My daughter is 10weeks old. A few times the alarms have sounded when it was only where she was in such a deep sleep. It was sometimes annoying and we turned the sensitivty down.
I laid her to bed late one night after a busy day where she had been awake all day. I could hear her making noises and i went to bed (with her next to me still making noises). 10 minutes later the 1st alarm beeped, i sat up just to check. As i reached out i could see she was not breathing and was grey, the alarm went off. I grabbed her from her cot trying to wake her, passed her to my partner and phoned for an ambulance. Turns out she has severe reflux and choked on the acid coming back up her windpipe. The doctors did'nt need to tell us that without these monitors our princess would'nt be here now. We have bought another monitor for her moses basket in the frontroom so now i have peace of mind wherever she sleeps. The Angelcare monitor saved my daughters life and I thank the angels above I read a review while i was pregnant and decided to buy them. For what they do and have done id pay much more then what they cost!!

i have used my angelcare sound and movement monitor for both of my children and have been completly satified with it. i have the AC201 model. I would recommend it. My eldest son is 2 1/2 now. I used it as a sound and movement monitor up until he was 1, then i just used the sound monitor. i now know why the alarm would sound some nights. He stops breathing for over 20 seconds and is now due to have tonsils removed to correct this. i would never have known if i hadn't have had this monitor. It has never gone off with my 1 year old.

Feedback on the Angelcare Baby Monitor is terrible. Some days picks up noise outside but not the baby crying. This is a very poor product. The temperature readout is 2 degrees out compared to grow egg. Not good value for money. I have no confidence with this product what so ever. We replaced with BT 150 - so much better and cheaper.

The monitor has various options to choose from to monitor your sleeping baby. We have found this monitor invaluable as it gives you piece of mind as one of the settings allows you to keep a listening watch whilst happy in the comfort that the monitor is also monitoring your babies heartbeat....would recommend this monitor to anybody and everybody.

Unfortunately my Angelcare Baby Monitor doesn't detect movement even when the baby is moving. I have gone in countless times to find the alarm going off and my son breathing just fine.
Too many false alarms, all night long, sometimes 3 a night. It was worse than co-sleeping as far as waking me up.

My daughter sleeps between 10 and 13 hours every night from the age of 4 months the Angelcare monitor gave me great piece of mind that she was just sleeping and not to worry.
She is such a rummle in her bed and goes all over the place in her cot the monitor is still new she was there and still asleep. she is the youngest of 4 and I only wish they were around for my others.

Angelcare Baby Monitor - I TRULY BELIEVE THIS MONITOR HELPED SAVE OUR BABY BOY'S LIFE. Unfortunately in Dec 04 our little boy, (at only 3wks old) became very poorly, just a cold a GP said! Anyhow the night before our little one was rushed to A and E, the alarm went off a couple of times, which I believe was due to him forgetting/being unable to breathe. Both the sound of the alarm and myself picking him up woke him. The next day he was on life support. Happily xmas eve he was home again with us thanks to a super team at Bolton Hospital and of course, Angelcare.

Total peace of mind, sleep easy. I have used the angelcare digital monitor for both my kids and i have had nothing but PEACE OF MIND and let me sleep easy at night - i would totaly recomend this for other mothers - infact i have bought one as a gift for my pregnant sister. Sometimes hear noises from other houses due to them having monitors - but im sure that this would happen with any monitor

Only had two false alarms, ever, with the Angelcare baby monitor (18 months of use) - both our fault, as the sensor had moved when changing the sheet. Certainly gives peace of mind. This would get 10 out of 10 if it were digital.

Great buy - wouldn't be without one. Also you don't have to keep checking to see that your baby is alright during the night.

Poor repair reporting & refusal of replacement or someone to come & inspect in home few minutes drive from where it was purchased from. Other than that I like it, however have also had to turn the sensitivity up to the max of 5, as my daughter now sleeps on her belly (she always rolls that way) & sometimes with a knee up so her chest doesn't always touch the mattress & the alarm was going off once or twice a night.

I would not use anything else! The Angelcare baby monitor was the best thing we bought, and it really puts your mind at rest. It is a fab item!!

Angelcare monitor detects babys movement and sounds an alarm if no breathing is detected after 20secs. Even though the company say it can not stop cot death; it does give me some peace of mind that if anything did happen, I'd have some warning and possibly the chance to do something about it. It also works well as a normal baby monitor although the parents units seems to eat batteries - use the adaptor if you can.

Thank God you had one of these monitors!! I have bought one and can honestly say it is the best baby item i have bought and can't recommend it highly enough.... such peace of mind and the parent held monitor goes on for hours and hours without needing to be recharged. An absolute must have, truly brilliant!!!
