I have just come back from a hoilday in bugarlia sunny beach. Hotel victoria palace. It should be a four star hotel but i wouldnt say so. Me and my wife went for 14 nights. We didnt have our bed linen charged once and our bath towels where only charged once and the size of them were like hand towels so it was clear to me they wasnt any normal bath sheets. Customer Service issued. Prebooked and Chose Seats last year - heard rumours that there was a problem with the Thomas Cook prebook seats when people were turning up for flights. “I would not recommend thomas cook to anyone,...”

I would not recommend thomas cook to anyone, especially if you are booking over the internet!

We tried to book flights with them online. When I had finished the booking process and entered my card details a notice appeared saying that the booking had failed and i was given a number to ring. I rang this number and was told that the flight wasn't available (even though it was shown online) and that they had charged me for this. The same has happened to me twice! I'm supposed to fly with my partner and son in 4 days time. I have spent all day on the phone. They have assured me that no payment has been made. I have assured them that my bank has confirmed that the money has been taken out. Four months ago the same happened and it took me 2 months to get my money back. I am now waiting for customer services to call me back. They have to do an investigation to check if they have been paid. I was offered to pay for the flights again at the increased rate!!! I am going to report them to ABTA.

I have booked flights with Thomas Cook and have been trying for 2 days to book exit seats as advertised. I couldn't get through on day one. I tried on line and couldn't book the seats as it kept deleting everything.I asked my agent to sort it and he couldn't get an answer or book online either.I tried ringing today at 9.00am. and was told office was shut. last aug 08 my son fell on a wet floor in the hotel changing rm and had to go to hospital and had stitches to his chin . hotel did not have a accidant form or wanted to record the incident and the rep just did not want to know i had to scream and shout .Eventually i was given a customer questioare to record the acciden.

Having booked through Thomas Cook for our holiday of 12 young girls I can honestly say it is a waste of time you may as well do it yourself on the websit as they pass the booking on to another company called flexi tours so you do not have a resort rep your transport is arranged with the Resort Hopper company and you have to check all your return details yourself. I have heard these stories about Thomas Cook customer services so many times
<br/>they really need to get that team on some courses on get another Manager in there to train them you cannot get throuugh on the phone and they do not responded to e.mail complaints in a world where you can book so easily yourself on the web they really need to raise the Bar if Thomas Cook want to stay in business.

Did the lions tour in South Africa with Thomas Cook Sport.
Didn't send out tickets/vouchers in time despite phone calls and emails.
Got names on tickets wrong, even after correction.
Didn't get seats together on the plane.
Stayed at two of the worst hotels I've ever seen, in very unsafe areas.
Tickets for games were in a bad location or had a severely restricted view.

A week before travelling I ordered some Euros through the Thomas Cook online reserve system. I opted to pick these up at my local branch (Wantage, Oxon)only to be told when I got to the shop that they had sold all the Euros including the ones I had reserved!

After recovering myself enough to ask to speak to the Manager, I was told that she had 'gone home for the afternoon'!

The easiest thing to do is ring the airport you are flying from and ask to be put through to the Thomas Cook desk.

“Thomas Cook are simply the worst airline I have ever...”

Thomas Cook are simply the worst airline I have ever flown with, and I have flown Aeroflot!!!!! (the company with the worst crash record in history and are the considered as one of the worst airlines in the world). Thomas Cook made them look like a private first class jet.

We had a total of 10 hours of delays on our trip to Turkey!! and the staff were so rude about it, not one apology and they don't even care. Seriously do not book TC, Easyjet etc are actually much much better.

I agree with this review because...this was our experience on leaving Turkey, late May. Thomas Cook got everyone to airport several hours before flight time - one couple even five hours beforehand - No apologies proferred.

Won't be using Thomas Cook again as they changed our flight times 3 times. We started off booking a 10.00am flight then it was changed to 11.00am. This wasn't so bad but they also changed the return flight from 15.05 to 16.25 which meant we vacated our villa at 10.00am in the morning and had to try and kill even more time before we left for the airport.
