I joined Just IT around Spring time. Paid everything in advance. Its recruitment team is not good. Very little career support. Its learning is online based and self learn so waste of money to nearly pay around £3500 for self learn. When started, I have been told "more jobs than people". When joined, had only one call about one opportunity and I already completed my profile as well. Rubbish!

It was recommended by a friend who went through a few of those IT course companies, "JustIT is the best out there and if I knew I would have gone there first" was what he said to me. At my first visit I saw Francis, we talked about my experiences with IT (as an hobby) and what was my objective. I left their office with a clear plan then a few months later I registered. The first 2 weeks are for CompTIA+ and a bit of soft skills, the course content was good and the teacher was great, very helpful, approachable and the group I was in had a very good synergy. 4 weeks later we went back for the second 2 weeks of study (win7 and server 2008) with another person this time. Again the teaching was great and we started working on soft skills with recruitment team. By the end of the 2 weeks most of the group had found a work placement. I got to learn a lot and apply my knowledge during the placement. Now about the job searching aspect of the course, JustIT may provides you with job interviews with some of their partners but in most cases you will have to look for your own interviews. What JustIT career support team will do is coaching you on interviews techniques, improving your weakness and all the necessary soft skills needed to impress recruiters and get a job. So you will have to do the legwork but you won't be running like a headless chicken if you listen to the support team, they are here to help and the MD will step-up if needed. I would like to add that I had some personal problems and that the team was very understanding and supportive. I now work for an ISP for financial markets thanks to the coaching and training provided by JustIT. I want to emphasise that you have to work to succeed, JustIT will provide you with the course material, the knowledge, the support but if you are not willing to work for it nothing will happen. I hope this review was helpful, Ludovic.

best decision ever made I've always had a huge passionate to IT, however I've never thought that I'll be working as an IT professional. My colleague mentioned about Just IT one day that maybe it is a solution for me. A bit expensive at the beginning, but why not I said. I didn't finish any IT related schools before. I've started my course 'The Network Professional Programme' in June 2013 and have passed 4 certifications (2x Comptia A+, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 AD Configuration) just after 5 months. I did additional exam Windows Exchange 2010 in a mean time. When I finished my technical preparation I was practising my soft skills. They are even more necessary to secure a job on a interview then technical skills. I spend 5-6 months doing this. Working with recruitment team in Just IT it's not only few sophisticated techniques you can learn, but it can change how you think about yourself and the other people. Now after securing my 1st line support job as an IT Engineer can only say that my hard work and plenty of advices form Just IT people have created my brighter future. Thank YOU JustIT.

Having just graduated, I was finding it very difficult to get a career in I.T. After doing some research I decided to do the NPP courses at JustIT. Having just a degree was not enough for you to secure a job anymore but having a recognized CompTIA and Microsoft certifications alongside with the career support helped me secure my first IT job. At the beginning I was not very keen on joining the courses but after doing the courses I have learned so much in a short amount of time. Because the courses were fast tracked I was able to complete and pass my CompTIA exam within 4 weeks, yet if I had done this on my own it would have taken much longer. The trainers there are fantastic; they have a very easy way of breaking difficult topics into smaller and easier chucks which makes it easy to digest the information. 99% of people who were in my class had passed there CompTIA first time and 92% of who had passed Windows 7 first time. During exam revisions the trainers were very helpful we were given a practice test in which we were able to prepare yourself for the real test, which was very similar and was a real confidence booster. We also had online classes after the classes had finished, this was very helpful as it gave me and everyone else a chance to catch up on any last minute revision and everyone could ask questions and we were able to learn from one another. After completing my CompTIA I was sent on work placement within 4 weeks, which was 6 weeks long. Once completing this I was then sent on a Windows 7 Roll out project, this was a great project to get involved in as this open my mind into the world of contracting, and how things work there. After completing this contract, 3 weeks before ending I was sent for a permanent job interview which I ended up securing, thanks to the interview techniques from the career support. The requirement team were also fantastic and helpful who are always on the lookout for jobs and opportunities. Overall at the beginning I found it hard to believe a job guarantee at the end of the course, but it landed me my first job as an IT support Analyst. JustIT has all the major contacts and link which will help you get into IT. They also have payment plans in which you can pay back once you start earning, which was one of the reasons why I went for JustIT as it was an affordable way of paying. I recommend anyone who is having difficulties getting their first IT job or who want to get there foot in the door, JustIT is the best way of getting in.

I was making a career move from recruitment and knew that it would be difficult to find an entry level position without any prior industry experience or qualifications. Just IT helped me get the qualifications I needed and also provided me with the right interviews and job opportunities for me to get into my first role in IT. I'm now in a entry level position with a great company that will be a great starting point in my IT career. Just IT is a great company with friendly staff who guide you through each step from getting qualifications to actually going to interviews for your first IT role. If you're thinking of getting into a career in IT but are worried about not having the qualifications or contacts then Just IT are the perfect solution.

JUST IT – FANTASTIC COMPANY, GREAT PEOPLE AND A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION! After graduating from university I was struggling to find any jobs due to a lack of experience. However, I came across Just IT and was intrigued about their £18-25k job guarantee (or your money back). I had a discussion with a Just IT consultant and was highly impressed. After signing on their home blended learning scheme last year I haven’t looked back since and it has been one of the best decisions I have made about my career. Being on the course motivated me to kick start my career in IT as soon as possible, and the help I received from the career support and recruitment team was exceptional. Once I had passed the relevant exams I was given the opportunity to attend numerous interviews. As a result I have recently secured a permanent role with an international organisation. I would highly recommend Just IT to anyone wanting to kick start their career in IT. They offer an exceptional service whilst providing you with the training and contacts to break into the IT industry. Jameel

I joined Just IT Network Professional Program near the end of September, the teaching and career support was extremely good and professional. Although it took me a while to find a job, it pays to be persistent as I will be earning above the 18-25k norm. I'd like to thank the teaching staff especially as they were brilliant people to work with and down to earth. PS: If you're going to join, be prepared to step outside your comfort zone :P.

How long have it taken you to find a job after your complete the course? Is it true that JustIT guarantee to find you a job or give you the money back?
Written on: 12/04/2014
For me it was 2 months of training, 6 weeks of work experience (paid travel) in which JustIT put me in and another month of job searching with a lot of interviews before I secured my first job. Keep in mind that other people in my class got jobs straight after the training. For your final question, it is true if you pass all of the exams.

Just IT helped me gain my CompTIA A+ and Windows 7 MCITP qualifications. These qualifications are vital in securing employment an IT support job. Thanks to Just It, I have gained my first IT support role at an IT company based in Derby. It's great to learn on my own, at home, in my own time while I was employed at Wickes part time. Having monthly online support webinars helped me progress with my learning and the tutors really helped in understanding some of the modules. If you are looking to start a career in IT support, then look no further than Just IT!

I was struggling with job search... Then I came across with JustIT. First meeting with representative of the company was exciting with a lot of information, but at the end my excitement was cooled down by a price. I was deciding for more than a month... Now I know that every penny I have spent for this course is worth it! I've met some amazing people who helped me to develop my presentation skills, improved my CV and taught me to sell myself on the job market. Education system is demanding, but if you are committed to get into IT, this is definitely a way. Now I have a great job thanks to them and finally gaining experience in field I like the most! They know what they are doing and they are doing it in great way!

Having felt unchallenged and empty in my former career path , I decided a change was necessary . I looked up JustIT and started out on a new path . It was as I expected and it didn't disappoint. The training was adapted to my needs and I was placed into work within 4 weeks of starting my placement. I would recommend anyone looking for a job in IT to invest in JustIT. - S.A

Went to JustIT and loved it at the start, the trainers were fantastic and their teaching methods were great, don't get me wrong you meet some really nice people there both working and studying towards their qualifications. However there 18-25 k job guarantee is a joke!!! as soon as I finished there I got shifted into a minimum wage job (they did't offer anything else so was forced to take it 2 months after completing the course. A lot of what it involves is self study (save yourself the £5000) you're better off self studying and applying for jobs by yourself!

This comment is from Simon Perriton. I am the owner and founder of Just IT. Since we saw your comment we have contacted all the people who are working on the contract you are on, to review if everyone is benefitting from it. Many are, but as I said when you first started the course and I gave you my business card, you need to feel you can call me on my mobile, if anything goes wrong and you don't feel you are getting the support you need. It’s great that you loved the training and trainers, but the contract you are in is a stepping stone towards a higher salary. You should be building your experience and confidence in IT and this will lead to a new job soon which will be paid more. I would encourage you to contact myself or Toyin about your situation straight away, so we can support you. The course is not over yet! Perhaps when you have been through the whole programme you could comment on this web site again. Thanks. Simon

This comment is from Simon Perriton. I am the owner and founder of Just IT. Following my last comment which encouraged you to contact myself or Toyin the Career Support Manager, I am sad that you have yet to do so. This review is a request for help in my view. People who are looking at the review centre web site to see what my company is like, can see that the vast majority of people are happy with the service we provide. So please take my advice and contact me - you don't need to feel cheated - you need to feel supported. You have paid for my personal support as well as my teams advice. I don't know what else we can do to support you, as we don't know who you are... But the salary you should be on now is £18-25K. Are you? If not contact me.

After serving in the RN for 6 years as an aircraft technician I'd decided on a change and IT was the direction I settled on. After a fair amount of research I settled on JustIT's Network Professional Programme as a training provider. I had quite limited knowledge of IT especially the seemingly hundreds of qualifications out there and had no idea which ones employers were actually looking for. JustIT's selected qualifications are tailored to get you a foot in the door. I started the distance learning in February 2013 and passed both CompTIA exams by May and the windows 7 exam by July. I started 8 weeks work experience in August at a major media company working with the 2nd line deskside team. This was by far the most valuable part of the programme. This is what gets you that foot in the door to the industry. In the last week of the placement I secured a first line job at another media company starting the following week. A position I would never have got had I not had the experience of my placement. A month after working in my first role the company I had my placement with offered me a job back with the deskside team. So a promotion and payrise after a month of working in the industry! 3 months on its going well. You could do the courses elsewhere or just by yourself for less money but it's the placement and the contacts that you get with JustIT that are worth the money. Like most things in life you'll only get out what you put in so as long as you study hard and dig out on your work placement you should have no problem finding a job at the end of it. JustIT aren't perfect but all in all I believe they are well worth the money and would definitely recommend them to kick start your IT career. Especially to other service leavers. You can use your ELCAS credits too. I Bailey

My Experiences at Just IT has been nothing but a professional and supportive one. After Completing my Computer Science degree at university, I struggled to get my foot in the door in the wonderful world of IT having no required experience to make a start in my ambition. I was contacted by Just IT and asked if I would like to join the Blended Learning course which allowed me to study in my own time to tackle and pass relevant certificates(A+ and Windows 7). I attended two very useful Career day sessions where I had an opportunity to develop and practice my interview techniques which then led on to the provision of a work placement where I could put the skills I learned from the certificates into practice. Through out the whole process I had support via email, over the phone and the freedom to book and see Career Support staff within reasonable time. Monthly Webinar's and access to the Virtual Learning Environment played a key part in my success as I have just been offered my First IT role as a Junior Help-desk Technician at Quintessentially. I would recommend JUST IT to anyone who is passionate about getting a role in IT Many Thanks to all at JUST IT Best Wishes Kwame Safo

JustIT was the perfect place for someone like myself, who has skills in IT but is finding it difficult to find employment even for beginner roles such as IT support. At JustIT I was able to improve my skills through the CompTIA A+, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 training. As soon as I had passed the CompTIA A+ exams and before I has finished the Windows 7 classes (Week 7) I was already getting interviews for a job placement. I got a placement with expertIT, an IT Support company that maintains/installs the IT resources for small companies and residential clients. During week 3 of my placement I was offered an IT Support role at EAT where I was already working in the weekends as a customer service assistant and I had to leave the placement position my current employer (EAT) required me to start ASAP. I am now an IT Support Assistant at EAT, granted the job interview was not arranged by JustIT, it was arranged by myself as I was lucky that there was an opening in the IT department at EAT. The Network Professional Program is for someone that already has a good foundation in IT in terms of Software and Hardware troubleshooting skills. It will improve your skills however it is all down to hard work and dedication, as I had to reduce my hours from full-time to part-time work in the weekends as it would have not been possible to attend classes and get prepared for exams. To put it simply JustIT gave me the right training in IT and interview skills which helped me land my current job as IT Support Assistant and I would wholeheartedly recommend JustIT to anyone who is in a position like I was in myself. All the best to you all!

A lot of people think once you're in a profession, that it's hard to change to another one. I used to believe that too! Just IT showed me it's not hard at all, they have fantastic employees that are dedicated in teaching you the fundamental aspects of IT and a career/recruitment team that help you as you progress in your IT career. Changing from a profession you have been in for 12 years, like myself, to another one is a big step, and I see no one better than Just IT to take that step with! You won't regret it. Thanks guys!

This post is from Simon Perriton the founder of Just IT. Thanks for your comments. I am sorry that you feel as you do.
I don’t know who you are so can't contact you. I need to be reassured that you are actually a candidate, rather than a competitor. You have not been in contact with me and I don’t know why that is. If you have a problem I am here for you.
On the career support side;
Have you been speaking / meeting with your career support consultant?
Have you been using the Virtual Learning Environment?
Have you been attending the monthly career support sessions?
Have to been attending the career support days with the recruitment team?
Also the course as you will know is not just on-line, rather a ‘blended learning’ programme. So have you;
Been speaking or meeting with the trainers if you got stuck?
Attending the monthly technical support sessions?
If you have passed the A+ and Windows 7 exams and have done a work placement then you should be getting 5-10 calls per week from recruitment consultants. So you may not be following the right approach here.
Either way rather than just putting some information on line, give me a call this week please and we can talk things through.
Simon Perriton

I have been attending the career support sessions and the recruitment team sessions. I think the course asks a lot from a junior person. It expects you to develop code at a high standard so that someone can get you a job. If I am a senior developer,why would I need JustIT????

This is a response from Simon Perriton the founder of Just IT Training.
Thanks for your feedback Robin. Its good that you are coming to the career support and recruitment sessions, but have you been talking to the trainers to explain how you are doing? If you call your career support consultant then explain your issue they can link you to a one to one session with the trainers - we are here to help!.
Any issues call me.
Thanks
