In July 2015 I applied for an unsecured loan for the unemployed of £3,500 through the website of Britt Finance. I was called back by the Loans Manager of Ur Online Lender. He spoke with an Indian accent and used an English sounding name. He said I could have the loan immediately if I paid a fee of £81. I did this and then he rang me back and said I would have to pay a further £129 in 'government tax'. Becoming suspicious I refused and then he called me back again and said I could have a refund if I paid £49. I refused again. I reported all this to the UK police Action Fraud Team, the Financial Conduct Authority and the Mail on Sunday Financial Mail national newspaper. My bank investigated and told me the person's bank account I paid my money into was emptied and I cannot get my money back. I am very upset as I am on disability benefits and cannot afford to lose money like this. My advice from bitter personal experience is to stay well clear of Britt Finance and Ur Online Lender and any other loan companies who ask for an advance fee payment. They will just take your money and not give you a loan! I only wish I read this review before!

Received a call that I was approved for a $5000.00 loan, they required that I make a $150 deposit to an account that was non disclosed. When I further asked suspicious questions they eventually hung up and I got disconnected.

Got a phone call from a man from easyloans to say that are loan was approved for £15000 and give them all my bank account details and say to go to shop and get ukash vouchers for £98-£98-£99 for to cover the first month payment a.so we went to shop a got them and they phoned back in 10mins and asked for the 19 voucher code number what was on the three voucher so give them to a man who then says what the money be transferred into my bank account at 4.30pm so we checked out are bank account at 4.30pm and there was no money in my account. Then at 4.40pm got a call back from this man again from easyloans to say sorry your credit rating was to lower to do the transaction into my Account and that I would need to pay tax on the loan as credit rating was to low and need to go and get 4 ukash voucher's to add up to the value off £315. So at this time I become increasingly worried and checked them online learning what they where a company what was take in people,s money and you never got the loan put onto your bank. So good job that ukask got 2 off the first vouchers blocked so they couldn't get the money from me adding so they only have got £98 from me and not the intended £295. So have reported this company easyloans to actionfraud team and to the police. So if anyone ever get a call from easyloan don't give them any bank account details and no money as you will not get your loan and they will have got money from you and you never hear again from them.

DO NOT GO WITH THESE PEOPLE. They will tell you all the bull, then right at the end say you need to pay money to get the loan. Which as you can see from the other reviews, probably won't arrive. Luckily I told them where to go.

They offer you the loan in full providing you pay the first payment upfront to supposedly confirm your details then they try to get more money out of you to cover a made up tax payment then you don't get a penny. All Indian they can barely speak English yet have English names such as John Parker and they prey on the many people that are in desperate need of help. If they try and get you take the time to report them to the fraud squad. I did

So wish I had read these reviews earlier. Gave a payment of £110 to be told next day I had to make a tax payment of £154, said no wanted to cancel the loan, which I never received. They call you constantly to get you to take the loan, they do not answer any straightforward questions. They have a terrible phone line so you can't actually make out what they are saying. Won't give you anything in writing if you ask. Have denied getting a payment from me but I will not be letting this lie. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE. Had a bad feeling about this all along, wish I had listen to my gut instinct!

I had apparently got a loan from Easy Step Finance who asked me to pay £140 into an account which I did. When they asked me to pay a further £100 I declined and cancelled the loan. I still have not been able to get my £140 back and I found that the account that I paid the money into was a personal account and not a business account.

After parting with £157 for first month payment an then £199 tax they wanted £254 transfer fee as my friend was desperate she went with this company and was left with nothing.they are breaking the law!! They want it transferred into a personal account an think there is no come back!! They are not in a call centre an ask for no data protection. The manager you talk to tells you to shut up an listen as he lies an promises you the earth!! Only to leave you penniless. The bank has advised my friend to contact the police on this matter and I urge everyone else to do the same.

i wish i looked at the reviews first they told me to go to the shop and get a ukash voucher for £80 then had the cheeck to ask for money before they payed out my loan. it clicked i hanged up and checked for reveiws thanks to this site i nearly gave them more money.im so mad with them people how can they do that.they should be locked up and through away the key... dont think i will see my money back. but i will try my hardest to take these people to court and take every penny i can from them. i really fell for those who gave them more money than what i did.

They asked me for £336 upfront on a £4000 loan, I asked to see the credit agreement, As soon as i noticed spelling mistakes i done some checks and read reviews so they wont be scamming me, By the way you all can ask for there company registration number and type it in Companies check to see if they are legitimate in England and wales, When they ring back in a while to see if they have ripped me off i will of course show them the strength of foul language
