. A really brilliant night and real good value for money.

What a waste of money to watch a bunch of people singing rubbish old songs whilst supposedly acting out a Dracula story: vampire wants bride, bride walks onto set dressed like an old lady and suddenly all her clothes fall off, old lady becomes vampires bride. That was it. For that sort of money, you'd expect the lead male to be able to sing a song right through and in the same key and you'd expect the lead female to be able to act - not that there was much dialogue at all. At one point, we thought the audience were going to be drawn into the action, but no, not one bit of audience participation either.
