Terrible service, will NEVER use again, placed an order on 14th of August for dog food, no e mail no delivery by 21st, rang and told company changed hands and MAY get delivery next week,cancelled order via PayPal.

I have had no sensible communication with this company since 7th August when I contacted them by email to cancel an order for dog food which was ordered and paid for in July. The only response I get is "We are currently receiving a very high number of emails, which is delaying our response time. We will endeavour to get back to you within 48 hours." There have been quite a number of 48 hours since 7th August! Neither the Live Chat nor the telephone (I was simply cut off by Pet-Supermarket) has provoked a response. The pet food has been delivered and I was promised it would be collected last Friday (14th August) as I had to buy alternative food from another supplier or face starving dogs. It is sitting in my front hall waiting collection and I haven't had a refund. So much for a 'No Quibble Returns policy'. Clearly since it's recent takeover Pet-Supermarket has lost its way.

er waited more than 10 days and despite e mails heard nothing. We were getting very worried and rang phone line to be cut off and then discovered web site down. By some small miracle Yodel found our order at the back of their depot and delivered it badly damaged but still all there. We were very lucky and escaped by the skin of our teeth. Avoid this company at all costs. We have since had an e mail telling us they are dealing with our order and it will be despatched soon. The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. Stay away.

I have received no reply about a product that was never delivered but delieverd to a Yodel Depo over 8 miles from wghere i live. I have been trying to contact tehm ever since, no contact at all. AVOID.

Placed order 2 weeks ago and nothing - even paid for expedited delivery. £70!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have contacted authorities who are launching and investigation and have reported to watchdog. Disgusting.

Made and paid for an order, which we did not receive - getting fobbed off with emails and there web site was 'having maintenance problems' ...have now tried calling but get cut off. Wish i had seen the other reviews first.

I placed an order on 30th July with a delivery date of on or before 6th August. Today (12th August) still nothing. I do not receive responses to my emails, cannot get through to anyone on the phone, nor via the live chat facility. I too cannot believe that the website is still up and running. I have reported this to the Citizens Advice Bureau. Hopefully, they will have received a number of reports and someone will both to investigate. Unfortunately, I did not use Paypal so don't have much chance of getting a refund.

Very angry as I've been a local customer of this company for several years. As seems to be the case with other customers they've taken and acknowledged my order taken my money but nothing has arrived. They're uncontactable so looks like I've lost my money. Have made a claim with Paypal so hopefully will get my money back. How can this company still have a website and offer sales if they're not trading the website should be closed down or at least an honest message that they're not trading not website down for maintenance. Avoid this company. I placed my order on July 28th and was promised delivery by August 4th. I am still waiting. During this time the website was allegedly down for maintenance and phone number is unobtainable. I had an automatically generated response to my email to them but that is all. Today the website is up and running and the same phone number is published but guess what...not available. The online chat facility tells gives you a waiting time but clearly is not functioning either. Leads me to suspect this company is trading fraudulently. I have raised a dispute with my credit card company in the hope that I may have some recompense.

I ordered with this company first in 2012 and all went well so had no concerns about using them again. Ordered on 30th July 2015. order should have arrived with me by 6th August. It has still not arrived on 11th August. Cannot get through on the phone. Live web chat facility does not work. I have sent three emails and had no response. I have facebooked and tweeted them and again no response. I fear that I will have a battle to get my money back. Don't use this company. They have nearly £100 of my money and have supplied nothing in return. Terrible company.

Do not use this company. They take your money then do not deliver and can't then be contacted. I suspect they are trading fraudulently, whilst knowing they are insolvent. I ordered on the 27th July, promised delivery on the 4th August, emailed on the 5th when nothing turned up, then fobbed off with and automated email response. I have raised a disputed with PayPal against them to try to get my money back. From now on, it's my local pet shop for dog food. It's pricier, but you can see the product before you pay for it.

I have been ordering from Pet Supermarket for some time. Placed order on 26th July 2015. My money was taken from my account, then e-mail to say there would be a slight delay!! Website went down and phones disconnected!! Paid £96.55 through Paypal and now looking to retrieve my money. If as reported they were going into liquidation did they still take peoples money, they should be prosecuted for this behaviour. DISGRACEFUL.

I placed my order on the 28.7.15, money was taken from my account and an email confirming delivery on or before 4.8.15 - still waiting! Company NOT answering their phone, NOT replying to emails and their website is down! Disgusting to have taken mine and others money knowing full well they were going into liquidation! It has put me off ordering online again!

I've used Pet-supermarket in the past with no problem whatsoever. Delivery came within 48 hours of ordering. However, as with other reviewers, my order of 28th July was acknowledged but I haven't received any goods. My credit card company has refunded my payment with no problem. I'm now looking for a different supplier if anyone has any suggestions.

I placed an order on 28th July 2015; I received a confirmation of order email and money was debited to my credit card. No delivery made and there is no way to contact the company. They have stopped trading and this has been confirmed by my credit card company.

We have used Pet Supermarket in the past and always been happy with the price of the products and speed of delivery. We usually order just as we are getting to the end of our current bag and get our delivery within a couple of days. NOT THIS TIME. I ordered over 10 days ago and am yet to receive my order, yet they have taken the money and i've had an email to say it has been dispatched (that was 5 days ago). They are not replying to emails other than with an automated response to say there is a backlog and their telephone numbers are no longer working. The website has also been down for at least a week. I am absolutely disgusted at this poor level of service. Particularly since they took the money straight away. Thankfully we paid through paypal so I will be submitting a paypal complaint now in an attempt to get our money back and will not be using them again. We are out of pocket as we have been continually buying small bags of food to give our dog in the mean time always thinking that it must be here soon. Won't make that mistake again.

Placed an order for dog food a week ago, they took my money and nothing has arrived yet. Website is down, phone line dead (automated message), no further communication whatsoever.

SAME HERE. Webpage still down, phone lines down, have just emailed them using their email address from my order, no reply.
My order was £34.96.
Just had this email from them in reply to mine:
