“Blocked sewerage drain”

Reported a problem with a blocked sewerage drain in the Penkhull area, the reporting were very helpful and supportive. Team came the next morning but unfortunately could not resolve the issue due to limited equipment but then arranged for a further team to come along and effected a repair. Excellent job well done

Lucky you , can't say I had the same experience 14 days of sewage over my garden and every time I phoned they were very helpful and apologetic promised me it would be sorted 14 days later...not impressed

“blocked road and no water”

Totally useless: The road closed signs say it will be closed between Feb 28th and March 3rd. Sad that i have to get all the way to the closure on March 6th and find it closed! Also hilarious helpful text for those without water being told to travel to Ashbourne (from Duffield) to pick up bottled water. Will road be closed again tomorrow? Who knows!

“compenation claim”

had the misfortune of having severn trent work directly in front of the entrance to my company,the problem started on the 18 november 2017 and finished around February 9th 2018,we had our entrance blocked on so many occasions for hours at times we had meetings with severn trent and was told we would be eligable for compensation having sent over 3 years accounts then 156 weekly figure accounts the person I dealt with has emailed saying we have to wait a further 26 week to review our forcast accounts,what a shambles untrustworthy company that mess small companys around please be aware not to be trusted

“Couldn't care less Terrible Terrible supplier.”

Not only don't this company do the work promised, but they don't even bother to turn up when promised or even phone when arranged. I have never come across such a disrespectful company as AMEY. I hope people like the two people I dealt with are treated with as much respect as they have me. How people keep their jobs nowadays beggars belief. I think this is reflective on the company they work for. Incompetence and ignorance seems to be an endemic problem with this company. After 3 weeks of complaining to Severn Trent about AMEY there is still no communication at all.

“Terrible”

Avoid avoid this company always do mistakes from there site when i moved in after 4 months they send me bill £399.00 pound for 3 months 2 adults and 1 child living in the house how can we use so much water also working full time i call them up they admitted it is there mistake and resend the bill £100.00 after 4 months i am receiving another bill £700.00 i was what £700 I am so angry and disappointed that i need to waist my time these company is rubbish.

“We received excellent service on Sewer problem”

I only made one phone call. Given 4 hour response for sewer leak into my building Call back afer an hour to say engineers will be in touch before arriving Engineers called Engineers arrived and cleared drains in 30 minutes Engineers booked drain survey That day got further call to ask if I was satisfied Two days later got call for further survey Two days later survey and booked in additional work required Three days later additional work carried out and sewer given ok Week later sent letter to apologise for leakage and credit 6mths charge FANTASTIC SERVICE EVEN WITHOUT CREDIT

We had a blocked shared drain this morning. I rang Severn Trent and one hour later two men had arrived and cleared and disinfected the drain. I received phone calls before they arrived telling me what time they would arrive and another one afterwards asking if everything was no OK. Great service. Thanks

“my sister in laws message ”

My sister in law from Birmingham has put this lovely message on her facebook page,thought I would share it with you all. I would just like to share this story with everyone. One day last week I had to cancel my moms seven Trent account the girl that I was speaking to she was that lovely I cried the care and the love that was coming from this girl was unbelievable. This afternoon my door bell rang when I went to the door there was a man standing there with the most Beautiful bouquet when I read the card it was from the person I dealt with at seven Trent water saying she was so sorry I had lost my mom she is a angle her family and her Manager at seven Trent must be very proud of her I hope someone who will read this will know her and tell her and I said she is very special and thank so much but I will be phoning seven Trent loads of love. “water debt”

I had recently recieved a debt bill from lowell group who purchase debts off severn trent. The debt was clearly from 2013 and never shown up on my experian credit report and i was not made aware of it untill i showed up at the new property i am currently renting. upset and unhappy becasue this bill came a WEEK before christmas and I've already calculated my outgoing and wasnt anticipiating anything else going out lowell group werent helpful at first untill i rang them a second time and a kind young man offered to help me sort this out and frustrated with severn trent becasue their lack of service i gave them a review of 0 at that point in my frustration. a young woman rang me back from severn trent offering a resolution and to find out what was going on and so she helped sort the debt and wiped away 20% of the debt and only pay up untill when i left the property. so thank you kind lady from severn trent and i promised i would write a glowing review about your service and i thank you for you time and patience with me. god bless have a merry christmas and a happy new year.

“Monopoly”

Their customer service has always been terrible since using them when i moved in, you have no choice but to use them because of the way the UK water systems are laid out. They have you by the neck and do not they know it. Again no letters to explain we were overdue and they had cancelled our direct debit, and then suddenly threatened with court after years of reliable payments. How it costs as much as it does to get water to my taps I will never understand, guess we just fund their shareholders pockets. Pro's - Water comes out the taps, no disruptions (Should think so too) Con's - Terrible customer service Not available at times when people dont work No choice but to use them Useless at contacting you about your account

“Customer service is rubbish”

9 months of ringing up seven Trent water to get them to agree they supply our property. Even went to their search team who said they did not supply it. Finally got hold of the last house owner who said they had the same trouble and they have it down on the wrong postcode on their system. Since several phone calls and they still have it listed incorrect. Left in April after ringing up and clearing the bill. This week get a county court claim letter for a small amount owing they had not calculated correct and £70 legal costs slapped on top. No bill no reminder. Rang today still wrong postcode and couldn't find us. Offered to pay what we owe less court legal costs. Would not accept that so told them we will appeal. Not paying for not knowing we owe them money and taking us to court without telling us. Bring it on bunch of incapable customer service agents!!

“deduction from my benefit”

I was behind with my payments and did try to make an arrangement to pay my debt off with an amount i could afford. Severn Trent turned my offer down and are now deducting just over £18 out of my benefit leaving me with just £82 to Live on. After paying bills im left with just £10 for food for 2 weeks.glad they can eat because i can't.

“Bully Boy Tactics”

I just received a call to say my bill was overdue by 4 weeks and could i pay immediately, i explained i was at work and my husband would pay as soon as i got home, the answer i got was "well i would hate for you to get court action" i was furious and asked for him to see my previous payment record, which he agreed was good, i understand i am late paying but surely its not good customer service to threaten people with court action unless reminders have been sent etc, We have not seen a bill or reminder, but this apparently is not taken into consideration, they have the monopoly, no competition so where's the big demand for our money, do they need it for the next corporate day out !!!!

“threatening court”

I have been with severn trent water for many years & have always paid my bills on time with them so have never had any previous problems so i was extremely disgusted to find that instead of sending me a reminder for my bill was due they send me a disgusting letter threatening to take me to court if i don't pay up. I found this extremely offensive particularly as i have never been late paying before & only due to the fact i have had a lot of family issues to deal with did it slip my mind the bill was due in the first place. A simple reminder would have sufficed- disgraceful way to treat a loyal, honest customer severn trent should be ashamed of themselves

“Disgraceful Service Poor Value For Money”

It would appear that Customer Care" is non existent. Duty of care to employees possibly? Poor/non existent. ST cultivates a blame culture and has dictatorial management style. Automated answering machine. Totally "not fit for purpose". Well what can I say? There is not much positive to say? Accept a few "loyal employees" seem to keep the ship afloat. If by a miracle. God Bless the few good souls who deliver a service in spite of the management. All my comments are subjective I maybe incorrect? Please feel free to undertake your own survey

The water had completely stop. Rang Severn Trent water and the lady on the phone was ever so helpful. They gave constant updates which was great and the issue was resolved within 2.5 hours from the time of the call. They sent their engineer who was knowledgable and offered great service dispute it being past 11pm
