I had two phones locked into Orange, a Miami and a new Sanfransisco. Another paid-for-company was unable to unlock the Miami. So with some nervouseness I tried Unlocks and within a few seconds the unlock code for the Miami was returned, and executed first time. With confidence in the Company I looked to unlock my 3 week old Sanfransisco. It took a bit longer to get the code but worked like a dream. Great service at an excellent price ... bearing in mind Orange would not unlock the Sanfran until 3 months had elapsed and then wanted £20.

Quick, easy, good instructions, worked to move my daughters a t-mobile vairy touch II to Vodafone (we can get NO t-mobile reception and we in Virginia Water, half a mile from the M25). T-Mobile would not unlock it for 3 months!

I have been using Unlocks.Co.Uk for many years and, to be perfectly honest, I would never consider using any other online unlock code service.

I first came across this company back in 2005 when I was running my own mobile phone store. Although I had the ability to unlock most phones, there were some models that could only be unlocked by code so I needed a reliable supplier. At the time, this was the only online service that claimed to have the ability to supply an unlock code for the particular phone I wanted to unlock. I found this strange and contacted the company for confirmation. Within minutes I received a reply from Derek (the owner of Unlocks.Co.Uk) who confirmed that they could indeed supply an unlock code for the phone. Derek explained that he understood my caution and offered to give me the unlock code on a 'Trust' basis - in other words if the unlock code worked, I would pay. I received the code within minutes, successfully unlocked the phone and promptly made the appropriate payment!

The customer service I have experienced with this company has been outstanding over the years. I have successfully unlocked hundreds of phones with Unlocks.Co.Uk. I can recall only 2-3 occasions when I have encountered problems with an unlock code supplied by this company - on each occasion they have provided a speedy and satisfactory resolution.

I know this review sounds very biased because I have never used any other online unlock code service. I'm sure there are many more services just like this one that provide genuine working unlock codes and excellent customer service, however I am a firm believer in 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'.

I bought an Alcatel VM621i from Tesco for £10 and added a cheap memory card to use it as a snapshot camera on holiday; it was very useful, very portable, so-so quality. Then I wanted to use it as a spare phone. Virgin wanted £15 to unlock it and said it could take up to a week and the instructions would arrive by post. Within a couple of hours of UK opening time I got an e-mail. I had the phone unlocked inside 5 minutes following the clear instructions. Overall very happy with the service.

I wanted to unlock my Nokia 6230 so that I could use a pre-pay sim card from a different network on weekends. I contacted my network and they told me they could provide codes for £25.00. Not happy with this I scoured the internet and came across http://www.unlocks.co.uk. They claimed to be able to provide codes to unlock Nokia phones for only £4.50. Under normal circumstances I use the roaming feature with my UK network when outside the UK. As most will already know, the roaming charges imposed by the UK networks are very high. When I was on holiday in Spain earlier this month, I purchased a Spanish pre-pay sim card and used that in my Nokia 6230 hence avoiding the roaming carges and saving me a lot of money.
