It is a shame I could not give Negative STARS..... I spent over £1,000 on a laptop for work. They sold me a second hand ex-demo laptop which, I now realise, is faulty and as cost me one contract valued at around £6,000 - they don't care. Their customer service set up is worthless as they don't understand what you ask for, then they point you towards a store - so they may as well, not exist! The managers in store don't care. They just point you in a different direction. I WILL NEVER SHOP FROM THEM AGAIN I WOULD RATHER NAIL PART OF MY ANATOMY TO A TRAIN THEN BLOW A WHISTLE The second they have your money..... They don't care.

They sent my granddaughters laptop off for repair, they'd texted to say it was being delivered back to our home after 2 weeks did not turn up after ringing them they informed me that it was lost . After trying to find it was told sorry can't find it have to give you a voucher to replace it . Not good at all seeing as it had 2 years of personal photos and school work on it I would not use PC World again How does a laptop get lost in the system?

I bought an ultrabook from my local PCworld about a year ago and got an amazing (mnager discount deal) Samsung Series 5... Lovely to look at and very light! Had need to use their customer service and they were very helpful and fixed the problem in no time :)

I have recently visited the worcester store in search of my new tablet, I was very disapointed with the level of service as there seemed to be more staff than customers but still i waited around 10 minutes before i realised i was never going to get approached by the sales team. Rather reluctantly i headed over to the till to ask about one tablet in particular, the chap at the till didn't seem very happy that i was even asking him about it. They didn't have any of the tablet i was enquiring about left in stock so he advised me to go home and order the tablet on line and that it was available for next day delivery. I thought it was quite rude as he didn't seem to care or try to offer any alternative what so ever. I then orderd my tablet on line which was fine, only to receive an email 5 minutes later that i couldn't have next day delivery as they didn't have any in stock. Panicicked that i may not be able to have the tablet i had my heart set on i rang customer services and they re-assured they will definatley be recieving more stock and that one will get sent out to me straight away. Both relieved and excited and i started choosing cases for my new tablet i decided on one and it's being deleiverd tomorrow. Only then to my amazement i received an e-mail today explaining that they are not recieving any more stock. They then asked if i would like to swap it for a simular produt with the same price band. I said you have got to be joking the service is absolutly appauling from start to finish. I requested a full refund and asked them wether they were going to re-inburse me for the case i wasted time and money for only for them to tell me there was nothing they could do. What an absolute joke. I will never step inside another PC world as long as i live and neither should you.

I was very impressed with the service given by the staff, both were very personable, polite a true asset to your company ...explained all I needed to know through sales to checkout .... And I must add smiled through it all even an awkward customer like myself asking loads of questions, they were brilliant ......pity more staff in other stores were more like them.

Went to the Middlesbrough store to buy a Lenovo tablet. Sales assistant told me I had to order it online. When I said I'd bought one from the Stockton branch 6 wks ago he just shrugged and said if you want one you have to go on line or we can order it.for you. Went to the Stockton branch got told its end of line you have to go online and order it. When I enquired about the display one and offered to pay full price for it got a sorry you'll have to order online. If I had to go on-line I'd have used Amazon. Sales assistant couldn't have cared less. Well PC World you've lost a customer for good

I brought a printer online and had it delivered to my near store it was so easy and the service was excellent, although when I came to set it up I had a cable missing so I went back to the shop and the chap who served me was Brilliant he explained to me how everything worked and that the cable did not come with this model but he sorted it all out for me... I have to say he was 10/10

PC World Lion Retail Park Woking; The manager of this store Naz is not only rude and dismissive to customers he had caused the company to loose my businesses trade account with his poor service attitude, I visited to return a defective product and he bluntly told me it was damage due to wear and tear! A real copout.. In the end I got a full refund only because I used social media to bring this complaint, my advice to anybody is AVOID this store and the Manager NAZ if you want good service. The Salisbury store is the same, After being advise wrongly by them to purchase a western digital backup unit for an imac, only to find that it wasn't compatible to iMacs, I returned it but they refused to take any responsibility for their mistake, I have now put it in the hands of trading standards

Purchased Samsung smart TV from Chelmsford store. Chose delivery option because they would take away and recycle old TV. Told them about size of Tv that on second floor and that would need two persons. The salesman wrote all this down and said they would send a two man team. Waited the 10 days for delivery.. sent one man because it was a flat screen TV and only needed one person to lift it. I pointed out the detail on my receipt delivery guy was unable to help. So phoned customer support told because the TV was now delivered they would not come out and pick up old TV! I then went to store in the town saw a manager who gave me his personal guarantee that he could deal with the situation and phone me later that day. 5 days have passed - no contact. My advice is pick up from store yourself and arrange your own disposal. Delivery is useless can only guarantee a 4 hour slot and only that on the day; they say they call when 30mins away... guess what ..they do not! very poor service and even worse follow up by customer services/ management.

The Acer Aspire V5-122P is so slow, windows 8 not fit for purpose. The salesman offered to set up the lap top, great then he told me It would cost £30.00. I asked if he was on commission only, he said no (then why was he charging to set up the machine). PS. do not get talked into buying internet security, most modern lap tops have windows Defender built in.

I went to your Liberty Stadium store with my lady on Sunday afternoon in order to purchase a camera I'd seen in one of your adverts.I also wanted some advice on buying a new printer which had to meet certain specificatios I approached your staff member Tristian who, although the camera I wanted was not on display, tracked one down and gave me some staunch advice on a suitable printer--which will fit on my desk and meets all the specifications I required I was most impressed with his patience, effiiciency and product knowledge---I bought the camera and will be along shortly to buy the printer Peter---a very satisfied customer

I looking new PC desktop gaming way too high prices still not cheap can't afford, I saw PC spec weak & high price not good enough. I check palicomp vs pcworld both same PC spec Core i7-4770, 8Gb RAM, 1Tb HDD, 128Gb SSD, GTX 660 both different prices. PCworld - £999.99 palicomp - £794.99 almost £204 saved I choose spec removed SSD will cut down to £704.99 big saved money I think PCworld is worse shop & prices too expenive & spec stuck like a glue sticky can't configure PC like choose CPU or RAM or graphic card or HDD. ACER Predator G3-605 Gaming core i5-4430, 8Gb RAM, 1Tb HDD, GTX 645 cost £699.99 shocked what a rip off! way too high price not good graphic card bit weak but confused GTX 645 or GT 645. I configure PC on palicomp same i5-4430, 8Gb RAM, 1Tb HDD, don't have GTX 645 I choose GTX 560 cost £519.99 is cheaper & powerful graphic card. Avoid PCworld too high prices & cheated & can't afford buy. Go to Palicomp online anything configure & buy good under £800 i7-4770 + GTX 660 or under £600 i5-4430 + GTX 660 :-)

Having use the click and collect service before I thought buying my nexus 7 would be easy! - not when its close to Christmas! I got directed to the back of the store where I was told three times to sit down and wait (for the hard sell) insurance policy's etc. Only when I expressed my deep deep anger and frustration was I 'allowed ' to have my nexus. There was hardly anyone in the store ....apart from bored salesmen! But still they made me wait, to add insult one guy even walked past me and 'hid 'my nexus behind a door until I had been given the hard sell?? Shocking tackticks ..... be very awair!!

Hi I could not get into your win £500 site, but the only reason I tried was to commend a staff member at your branch 4889 PCW NEWPORT IOW. receipt:028840 on the 15/10/2013. I went into your shop, straight to the help desk, spoke with a gentleman named Jonathon, told him I needed to put some photographs onto a usb device so I could give them to a consultant at St Mary's Hospital, so as he could use them for during his lectures (my husband is suffering from a hard to diagnose skin infection)and being a silver surfer novice, i didn,t know where to begin, well Jonathon, took control and I purchased usb and Jonathon, went I am sure beyond his job description, and actually put photo's on it for me, of course I thanked him, and I was able to take the usb straight back to hospital, and they where going to make sure Dr O Aziz got them, so in fact Jonathon may have helped many more people than we realise. So PC world a pat on the back for you having such helpful members of staff, and please once again thank Jonathon. Best Regards Product name:SANDISK CRZR EDGE 8GB Time:13:01
