The customer service attitude was one where the T&C s state no refund after card entry has been made. My point was that I was getting error messages and no booking confirmation. They are adamant about the T&C and don't seem to comprehend the problem at all. The T&C is no compensation and so once booked you're hooked.
To top it all the help desk number is a premium rate number.

Their online and printed documentation said that I needed a credit card, but I was not told that it needed to be in the name of the driver. I was not allowed to pick up the car, and despite an expensive 60p per minute phone call to Easy Car rental, I was not refunded any money. There is a place on their website which states that the credit card needs to be in the drivers name, but you have to hunt for it. Why would they leave such important wording out of the printed contract?

A complete lose-lose situation. I didn't get a rental car and I lost £100.00.

We got an upgrade with Easy car Rental for free, which was a class E Car, and we were given a Ford Focus with air conditioning.

The paperwork and delivery of the car took place right at the airport, and we were gone in 10 minutes. Also, the online broker Algarve Rental were very helpful, and we got the confirmation of our rental instantly.

We got no car from Easycar Rental in Olbia due to a mix up in paperwork between the agent and Easycar. And I can get no reply from the agent Economycar Rentals.
Does anyone know who I can contact to get my money back. Please leave a comment if so.

We booked car hire through Economy Car Rental, who placed our order with a company called Airauto. When we arrived at Faro airport there was no one to greet us as stated on the confirmation, and there was nobody at the Airauto stand, which we eventually found. I tried telephoning the helpline numbers given on the confirmation, to be told they were unavailable. We waited 35 minutes and then we booked a car through Avis. On returning home numerous emails were sent, but Airauto and Economy Car Rental were just not interested.

“Booked a group 4 car from their website, and it said...”

Booked a group 4 car from their website, and it said it would carry 4 adults and 4 cases, so I booked an Astra, Focus or similar. They only had a Renault Modus as their group 4 car on arrival at Faro, an it wouldn't even carry 2 of our cases, so we had to change to a cheaper group car (Clio), which was a big squeeze with 2 adults and 2 children. I am still awaiting a refund.

Customer service is terrible shocking from both Economy Car Rental and their representatives at Faro.

If you want to make a complaint with Easy Car Rental you have to use their Premium rate number. Online you can complain, or, as in my case, try to ask about an incorrect billing, and you will just get an automatic reply.

I hired a super mini from Easy Car Rental for three weeks whilst waiting for a new car to be delivered...

I was utterly dissapointed with the 'service' I received My main gripes include;

Premium rate customer service line call centre on which the operators try to keep you talking as long as possible

The call centre is clearly outsourced outside the UK and hence have an awful grasp of english and hire site knowledge

If you wish to return your car early you will receive no refund and in fact the staff on the line were quite rude about this

The customer service line is consistently unavailable

Once they've got your money you deal fully with the rental agent and they take no responsibility and show no interest in any issues/problems you may have.

And as it is only very marginally cheaper than hiring direct for an appalling service I'd recommend ringing round and haggling for a good deal!

hi they would not pay me back so I would never book a car through them again easy car just pass the complaint into the nearest bin awefull company
