I am a nervous passenger !!! Staff really friendly and soon put me at ease!! Where posible will only fly with Lufthansa. Food is adequate. Highly recommend to travellers. Have flown 6 times with them and look forrward to further flights.

Just wonderful. I think Luftansa is the only european airline that can challenge Singapore airlines and the middle east carriers like Emirates/Etihad. Their flight attendants are among the best in the business, flights always on time.

“Less than stellar...perhaps a glider would have more room”

I must give kudos to a wonderful flight staff, the attendants are great, but the reservation staff online was horrible...so was the supervisor I asked to speak to. As for room in economy class you'd have more room with two people riding the kiddy airplane ride at the carnival! A wonderful flight staff doesn't make up for lousy room, and rude phone attendants. My hubby said this was a great airline! I paid extra for our trip. Maybe it was great 30 years ago, but in the words of Meatloaf, "I want my money back" US to Europe and back on Lufthansa? never again!

What an amazing airline, much better than Emirates, Etihad and those malicious muzlim airlines. Top quality airline. Excellent food. Very generous with good-quality onboard freebies in economy class. Good rewards programme. Fast check-ins, flights on time. Flight attendants were charming and always smiling.

“The worst experience of my life!!!!”

The worst experience I have ever had in the 20 years if traveling by an airline company!! Lufthansa flight staff are arrogant and very small minded people!!! I will never and mean never fly with Lufthansa or recommend to anyone to fly and be treated like an animal when flying by Lufthansa!!!

Never flew Lufthansa airlines before. Would definitely fly again. Both outbound and inbound seats were downstairs (A340-600). Had bulkhead seats coming home. They were wonderful. Try to get bulkhead seats, if possible. The flight and ground crews were great. The only thing that I didn't like was the decent food, but everyone's taste is different. I would not let this keep me from flying again with Air Lufthansa. The inflight ententainment was of good quality and i could find a good variety of movies (not only action and mainstream films...). I liked the products available in the lavatories, moisturising and cleansing lotions. go lh

“Epic”

Took a round trip, long haul flight from IAD to FRA. Easy to book online and print out baggage stuff at the airport. Outbound, Plane left early, crew very pleasant. Good leg room but seats a bit narrow (probably cos my bu.m is not very narrow though!) They made you feel very special, in there caring ways. Inbound, a few minutes late, crew again pleasant enough. I thank them for their fine service. Good value for money and would use LH again.

“magnificent airline”

Yesterday, we had our initial round-trip with Lufthansa Airlines. I've heard only good stuff about the airline so i booked tickets from Frankfurt to Istanbul and back for me and my wifey. Both of us are really fascinated about the service, nice and always smiling staff and a very pleasant flight without problems. Also absolutely nothing to complain about the ground services. Overall a very competent airline. They offered free drinks! Flights were on time! nice

“The worst I've never had ”

This is the worst airline I have ever had to deal with first they don't put my luggage on my flight then it takes 6 days to even get a hold of anybody nobody calls back or answers the phones I still don't have my bags I will never ever fly again

“Constant delays”

Actually most of the times I like travelling with lufthansa, you can always find cheaper flights and good connections, although recently had a bad expirience travelling with them. My flights were two times delayed, that's why I wasn't able to get my last flight for my final destination Madrid. Had to wait over 7 hours till they got me on a plane. and of course my bag was lost and had to wait for arrival for more than a week. All in all, just guess wasn't lucky this time!

“Senator Class fails to deliver”

Lufthansa are very keen to promote their Frequent Flyer Program , Miles and More. The only problem is that once you have reecived your status you will have to wait a very long time to receive the card- without which you cannot make use of the benefits. It took 16 weeks for Lufthansa to deliver my silver card to my address in Hong Kong. Its now taking 9 weeks and counting to get the Gold card Sentator card. Trying to call the useless call centre in Asia gets little results apart from its not our problem blame it on the German Postal Service- really ? I wonder if Lufthansa would know of any form of carrier who could perhaps deliver ? My advice is to avoid their FF program. I would have liked to know this before I joined.

Senator class is equivalent to Gold on some other programmes , standard, silver, gold.

“Unable to cash refund”

No way to get your money back if you closed your puchasing card before the refund was issued. Lufthansa just not cooperating and not allowing any way around.

“Progressively Declining”

Over the years I have watched with sadness the continued decline in the quality of services being offered by this once top class airlines. Now it seems only the business and first class people can look forward to the high quality service that used to be a trademark of Lufthansa. I guess times are tough even for these people.

Satisfied. Right from the start from the online booking, online check in to flying it was all just so good, in fact I'm finding it so unbelievable myself that I'm writing such a review as I'm a fussy one to say the least! At the end of the day you just don't expect anything to go so well on all four flights do you these days? The cabin crew can't do enough for you, the meals are fine (if you want better go first class) my wife had the vegatarian food option which was excellent and she got service first as does anyone with special meal requirements. The airbus380 we had on one leg was new and just great, the others are showing signs of wear but so are the other airlines stock. Lufthansa is a great airline.

“Short haul business class sucks ”

Flew from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv, 4+ hours paid full business class. Got thinnest seat I have ever seen in any class with 10 cm recline, and discovered business class means they don't sell the middle seat. No entertainment unit of any kind. Crummy TV dinner style meal complete with aluminum top. One toilet for 48 passengers. Six seats across means tiny aisle with bumped elbows and no traffic during meal service. This is a total rip off. Never pay Lufthansa for business class unless across the Atlantic.

“I am so sad”

My Husband and I flew from Denver to Frankfurt on 9-10-2013 the crew,flight attends made every effort to make us feel comfortable, plenty refreshments always delivering with a smile or a friendly word. Not so on the return flight from Frankfurt to Denver on 9-25-2013, the flight attendants did not seem very friendly or concerned about making us feel good and looked after. The attitude was like the plane old and tired,what a shame. The name Lufthansa used to mean the best, bar none. I am so sad!!!
