I was pleasantly surprised to find that Maybelline Great Lash mascara (at a snippet of the price of those by respected brands such as Dior and Lancome) gave fantastic results at a very reasonable price. It has a small yet effective brush which separates and lengthens lashes without clumping. My only criticism of the product itself would be the time it takes for it to dry, which is a little over average. The packaging, however, is a little tasteless (the non waterproof version being pink and lime green) and could be improved. Nevertheless, the mascara works wonders and would definitely be budget buy of the year in my books.

Despite hearing over and over that Maybelline Great Lash Mascara is somehow one of the greatest mascaras ever used by make-up artists and celebrities (who have the money to afford the BEST out there). It is one of the worst products I have ever used, it completely disappoints, frustrates and lets down. Its claim to fame is that it doesn't clump, and yet, I would define this product as a product that consistently, badly clumps. Seriously. This product is THE WORST make-up I have ever used, and I have used expensive and inexpensive.

I've tried a bunch of different mascaras, and Maybelline Great Lash Mascara is the only one that stays good almost to the end. Other mascaras get gross and thick and clumpy after about a week. I really like it.

I have used many brands of mascara ranging from expensive to cheap. I have decided this is my favourite mascara, and I buy it in "Blackest Black." I get compliments on my long lashes all the time, and the mascara neatly keeps my lashes divided and lengthened without clumping up for spider eyes. The mascara requires a slightly longer drying time than most, but its lasting power is worth it.

I have bought better mascaras than Maybelline Great Lash Mascara for £1! This mascara is the worst ever made. If you want thick hairy spiders' legs for eyelashes then this is the one for you. It looks freakily unnatural. I would not buy it if it cost one penny!

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara: I don't know why I ever stopped buying this mascara, I am always trying new ones that are introduced to shops and usually end up being disappointed!
I recently purchased this mascara in the new blackest black shade, which claims to have more ebony pigments to make lashes look very black and dramatic. I need to curl my lashes as they are poker straight. So I used my heated eyelash curlers and then tried the mascara.
I like my lashes to look false, and to get the 'false lash' effect with this particular mascara quite a few coats are needed. One or two coats for a nice natural look. With any other mascara I have used, they have always ended up clumping my lashes after a coule of coats and weighing them down which I hate! To my surprise I can build and build my lashes with this mascara and there are no clumps or globs in sight!! It does not weigh lashes down, it cleanly seperates them, and makes them absolutely gorgeous!

The best thing about this mascara is the price!! £4.99 for this little amazing pink and green tube! I have tried the waterproof one aswell (black lid) but I much prefer this one in blackest black. The waterproof one is hard to remove and doesn't seem to condition lashes like this one does. All in all this is a brill mascara at a fab price!

I have been using this fantastic mascara for 3 years and I can say it is the best one I have ever tried it is also great value for money too.
Would definitely recommend.
