We have been with this company since it started and really had no big problems like my fellow colleagues have experienced, Supanet since we started on dial up have been helpful and honest and for a small provider company I rate them tops because their are far worst isp's out there trying to trap you into a contract which they can't keep to themselves.

My parents have recently joined Supanet broadband but the modem keeps disconnecting after just minutes of being on Explorer. This has been going on for 3 weeks now and still unable to get a long connection. I have emailed and rang Tech support and was told as its new, the line is trying to find it's strongest connection but will become stable within a week - Still having problems!!! They want to cancel as they are now paying for a service that they are clearing not getting.
Just hope they don't try and charge for breaking contract with me because the contract ISN'T working!!!
AVOID!!

The deals offered to new customers of Supanet are far better than they give to their long standing existing customers, i.e. faster speeds, wider bandwidths, no download limits, free phone calls and wireless modems. They don't keep their existing customers informed of better deals, therefore giving inferior service to loyal customers. If you complain, they just tell you how to cancel your contract.

I phoned them to ask for my MAC number yesterday, and I was talked in to taking another contract out with them, which was cheaper. This morning I rang to cancel the contract. They informed me I had waived my 30 day right to cancel because it was being rushed through. Yet, the man who had persuaded me to take out the new contract had not mentioned this! My carer and I tried to argue the case, but the person I spoke to at Supanet said if I cancelled it, they would charge me £14.99 for 12 months. I honestly believed I had 30 days in which to change my mind.
The reason I wanted to change is because there are a variety of ISP's that charge as little as £19, with line rental included.

I've had 3 months of slow speeds with Supanet. We are going around in circles... I've spent 2 hours on hold before on a number of occasions, and when you get through they are unhelpful.
I had 2 'training periods' of 10 days, then 12 days of 'it's BT's fault', a little bit of 'blame your router' and finally (and this is my favourite) 'YOU CAN'T CANCEL ANYWAY - YOU'RE IN A CONTRACT' - 3 months, 3 payments... I might as well be on dial-up. These guys make Tiscali look like angels.
Think before you click... Try Eclipse or Zen - Helpful, friendly nice guys (that's where I'm going when I finally get Supapoo off my line).

The Supanet system is not very stable, or happy with remote e-mail account links to browse, blitz and eradicate spam messages to your inbox. The engineering of the site is designed to get you continuously browsing front load pages of advertising at every step of a simple process. It's boring... very boring and time consuming.
I started with dial up, then moved to broadband with all their hype and promise of efficiency - but none was delivered I'm afraid. I'm just about at the end of their 12 month hand-cuff contract and true to say - I'll be glad to switch to a different, more user friendly environment. Supanet sucks.

I've used Supanet Broadband for approx 1.5 years and find it OK when connected but lately I have experienced increased instances when I cannot connect and the help desk is useless.
I am now trying to change provider and they will not provide me with a Mac code without paying a £50 admin charge. They cut the connection off before the date they gave me but after 10 days the line is still not cleared - when I complain I get no help.

Nearly all ADSL review sites give them a high customer rating, so that tells its own story, and most ADSL problems are invariably caused by the exchange or phone line itself, and not by Supanet.

I joined Supanet about a 9 months ago, and generally Supanet is OK. I have a 1MB connection which does not decrease or increase due to heavy usage, but does break down and have to be redialled. Their customer service is actually quite good, I don't know if this is a recent change or not. It is quite hard to get information from their site, as it's a bit jumbled up, but customer service does not charge to call. Overall they are very cheap and a decent ISP.

Supanet (www.supanet.com): After BT disconnection I contacted the Indian call centre and it took about 1 hour mostly on 0800 and latterly on 0845 number to make account operational and after several hours use it appears to be equivalent to my previous BT Broadband 2m package at a £6 per month saving.

Most ADSL sites list Supanet as being abysmal. Supanet requires of its customers certain obligations, which many other ISP's do not require. Customers are not made aware of these obligations until they try to leave.
