“Abysmal levels of low”

Boots Boots Boots...the new low they strive to sink to is never ending...bought a mascara for my wife which was placed in the wrong location and ended up with the wrong colour. tried to exchange it at the abysmal store in Kingston Park, Newcastle but apparently on the back of the receipt, that is after you buy the product, it says make up is not returnable...how many of us read the back of the reciept after purchase. Called 'customer care' and they are just as useless as the store. absolute and utter disgrace. tried to call the store manager but the store phone number asks you to go to the national 'customer care'...absolute disgrace which proves why we abandon physical stores...and soon Boots

“missing almost 90% of my order”

Placed an order for a little under £300 worth of goods Was told all bar one item was posted under a particular tracking number Parcel with that number arrived - it had three bottles of shampoo in it and nothing else Used their Virtual Assistant, it told me to wait until the other parcel with the last item arrived, in case the rest of my order was in there Second parcel arrived, it only contained one item Contacted Boots customer care to ask when I could expect the rest of my order Boots customer care advised that they would take up to 21 days to carry out an "investigation" before they decided whether or not to "authorize" giving me either the items I'd paid for, or a refund Now I'm out almost £300, Boots is holding onto my money, and their lack of a timely a d reasonable response means I don't even have the funds to go elsewhere to get what I need Fortunately I did pay by credit card and as it was over £100, I'm covered by Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act I will not be using Boots again, and strongly recommend other customers avoid this untrustworthy, unreliable company

“TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE”

Ordered two aftershave only one arrived in the box. Phoned boots and they originally said they would refund I then chased it up because the refund hadn't gone in the bank. To be then told they had conducted their investigations and they wouldn't be refunding in effect saying I had lost the product even though the box they had sent was too small for two products. Surely after reading all these complaints they should be conducting their own investigations to see whats wrong with their own procedures. I've spent £100s at Boots over the years. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

“Awful Costumer Service”

Placed an order online mid November. Went to collect order from store when the email indicated but was nothing there, staff advised to go the following week as sometimes parcels take longer. Went back again and of course no order has arrived, a lovely member of staff called costumer service and after lots of back and forward conversations, customer service said that they will issue a refund and i will receive an email confirming all of these in 3 hours. A week after as i hadn't received an email i called costumer service, I was then told that it will take 20 days for my refund to be approved and about 3 days for me to receive the money. Time pasted, no money received and no communication from Boots as well. I called again costumer service in order to be told that my refund hasn't been approved as the previous person that was dealing with it didn't contact the Boots shop to verify that i didn't receive my order. So Boots was happy to take my money and not deliver and my order. After a lengthy conversation the person on the phone said that will approve my refund and i will receive an email in 10 minutes. When i said i don't believe you i want the email and then i will terminate the phone call, he just hang up on me. Great costumer service Boots, well done..... Of course no email received so i called back and told that i will receive at some point an email and i should get a refund in 3 to 5 days. I'm 100% sure if a small independent shop was behaving like that they will have been out of business. I don't think so I will order anything again from Boots and try to avoid shopping from there all together.

“Parcel not delivered, no refund given!”

Basically , my parcel has been left by my front door underneath the door mat, once I take the mat I see the box opened and the item was not there. It was a £59 fragrance from boots, but delivered from Royal Mail. I called Boots and they said the parcel has been delivered properly and haven’t refund my money! Although they don’t even have a proof that someone received the parcel. I asked for a picture of my signature and of course they don’t have any! They left the box on my front door and all they have is a picture of my door. Apparently they went on an investigation with Royal Mail and just decided not taking any responsibility!!!!

“Bad customer service”

I have been having issues with buying online as it keeps rejecting the payments saying that it failed the internal validation checks. Having been a customer for over 10 years you would think that there's a form of customer loyalty, however when calling customer service, they said that there is nothing to do about it, for me to go shopping somewhere else and that this problem can't be resolved. When I asked why it failed and that this can't be as I'm a customer for so long online and in shop they said tough luck and hung up the phone on me. Shocking service and left very disappointed.

No I tried it a couple of times and then gave up. Eventually I managed to go to the big store in central London where I bought the items. The ladies there apologized for the inconvenience but said they couldn't do anything about the online systems.

“empathy and understanding”

I would like to thank both for their empathy and understanding during an eye test and then dispensing of new specs Diversity is not easy for some people, yet both had an inbuilt understanding of need, something that is not taught but comes from within Because of the understanding of the situation, rewarded by a smile, the experience was not stressful and the outcome the best possible. Time was given and not being rushed supported the person, and this will be remembered for future visits. It is nice to be able to say thank you,

“Appalling Online Service”

I bought a camera bundle for our granddaughter which should have arrived at our local Boots on 15 November. On 28 November, after allowing over the 5 working days they state you should wait, I checked with them as it still had no tracking information on what is an archaic help system. It took 20 minutes to navigate a phone system which constantly leads to automated dead ends, before being told that it would be resubmitted, then that they could not do it because it is now out of stock! No firm date could be given for when it would be delivered. My money is being refunded but this can take up to 14 days!! This is the worse online service I have experienced and not what I would expect from a company as established as Boots. The lack of information and appalling online and telephone platforms display a total disregard for customers. I will NOT use this service again and advise that anybody considering it look elsewhere.

I visited Boots in Southgate Bath, and met the lady on the Estée Lauder counter. As I am approaching 50 I wanted a new skin regime, and make up advice. She was so kind and genuine, and did a make over with me, with amazing results. I bought some fantastic products for my skin and some very flattering make up. She gave me lots of helpful advice and tips, and was a genuinely lovely person. I would highly recommend going to see her if your old regime is growing tired and you want a new regime for your skin and make up! Thankyou!! :)

Boots Online GP - avoid avoid avoid Boots Online GP - AVOID Order a blood test, send it off in good time as instructed. Wait over 10 days, no response. have to chase and get told they held the blood too long for it to be tested on. No refund policy. Down 45 pound for their inability to process a blood test. Avoid avoid avoid. So sad Boots over the years had a good public image... Not now for me, will intentionally never buy from them for the rest of my days. Good job Boots.

This travel system is without doubt the worst purchase we’ve made for our baby. I asked boots / mothercare customer services two questions regarding the car seat which are important for my baby’s safety, regarding the placement/ incline of the car seat as there is no indicator on it, which literally all modern car seats have these days, except this one! The response was ‘we don’t know’. Well you should know because it’s crucial that a baby is at the correct angle and that their chin doesn’t touch their chest, to protect against SIDS. Further down the line I asked if the grey insert can be removed as my baby is getting very squashed in there, she’s only 4 months and far from a big baby. Again the response was ‘we don’t know’. The icing on the cake came today when I asked if there was a warranty on the car seat as a part has broken. Yes there is a one year warranty I was told. But no parts! I have to return the WHOLE travel system to store, wait for it to be delivered back to the warehouse, then wait for a replacement to be delivered back. So that’s almost a week I’d be without items as crucial as a pram and a car seat. I asked if next day delivery would be possible and got a simple ‘no’. Oh and it depends on stock too! So I could return the travel system, they could discover that there’s no stock available to send me a replacement, and then I’d be left with no pram or car seat indefinitely! I will never buy anything for my baby from here again as the customer service is non existent!

I went to Talbot Green Boots last Saturday to buy No7 products for myself. I had a voucher, but she told me, she knows a better deal. So I saved £35, I bought a lipstick and a foundation so I had £10 off, also she gave me a No7 eye shadow palette too. What a bargain. Thank you so much, you made my day. Thank you

She was a great help, she showed me the best deals, beautifully wrapped and gift boxed all the Coco Madmoiselle presents. She was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, an absolute star. “Terrible customer service”

Terrible customer service. Tried to order a high value item which my account kept failing validation. Spoke to numerous people with only one person attempting to help but then once that didn’t work a promise that the customer service team would look into it and sort it out. A terrible reply back from them, apparently a manager, no explanation as to why, basically just a tough luck attitude. Baffles me why they wouldn’t have a system that gave an explanation as they lost £700 worth of business with myself unless they just didn’t want to give me the advantage points. I have gone elsewhere for the product now as it’s been 2 weeks since first trying to order. After this experience I think I will just make a point of shopping elsewhere as always considered boots my first point when it came to toiletries etc.

“Utter contempt for their customers”

Boots customer service is an absolute disgrace, and the contempt for their paying customer frankly beggars belief. I ordered a Dyson Airwrap for my daughters birthday at a not insignificant cost of £480. This was supposed to be delivered to store for click and collect on 3rd June. Nothing arrived, when I queried on 5th June I was told tough luck, we can’t do anything until fine business days have elapsed despite the guaranteed delivery date. I wait the five days, then get told that I need to complete a ‘lost’ declaration with the insinuation that I have nicked it! - for a product which is being delivered to store, not my house and which they admit has not been delivered. This will take a FURTHER 21 DAYS to review before I am found ‘not guilty’ and will see a refund or replacement. Once again, message from Boots is tough luck and F you. I can see from the reports on Trustpilot and other social media platforms that I am by no means alone with this experience. My advice - avoid Boots like the plague, particularly for large value items. They really don’t care.

“No order but several pending payments”

Tried to place an order for a Birthday present 5 times and have 4 pending transactions over 450£ that may take up to 28 DAYS to come back! I have other payments going out, and still not even got my order! Several phone calls yielded nothing. I have a disability and was told I should go to a local Boots store?! What is happening? This service is outrageous and unacceptable. I have made contact via email, phone and Facebook and have no resolution! Their system seems terribly flaud!
