“Full of Wind!”

I definitely will not be using Slim fast again. Gave me dreadful stomach pain and awful smelly wind! I would rather be overweight than use this product. I will now just eat healthy,fruit,vegetables,etc. Couldn't believe how ill it made me feel so quickly.

“Exactly what I was looking for”

I only began the SlimFast diet about five days ago, but I have to express how impressed I am. I am being a bridesmaid at my best friend's wedding in March, and I'd ideally like to lose about two stone by then. May not be the most realistic goal, but I'd like to at least give it a try. I began at 14st12lbs and now after five days I am 14st8lbs, so around 4lbs loss in five days. I am very happy with that. In my history of dieting, I've never stuck with anything and the most I've lost ever is about half a stone. I've always been intrigued by SlimFast, wondering if it actually worked. But so far it is working very well for me. I'm a big fan of milkshakes to begin with, so I enjoy them very much. I struggled with the meal in the evening at first, not quite knowing what was acceptable. I do have hunger pangs a lot, but then I drink water to supress the hunger, and it does disappear. And they'll all worth it when I stand on the scales and admire my handiwork! Its definitely a step in the right direction, and I am well on my way to my goal weight! Fantastic product

“mememe”

I have been using slimfast for years now and have been very happy with it having for breakfast every day. however I am disappointed that it has been changed using less sugar, this sounded good until I tasted it instead of sugar sweeteners are used more and it taste different. also the price has gone up quite a lot for my liking. I am at the moment looking for an alternative.

I've been on slim fast before back in November last year i lost 5lbs in one week but then never stuck to it afterwards, however I want to get back on it the shakes, want to ask anyone who has been on this if you could lose weight without much exercise as I am not a very good sports person with bad asthma and faint after a short period. If anyone could answer this that would be great. Thanks.

“I lost 6 pounds in 6 days on slim fast is this good?”

I have been on slim fast for 6 days now and lost 6pounds. My starting weight was 12 stone 8Ibs. I just have the two shakes and my evening meal and no slim fast snacks in between. I don't really eat fruit really maybe an apple or a banana but I do drink lots of water. I have been drinking the strawberry flavour shake and the vanilla, my evening meal is only small so I no I'm not going over with my calorie intake. Does anyone recommend any other ways I can lose weight on slim fast? Any different flavour shakes i could try? Any type of exercise I can do to help me lose more weight

First of all it tastes like cardboard, second of all, it has too less calories for people who are average height or tall. It definitely stops my hunger, but makes me want something sweet. (which is not good) I have used it for 4 weeks now and no difference Drinking just water with every meal will help me lose more weight than this shake would ever do, I would not recommend it to any of my friends.

Slim-Fast 3-2-1 plan works well with my schedule. I am a college student so I am constantly on the go pretty every single day and to have a diet that provides on the go meals for me is a plus. But I can see how this diet may not work for everyone. The Slim-Fast diet is based upon a 1200 diet and this diet may have a too low calorie count for people over 5 foot five. I am just under 5 foot so this is about the right amount of calories I should be eating. Overall I thought that this was a great plan and allowed me to be creative with my snacks and my main meal at the end of the day.

“A quick fix”

I have used the slimfast diet twice now and have found it a good way to kick start your diet. I would recommend drinking lots of water to help fill you up before you have your shakes. With sensible eating and gentle exercise I've lost 6.4kg in 26 days. My only issue with the slimfast plan is that with the powders is their isn't many different flavour options. Mixing the powders is an option, but that also soon gets a bit boring. All in all I would recommend slimfast to start your diet but only until you change your mind set and eating habbits.

been on the slim fast diet for 3 weeks now. have 2 shakes 1 light meal in the evening plus some fruit. swim 30 lengths 4 days a week.I have lost 1 stone 3 pounds to date. if this diet is followed correctly you can not fail. the shakes are lovely. Its not easy and needs strong willpower but does work for fast weight loss. so pleased with this diet. I have put a lot of weight on over the last year after a major operation. I am 65 thank you slim fast I feel so much better.

“A little Disapointed”

I am a good dieter, and don't have a great interest in food, and I have reached the age of 72 where no diet seems to work, so thought a shake for breakfast and lunch would be a good idea, and something light for tea. The shakes are lovely, and I would recommend them to a friend, but they did nothing for me. After a month I have not lost anything, in fact I have put on weight, it must be all that milk. I shall now be back to salads, beetroot and runner beans.

have been dieting for a while now but wanted something to help as I was getting bored with same foods every day so decided on slimfast.was really fired up and ready to lose some weight as product seemed to have good feedback .however after a week of following this diet as instructed lost absolutely no weight at all definitely wont use again

Well just weighed myself after 1 week and I am 6lb lighter. I have not always had the 2 shakes every day, just 1 shake for 4 days and I have substituted the missing shakes with other snacks such as dairylee dinners, fruit and cottage cheese with sesame crackers x 2. I have always had a healthy choice of dinner not going over 600calories. I am so pleased and I do find the shakes to be pleasant-I use a hand blender. :-):-):-)

fantastic if done properly, slimfast isn't a miracle worker but it does what it says, maybe sliminthelongterm would be a more appropriate name. Exercising alongside gives even better results so maybe try a 45 minute brisk walk 5 times a week along with the diet.

“Not for everybody”

I have tried the Slim Fast and I do believe it works but only on the right person. I was able to go through with it for about two weeks but after that I got tired of the same thing over and over. I really enjoyed the slim fast drink Cappuccino Delight. It was one of my favourite and I still like it once in a while today. This diet helped me lose around 7 pound in two weeks which is good I think. I would have one shake in the morning, then a snack, and then a meal bar, another snack and at night a good 500 calorie meal. There are not many different options, I think that is one of the bigger problems for me. But overall for the right person it is good.

“will it work ?”

will slimfast work if I am 8 stone 8 pounds ? I have one slimfast for breakfast and one for lunch and cut out the slimfast snacks and then have my one meal in the evening where I have whatever I want. Will I lose weight this way and at the weight I am or do you have to be abit heavier than this for it to work ?

When I first tried slimfast (this time last year) I was around 8stone 11pounds and had what you're having but with one of the slimfast snacks and fruit snacks. I did intense home workouts everyday and only lost around 4 pounds after about 50 days. Very disappointing. Considering this, I am now 8stone 6pounds because of simply eating healthily, doing as much exercise as possible (which isn't a lot now as I work full time) but I work in a nursery which is very physically demanding! Basically.. I think it depends on how serious you are about losing weight and how well you stick to the slimfast plan, also, sadly usually the less you weigh, the harder it is to lose body fat. BUT don't try and lose weight if you weigh 8.8! Be confident with who you are :) good luck

“Skin/hair and slimfast”

I have been having two Slimfast a day plus a healthy meal for the last fortnight - I have noticed my skin and hair look better. Slimfast works for me, it is not for everybody but it works for me. I have lost 6 lbs in two weeks and my stomach has also shrunk also I seem to have more energy. Decision making is taken away from me for at least two meals, I find it straightforward to lose weight that way.

“Starting this again! :)”

So, I'm starting slimfast again! I first tried the slimfast diet for a few weeks in the October/November months of last year. I don't know if it is an effective weight loss diet or not because I only did it for a few weeks and the intended purpose was not weight loss. I started slimfast before to control my eating habits. When I was younger (I am 17 and 18 in 19 days) I had a healthy apatite and had no problems with food. I was in size 14 clothes but it didn't bother me. Then when I was 15 or 16 I started to pay more attention to my appearance including my weight and I can't remember how but I stopped eating as much and became quite picky with food, getting me into a size 12. I stayed in a size 12 for about a year and I wax happy with that. But then, my eating habits went crazy! One day I could eat so much junk food and then other days I couldn't eat anything at all without feeling ill and I went down to a size 10. After a few weeks of this I started slimfast as I thought it would be a good way to control my eating and it really was! I only stopped because my mum who was buying me the slimfast products went on holiday for a week meaning I ran out and I didn't have the money to buy more. The reason for me starting slimfast again is actually going to be to lose weight this time. I am still a size 10 but I really hate feeling fat and that is how I feel when looking at the little wobbly bit on my stomach and despite what people tell me I hate my legs (well my thighs) :( after eating so much over Christmas I also feel that I need to get my eating habits back to controlled portions again. I would really like to get down to a size 8 or 8 stone 5 as this is about the lowest I can go whilst still having a healthy BMI as I am 5'8 which is tall for a girl. So basically I would like to go down a size in clothing and lose a stone in weight if possible. I know this will take a long time but it's always good to have goals right?? I don't know if this will work but I am ready to try!! I had a Subway and a portion of cheesy chips for my meals today just to give myself a pre-diet treat! I'm already feeling full and fat meaning I am ready to try my hardest to lose weight! New Years resolution time!! :P This is my plan... Breakfast - strawberry shake (powder mix - I got this from Boots today as it was half price and I really hope it is okay as I only had the pre-mixed bottles and meal bars last time!!!) Dinner - meal replacement bar (I had these last time so I know that I am okay with these :)) Tea - a meal of 600 calories or less (I know I should be having super healthy meals but I can generally only have what my parents but me as I don't have the money so as long as it's no more than 600 calories I figure it'll be fine). I might get different flavours and stuff but that's my basic idea. I have had some of the slimfast snacks before but I did not buy any today so if I'm hungry in between 'meals' tomorrow I will go to Tesco and either buy a slimfast snack, some fruit or a snack with no more than 95 calories as that is how many calories are in the slimfast fast snacks. I'm not really good with sticking to exercise so I'm thinking of daily half an hour walks with my mum and dog as I have started doing this recently and playing games like Zumba and just dance on my wii for half-an hour to an hour a day unless I really don't have the time. If boots is open tomorrow I will weigh myself and keep this up weekly, keeping all the slips. I will also take pictures on my iPad of me in my underwear and then compare my body to the pictures to see if there is a change. I will probably do the compares monthly if I can keep up the dieting and see results. I might even buy a size 8 outfit and see when it will fit me. Anyways, I'll start tomorrow and write another review in a few weeks - a month to tell you if and when I see results :P

I have underactive thyroid and I am on medication, I have just started slimfast today and any advice would be great, on how to cook the main meals, e.g. what type of meals are you allowed to have etc? Can you have bread, potatoes etc/
