All in all I am very dissappointed with the Garnier Nutrisse and it is doubtful I would use it again. If you have light blonde hair and would like a golden blonde effect do not use Garnier Nutrisse golden blonde.

I was terrified to discover after application of the Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour that the champagne Blonde shade came out a horrendous dark brown! I am absolutely furious and at a total loss as to what to do next. I strongly discourage use, unless you like surprises.

Easy application compared to other products. Garnier Nutrisse spreads nicely yet is not runny so drips can be caught before they get far. It is a snap to rinse and doesn't linger on most bathroom surfaces if there is an accident.
It also comes with a little plastic vial of "nutritive fruit oil concentrate" which you add together with the colourant and developer. This helps mediate the necessary odour of the colourant and seems to add protection against drying.
The conditioner pack it comes with produces wonderfully soft, soft hair and the colour result is truly spectacular.
This product is so easy to use and so kind to my hair overall I would be entirely devoted if not for the sad fact that it fades so quickly.
Generally it only takes a week before fading is noticeable even using their supplementary Color Resist hair care.
Other than that it is wonderful.

Garnier Nutrisse - Garnier hair colours come in a pleasant-looking green and yellow box, which shows the colour results on the side. Inside are a large instruction sheet, plastic gloves, three chemical type things to mix together and a sachet of after-colour nourishing conditioner. All you have to do is to mix the tube of cream and phial of oil into the large plastic bottle, snip the end and squidge the concoction all over your hair. Simple?
Almost that simple! First you really should do a skin sensitivity test 48 hours beforehand and a strand test to see if you like the final result and how long you need to leave the mix on for, instructions are on the big sheet. I have to confess I never, ever do either, but then I am a very experienced peroxide addict! Also, I can't be faffed with the plastic gloves the peroxide is great for whitening a smoker's hands and for bleaching the stain on my nails caused by my nail polish habit. Clothes really do need to be protected, so don't use your favourite dark purple towel, or wear anything that you would ever want to wear in front of anyone again.
The colourant needs to be used on dry hair and I have found the best results are on hair that has been washed a day or so before. If you have got un-abused (your natural colour) hair, just squeeze the mixture on all over for the recommended time, then rinse and condition. If, like me, are just 'doing your roots' yet again, then you will probably need a big comb and some clips if your hair is long. Firstly, paint the potion on to your roots making sure you don't miss any bits; a friend can come in handy here. I usually start with the sides and fringe then go to my parting before doing the bits that won't show so much. The formula is a nice consistency, not so thick your wrists ache squeezing it out and not so runny that it will drip down your neck.
How long you leave it on will depend on your hair type and whether you are doing it for the first time, (remember the strand test?) or re-touching; the leaflet has details on all the times. Once you have rinsed until the water runs clear you will need to slather on the sachet of after-colour nourishing conditioner, which is what gives the lovely healthy gloss to my hair.
Apparently it is also great for covering grey, but since I have coloured and bleached consistently since seventeen, any grey hairs have never had a chance to show themselves, so I can't really comment on this. The product is very easy to use and the final result is wonderfully shiny blonde hair.

Garnier Nutrisse - Color sample of hair on top of box does not match the color you'll turn end up with. I will now have to go to my hairdresser and see if he can turn the red back to dark brown.

Garnier Nutrisse - I have no criticism about the product, just the commercial.
