“NOT HAPPY AT ALL.”

I'm student who has already financial difficulties and I wanted to do many things today so I decided to get a day ticket so I could get some things sorted. So I asked bus driver for a daily ticket for Dunfermline, and when he issued the ticket I noticed that it's only one way from Rosyth to Dunfermline where I'm not even going first of all. I was about to go to train station at that point which is 1.25£ ticket. And when I told driver that he made a mistake that that is not what I asked for he basically told me that it's my fault and refused to void the ticket (2.5£) which he issued and change it to a daily one for 1 pound more that I was about to give to him. So today I end up wasting 2.5£. Not nice at all. Thumbs down.

“Stagecoach is my motivation for getting a driver license”

I pay over £100 each month for a monthly ticket on the X5, only for the bus to drive past me or never arrive. Unfortunately, the X5 is the only way I can get to college and it's very unreliable. One day when I had a very important exam in the winter season, I got super early to the bus stop in case my bus arrives late. The "early" bus never arrived. Neither did the next one. Or the one after that. The X5 comes every 30 minutes so I was standing out in the cold for over 2 hours before a bus arrived. (There were no service updates on the stagecoach website or any notices on the bus stop. The X5 going the opposite way were operating just fine). Ive also had buses drive past me on the bus stop after waiting for them 40minutes. Id understand if they hadnt noticed me but I had my hand out and bright stagecoach card in hand. The staff are also very unwelcoming, especially the female staff for some reason. Im paying a ridiculous amount of money for a bus which costs me a lot of time and good grades.

“Unable to be on time”

At this point I have spent over an hour waiting for a bus that (according to the timetable) rins every 25 minutes. Stagecoach has some of the most inaccurate bus times ever written. In order to get to work (which is a 45 minute walk away) I have to leave my house over 2 hours before I start. Amusingly enough, stagecoach actually say on their site if the bus is more than 5 minutes early, or 10 minutes late, the next journey is on them. If they honoured tgat every customer ever would have free journeys for life. This company is a disgrace.

“Dangerous and Scariest bus drivers - from a fellow...”

I was trying to leave the Market place car park from Banbury town centre earlier today and two Gold S4 buses were trying to get out from a side road. Obviously I kept going as had right of way but the first bus just ignored me and pulled out dangerously in front of me. I braked harshly, shocked, and yet the second bus behind it just kept going forward, beeping its horn at me - it was a long, angry and scary sounding noise. Combined with the livid look on the driver's face, as though he would quite happily hit my car if there were no consequences to follow. I don't understand, it wasn't a give way so why was I expected to stop? Because Stagecoach buses are somehow superior to other road users? In my opinion it was very silly of the two drivers to act so childishly when they are representing their company; it also shows a lack of professional conduct as just because another car was annoying them, doesn't mean a loud long beep was needed to scare half the people in town, including their own passengers.

“Too expensive”

Got the new E bus from Woodmancote into Cheltenham with the children as thought would be cheaper than driving in, more eco friendly etc.. How wrong I was. Nearly £8 for what would have been a short journey return if the bus hadn't gone all the houses. Def do not recommend as for 10 minute journey into town and@£5 parking for 3 hours it makes no sense to use the bus! Shame.

“Kings Lynn stagecoach always late!”

I get the number 10/CH bus from kings Lynn to Hunstanton everyday for work. I'd say 5 days out of 7, it's always at least 10 minutes late. On top of that, once it arrives, there's a huge queue waiting due to it being late and more people arriving. By the time it leaves it's anywhere between 15-20 minutes late! I am writing this from the CH that left the station at 8:15 (which is on time) but now I will be late for my meeting at work because the number 10 (8:00) did not even arrive at all! I've had several buses not even show up in the last month with no explanation, no discount for the inconvenience. I pay £34 a week. For what? To be late to my job, thanks to stagecoach. I will not be using your services any longer, switching back to Lynx! Lynx never let us down and when they did, somebody would come let us know what's happening at least! Lazy!!!!

“Absolutely Shocking”

I embarked on a stagecoach bus to travel to the local supermarket on the evening 26th May 2016. the bus itself was very late but this is usual for our local bus service. This was in the Rugby, Warwickshire area. As we approached the supermarket I pressed the bell alerting to the driver that I wanted to get off at the next stop. he then refused to make the scheduled stop, due to what he said was Traffic and refused to let me off the bus when he had come to a halt further up the road. He actually took me almost two miles out of my way. His attitude was appalling , and I have since learnt from the director that he was not authorised to miss the stop out. I then had to pay for a taxi home after I had already paid my busfare. I also did not have time to do my shopping. Stagecoach have been slow to respond to my complaint which I view as serious and I am yet to receive reimbursement and an explanation or apology. the drivers actions concern me greatly as I have several health issue, and I worry he could do this to someone who is vulnerable.

“Late,inconsistent, expensive”

Now that stagecoach have altered their timetables to these god awful lists that are impossible to read, the drivers think it's acceptable to turn up whenever they feel suit. I am in my early 20's and can read with no difficulty whatsoever and never have I seen such a complicated timetable. I have absolutely no idea when my bus is due to arrive, not that it matters as it is very rare the bus is on time. My punctuality at work is taking a serious beating because of stagecoach. I am yet to pass my driving test which means I depend on these buses to get me to and from work. I live in the Midlands, barwell Hinckley and Shilton area and am truly appalled by the service in that area. It would be greatly appreciated if I knew what time my bus was arriving and for it too actually turn up at that time.

“Can never stick to a time. ”

X5 service. Most the time they are late. Even at 5.18am the first bus in the morning, when there is next to no traffic at this time. So it baffles me how this service at this time can be so frequently late. I understand at peak times the delay due to traffic, that I understand. Another problem is by chance they might be early to a stop, some of your drivers do not wait until the time the bus is due to depart. Many times the bus has driven away early by 3 or so minutes even when they have seen my running for the bus after I see them close the doors. I've been on the bus when they either haven't stopped at important stops like Madeley park and ride by driving past the entrance or leaving stops early. If the buses cannot get to the destinations on time without skipping stops or leaving early, otherwise they will be late, then you need to review your route or at least the timings you display at the stops.

“AWFUL!!”

Constantly cutting routes short as they're always late, leaving many passengers 3 to 5 stops away from the stop they paid to get off at! If there was any other practical way for me to get to work I would use it. Abysmal!

“Stop at bus stop please”

Driver stops anywhere to let passenger get down. Not at bus stop. So, have big gap and need go through parked car to reach pavement. Very danger in Newcastle.

“Better Than First Bus”

As a person who travels on the bus at 12- 15 times a week and has to use stagecoach every time as it goes where I need, I think I'm pretty qualified to review this service. It's a great bus service. There can be untidy seats but we can expect that from any bus. The prices are reasonable and the bus drivers are almost always on time and if not they have good reason to be slightly late. One thing I must say though, is I have had a few bad experiences where my bus driver has just powered the bus down and sat there for about 15 minutes or have got out of the bus in the middle of the journey to smoke or go on there phones. I'm sorry. I know driving all day long with obnoxious customers can be annoying but please break at the end of the journey or on your break. I have been late many times because a bus driver has done this. Some people have places to be! With that being said it is an easy bus service to use and has a good website and the ride isn't as bad as some other companies such as first! Trust me I could say a lot of bad things about First Group!!! Thanks for reading. I hope this helped :)

“terrible service”

The 505 service between kings lynn and Spalding is terrible, it rarely arrives on time at my stop. Waited for the 9.23 bus this morning and it finally turned up at 9.37 making me late for work. This is a regular occurrence on this service. Also the recent price increases are a rip off, an extra 70p on the family tickets I get (for 3 of us if that makes a difference) and 40p on the price of an adult fare. Hopefully these increases actually show and the service improves. Would not recommend this service to anyone and the only reason I still use it is because there is no other option.

“Late for work ”

I normally get the 98 bus from Exeter road to the green most days for work. I always get the bus which gets there allowing me to have twenty minutes to walk up the massive Hill before entering sandy bay. This therefore means I don't have to rush. However today I got to the bus stop at ten past eight and I wanted for the bus. Normally I'm late so I had left earlier and waited for the 25 past 1 bus. I wasnt the only one who was waiting for the bus either. I saw the 98 drive past on the opposite side of the road twice and never once did it come past us. Finally at ten to two it arrived full of people. I think everyone was annoyed and the drivers showed no sympathy. I was half an hour late to work and my boss wasn't happy. Neither am I.

“stagecoach name and shame”

on the wednesday 16th of march a service 25 stagecoach bus hit my car on stradbrooke drive sheffield the driver admited responsabilerty of the accident and gave his details i informed them and they gave me a claim number it has caused a scratch down my rear bumper there insurer has got details and stalling to provide them to mine put phone down on them shameful 3 days later the same service just mist my car a second time on the same corner as i was at junction and the very ignorent driver did not let me go just turn the bus into the corner and cut the corner forseing me to reverse my car not letting your drivers hit my car again you dont pay for the damage you course so just to let you all know dont ever let stagecoach buses hit your car they dont pay for it shameful

The seats are always dirty I once found dog poo on one also me and my nan 72 had to wait an hour for one bus when they was meant to be every 10 mins

“Worst Company Ever”

Now I am regularly forced to use this bus service, as I live in a rural area, and I cannot tell you how awful these services are. Describing the bus as running late is an under statement, these busses can literally be an hour late and still charge the same fare. If you have to be anywhere on a deadline do not rely on a bus and if you really have to get the earliest bus as they will arrive roughly the same time. The prices are out of order 4 pound for less than 7 miles. If I only ever give one good bit of advice in my life it is never ever use stagecoach.

“Just terrible”

Completely useless. I catch the x3 cwmbran to Cardiff daily and half the time it doesn't show up the other time it's ridiculously late. I had to wait an hour and 10 minutes for a service that's every half an hour. Save your time and just take the train. The only logical answer is they aim to be so useless as every other service provider is on time.

“Unhappy Staff makes Unhappy Customers”

Leven, Fife stagecoach buses are the following: Unclean, overpriced, they have the most inconvenient routes no matter your destination and if you start work at 9am there absolutely no buses to get you there. The staff are grumpy and unhelpful with one or two exceptions. The same buses are consistently late and nothing is done about it. Not to mention if you want to stand outside the bus shelter on a hot day you better be a smoker because every single bus driver will be puffing smoke or horrible e-cigs in your face.

“fast & furious but never on time”

The drivers at porth depot are like formula 1 drivers. The are constantly speeding to keep time.i was talking to 1 driver who says they are given time to get from 1 stop to another and the only way of staying on time is to actually to break the speed limit on every road. Its going to take a big accident for stagecoach porth to look in to the timing points and realise that this could cause death on the roads if you dont give your drivers more time to be able to drive carefully.
