They tried to deliver on Tuesday but had gone by the time I got to the door. They then took my item to a shop the other side of town and left it there. When I tried to collect it today, the shop refused to give it to me despite me having the UPS card with me. (They insisted on ID that I don't have). The shop said they are now sending the item back. Questions; 1 Why did UPS rush away so fast? 2. Why did they not leave it with a neighbour? 3. Why could they not have delivered it the next day? These are all options on the card! I have now lost my item and will have to wait god knows how long to get it. If Bosch use UPS then I will never use Bosch appliances again!

I have had the misfortune of buying from companies which use UPS as their delivery courier. UPS NEVER gives a time slot or window (why not, other couriers can do it) so I am expected to wait in all day. If I am out, the driver NEVER tries to deliver to one of my 26 neighbours (I live in a secure, gated development so there is absolutely no excuse not to try but this never happens). I end up having to go to a UPS delivery point so what is the point of putting in my home address. INCOMPETENT, USELESS, LAZY are some of the adjectives which spring to my mind when I think of this company.

Took the package to the UPS Access point to drop it off as per instructions. The people running the shop refused to accept it as they stated the UPS driver had already made his pickup, and they refused to accept the package on those grounds, despite them having plenty more parcels they had accepted waiting for pickup. I insisted they take the package as it was 14:50hrs, well within their business hours, but still they refused. I said I would complain to UPS over their refusal and their rudeness, and I was told "good, tell them that we don't want to accept their parcels anyway" This is totally ridiculous UPS are so bad that their own agent doesn't want their parcels and the customer is stuck in the middle holding a paid for package that UPS won't accept....they really are the pits

Ordered goods from Italy with UPS as courier. Good failed to arrive but shown on tracker as in depot. Called and spoke to a UPS customer service rep in Lithuania. Wasn't interested in my call, just told me to sort out with the goods supplier. Would have thought she could have called the depot but no couldn't be bothered. I eventually managed to find the depots phone number, they were great and told me the goods had never been shipped from Italy. Obtained full refund. Close your cheap option in Lithuania and pay the going rate for real workers.

I had one of those mail back medical tests. Instructions indicated UPS would pick it up & I could make arrangements online. Not true - despite pre-paid label UPS was going to charge me to pick it up. Website would not allow me to get pickup without printing out & paying for another mailing label. I resorted to calling the 800 number. Bigger mistake- she supplied addresses inside downtown office buildings. I explain I need an outdoor location, since I don’t want to have to find & pay for parking to get to a mailbox. She gives me an address that does not have a building. I call back the number & ask for a list of drop off locations which are quickly rattled off by a voice that seems heavily accented yet computerized & do not correspond to current businesses (I did recognize 1 that closed 5 or so years ago). I probably wasted 2 hours between the computer & phone - finally drove to a nearby town where I knew there was a UPS store. Staff there seemed very nice.

Dads meds from the VA were supposed to come today. It's Friday. They didn't come after getting an email saying they would. Now UPS is saying he has to wait till Monday and he'll run out tomorrow. Just a cluster.

They left a card saying they had tried to leave a parcel and they took it back as I was out saying I had to now collect it. Seems they expect you to stay in 24/7 waiting even though you have no idea when they are coming they don't tell you. They did not tell me they were coming, they gave me no time slot just lefty a sarcastic note. I contacted them and they told me that the card they left was proof of delivery, sorry, proof of delivery means you get it in your hand and you sign for it. Use this service at your own risk.

I gave 1 star only because you cant give no star. UPS accept any parcel, but if it gets damaged while in there care they will do anything to get out of paying for there BAD service. After more than 6 weeks of chasing them I have finally been told that my parcel was not wrapped to there rules, and yet I sent it from a UPS store in Florida where I went into detail of how it was wrapped and was told "yes that's ok, for safety I will stick warning labels on it" which he did, all over. And yet when my parcel arrived in the UK it was not just damaged but smashed. My advice DO NOT USE UPS, you will do better to send through the normal postal service.

Third or fourth bad experience of UPS. Unsure why companies continue to use them. Ordered basic roller blinds that needed to be here today. First UPS couldn't give me a delivery window other than 'by the end of the day' which is from 8am through until 9pm - are they seriously that poorly organised. Part of the parcel arrived this afternoon and I was told that the other parcel was on another van, and because the driver couldn't find my address!!!! he had returned it. Firstly why would you spilt a small delivery to the same address over two vans and secondly why can't you give a delivery window - even if only to say am or pm. DPD on the other hand delivered a package to me today within the 1 hour timeslot promised via a text sent to me last night. I think that before anything is bought on line companies should identify which delivery company they are using, or give their customers the option.

I had a glass pie oven delivered to me by Royal Mail, no problem, perfect condition. 2 Weeks later I sold the pie oven, I wrapped it well, covered in cardboard protection, filled with shredded paper and covered the glass doors with the internal metal shelves to protect them. I marked the parcel "GLASS WITH CARE" in numerous places and on ever side. I sent it UPS as it was the cheapest (my biggest mistake). The customer contacted me and told me the package arrived with major damage, obviously caused by the delivery people throwing it around. It's not worth the risk folks honestly. to save a couple of quid causes a whole load of problems, just DO NOT USE THEM. UPS obviously stands for U'r Parcel is Smashed.

Given the choice I would not use UPS again. I was given 3/5/19 as my delivery date and someone was home all day to ensure that it was not missed but it didn't arrive. I checked their website tracking and it stated that they attempted delivery which was false as my dogs bark it the door is knocked. Next delivery date was supposed to be 7/5/19 but still didn't arrive and I phoned customer services and was originally told that they attempted delivery but there was no reply which was again false so l asked to speak to the manager who phoned me an hour later. The manager said that it could not be delivered today as it was put on the wrong van. It is next due for delivery the next day. Their site states that I changed delivery date which was again false. On 8/5/19 at 12:15 I phoned customer services to find out when my parcel was going to arrive as I was told my the manager I spoke to said I would get a phone call to let me know. I was informed that my parcel is due to arrive at 12:30-13:30. It didn't arrive so my partner phoned at 13:35 on my behalf as my stress levels had risen. He was told that they couldn't give me a delivery time so he asked to speak to the supervisor who took an hour to phone back. My partner asked if he could claim compensation for all the inconvenience but as the sender was who their contract was with not us we needed to speak to them. My parcel was eventually delivered at 16:15, 5 days late. I have contacted the sender to see if they could claim compensation On our behalf.

UPS - absolutely THE WORST delivery company EVER!!!!! Timeline:- Tues 23 Apr 19 - UPS send me an email notifying me that I have a parcel coming. It included the tracking number and my full address including complete postcode. Thur 25 Apr 19 - UPS send another email stating that my parcel will be delivered on Fri 26 Apr 19, no approx time given. Fri 26 Apr 19 - I waited in all day but alas no delivery or ANY FORM OF COMMUNICATION from UPS. I track my parcel and find that apparently the "apartment number is either missing or incorrect". So I am expected to believe that after this parcel had been scanned 14 TIMES by UPS and was "out for delivery", it was only then noticed that the "apartment number is either missing or incorrect?" I live in a house by the way and UPS successfully delivered to my home on 18 March 2019 and it was sent by the same company!!!! UPS made absolutely no effort to contact the sender or me. Mon 29 Apr 19 - I phoned UPS and was told by a very rude woman that part of my postcode was missing, my parcel will delivered on Tues 30 Apr 19 before 11.30am, and then said goodbye and hung up. So thank you UPS for providing such a delightful delivery service, I can honestly say that it is one that I will find very hard to forget - for all the wrong reasons!!!

Arrived home yesterday to find a note on the doormat that UPS had tried to deliver a parcel and as they could not get a reply had taken it away and left it at a UPS Access Point at "70 Station Road". As we live in London that could be one of any number of Station Roads. As this was a first delivery attempt why hadn't they left it with a neighbour or leave a note to say they would try again. They didn't even bother to fill in the section stating when it would be available for collection. Fortunately on the UPS web site it listed the Access Points in our area so today I went to collect the parcel. If I wanted 'click and collect' delivery I would have asked for it though. Dreadful services - would not recommend.

Truck pulled into yard with engine off. Did not knock or announce self, hung my return slip on outer door, ran back to truck and sped off. Customer service says too bad you must now take your package to drop off center.

We live in a rural area that gets quite a bit of snow. We never know if we are receiving packages since they never knock on the door or ring the doorbell. The only way we know if a package has been delivered is if we keep checking the front porch. Had a return, due to wrong product from Amazon, and UPS was to pick it up. They were printing a label and bringing it to put on the box. We sat at home waiting for the driver to pick up the package that we kept inside due to concern of possible “porch pirates”. Happened to walk out front and noticed the label was left on our door. UPS driver never bothered knocking or ringing the doorbell to pick up the package. Not happy. What are we supposed to do? Just leave the package outside so if it gets stolen they can tell us we are responsible? Wish there were more options. FEDEX has been no better. Makes me want to drive the hour to pick up products myself at stores. Maybe these businesses make plenty of money and don’t need to perform good customer service anymore. Disappointed in the direction things appear to be going in now. Show some pride............

Once again, the UPS nightmare strikes. I ordered five items from Chapters Indigo and specifically requested they NOT use UPS but apparently, they cannot control which service is used. Two items arrived on time via Canada Post. The other three items? Apparently ‘hand-delivered’ to me by the driver last Thursday night at a time when I was not home but my husband was out de-icing our access road. Once again, UPS insists they are right and I am wrong. This is extremely frustrating. I’ve now had a half-dozen miserable experiences with UPS but no negative experiences to date with Canada Post or Purolator. (My first bad experience with UPS dates back several years when a UPS delivery person catapulted a Pampered Chef order over my fence and smashed the entire order.) If I had a choice, I would never use UPS. I’d fire the whole lot and go with Canada Post or Purolator every time! By the way, I live on an acreage which is only hard to find if you’re totally incapable of entering a municipal address on Google Maps. All 9 year olds are capable of such a search. Study up, UPS, and don’t hire lazy drivers who like to make up stories to cover their butts. Signed, Frustrated in Rural Canada

Ordered product from Microsoft. Delivery via UPS. Failed to deliver item to address - sent it to one of their Customer Access Points. What a joke! Refused to hand parcel as I have not complied with UPS T&C's for collect!!!!! I said - here is the email I received. It does not state the T&C's or requirements. Response (rude) tough. Should have ordered the product from Amazon!!! Result Microsoft lost a sale and a customer! Neither company seems to care. Avoid at all costs!

Tracked the parcel and it said they attempted delivery. They did not. Apparently, the parcel had been taken to a collection centre but no card advising me of this had been left. I arranged a redelivery, no UPS van, therefore no delivery! I had explained to the call centre I cannot get to the collection centre and to instruct the driver to leave my parcel with any of my neighbours. However, as no UPS van actually arrived, I am wondering about the integrity of the driver. The parcel was a gift for someone else and ordered in plenty of time. UPS is the worst courier company EVER!
