Its Christmas eve 6pm,it clearly says on the shop windows that the garage closes at 9pm.i park where the tyre inflator is and enter the shop for change as I needed 50p for the machine.the sales assistant tells me it's not in use now as he's totalled the figures and emptied it of money.he told me to drive to the next garage which was 3 miles away.with a tyre that needed air! The hose was still connected on the machine but he still refused to let me use it. I explained how desperate I was but he was not interested. So I set off to drive to the next garage, knackered my wheel rim and had to call out the RAC. I understand that he wanted to be ready to close on time but 3 hours before hand??? I will be taking this further when I can find who and where I can complain to!

I went to the jet garage in haddington and put £10 in my car and usually this give me from empty 46miles but this time I got nothing at all. After looking at my gauge then immediately returned into garage and asked if theres a problem with the pump? She said why I said because no fuel has gone into it ! She said I must have pour it on the floor because it says on her screen it went in!. Im sorry but despite what she thinks tech does break down . I said toher come look at my gauge come look at the floor its dry she just said there is nothing I can do as they have no one to answer too. I use this joke of a company everyday and thought as they seen me every day they would be helpful but instead was spoken to like I was lieing and stupid. Spread the word avoid these garages bunch of rip off criminals where is the trading standards when u need them. Since using this garage ive seen at least 10 other who say same thing. They can get the police involved if u dont pay but who do we call when we dont get the fuel we pay for hmmm???? If anyone knows how I can get this sorted please let me know thanks and hope no one else getsscrewed over but while they continue to trade its def gonna happen again .

Filled the company car with diesel three weeks ago at this petrol station with no problems. Filled up today, went to pay with company fuel card, the woman on the till said they dont accept it. I said you do she said they dont with a bad attitude, rude, no respect, shouting at me in front of other customers. She then had the cheek to say I was shouting first. If that was the case how comes the people in the queue thought it was disgracful of the woman on the till was acting. I have been in customer services for 23 years. If I talked to one of my customers like that I would have lost my job. What happened to the customer is always right. Even if you are right you never talked to customers disrespectfully. She was saying I am right you are wrong and if you dont pay she will report me for un paid fuel to the police. When my fuel card hasn't worked in the past, I filled in a formed and sorted out payment later through work with no problems. This woman needs customer service training in a big way.

I went into Jet garage Galston to collect 3 parcels yesterday. I handed the cashier the 3 codes for my 3 parcels. Waited 5 mins for the first one, then 5 minutes for the second one but then the cashier told me the code was incorrect for the third one. Even though he had given me 2 other parcels with my name and address on them and had looked at my photo driving licence he wouldn't give me the parcel. I then went home and checked the code which was correct. Went back down for a second time and explained this. Cashier checked again and said it was still the wrong number. I asked him what the procedure was when this happened and he shrugged his shoulders and offered no helpful suggestions. I then went home and checked my emails and had 2 thanking me for collecting my Two parcels. When I looked the code of the parcel he was telling me was incorrect had already been collected and he hadnt given me the parcel for the first code on the list. When I went back for a third time and explained this to him, he typed in the first code and gave me the parcel. When I pointed out that this was my third trip to the garage to collect a parcel due to his error. He claimed he had made no mistake even though I have collection slips showing the mistake. No apology was made and I feel that was completely unacceptable customer service. Will not set foot in that garage again or any other Jet branded garage.

Went to collect item from Collect+. Owner kept me waiting while he finished scratching his scratch cards. Then when I showed him my collect number he said, without checking, that he didn't have my parcel. I asked him to look and he said he's not had a delivery that day. I said what about yesterday, he said not yesterday either. I said my message I telling me he has my parcel and to check in the other room behind the counter. He refused and said he didn't have it. I have now just tracked the item and the guy signed for it "KAUR" and sent it back to sender next day. What a p****k.

We are dismayed to hear of your bad experience at a site that is Jet branded.
All Jet sites in the UK are independently owned and operated. Each owner of the 300+ Jet sites sets their own staffing policies If you wish to pursue this then you should speak direct to the owner of the site in question.
Whilst we fully respect your reluctance to use this particular Jet site in the future, we hope that you will give us a second chance if you are passing another Jet site and need fuel or convenience goods.

This filling station is no longer Jet branded. It is an independently owned site (this is common practice in the UK forecourt industry) and has recently changed branding FROM Jet and I understand it is now branded Greenergy/Nisa. This change took place at the beginning of November 2013.
Please direct your concerns either direct to the site owner or contact Greenergy Direct who should pass on your concerns.

On 23-10-2013 at 19.30 after work I went to the local petrol station to use collect+ service and also Pay Point. I managed to give the parcel to the assistant, and was waiting for my confirmation receit when he was already talking to the next person in the queue. I had to remind him that I still would like to use the collect plus service. The staff (manager) told me they dont accept debit/credit card, only cash... ... Althought I found it very strange there is a petrol station without card reader, i went to a cashpoint to get cash for my electricity top up as I was planning to travel abroad and wanted to make sure my balance wont run out till I am away. As I arrived back to the service station with the notes, the attendant (same guy) told me that the pay point is not working. I asked him what happened, but he just kept sayin the same words, "not working not working", I guess because of his poor English. Then I also alsed him why could not him let me know when I was there first, so I would not come back. He was then saying I should not use my mobile, when I am in the station as I was on call with my cousin. I asked him why is it a problem? and he said there are signs. Well I did not see those signs but I did stop my phonecall. Then he said "go out"... I was shocked, the tone and the language he was using to me commanding me. I was not showing any attitude, but his arrogance made me irritated and I asked him if I could speak to the manager. He said he is the manager. I told him I find it quite rude how he is dealing with me, and it is not acceptable, then I requested for the customers' book. He gave me a piece of paper from the till what I refused, and I requested for email address or website address for the company. He told me I should use proper English what I found quite funny from a person who cant even compose a full sentence using only words without any grammar. I work cutomer services and for fact I know how to speak to people. He was giving me attitude and it was not the first time but now he really upset me. All I wanted to get a top up, I was not rude, drunk or violant, and really dont understand the shop attendant's behaviour. On my way out I glanced back and I saw a customer paying by bank card.(!!!) I realised the story about the faulty paypoint was a lie such as the fact he told me is cash only service. I got really annoyed and angry, thinking this is the last thing people are expecting when entering a shop. # ~Please there are so many intelligent people with degree on the streets seeking for a job. I am sure for 18.000 GBP/annum you could at least find someone who has got manners. Or at least speaks English. English is not my mother tounge, but I do beleive that especially those who work with the public should be able to express themself in a polite manner and have a general understanding of tha language.

Went to BRENTFORD Jet service station today, put £50.05 petrol in car, went to counter to pay, only to be charged £60.05. I had already put my card in and paid before I realised that I had been overcharged, I didn't pay enough attention as I was in a rush. When he presented me with my receipt I noticed two transactions, one at £50.05 and another for £10.00. I asked the cashier why this was, he said I had put petrol in then released the pump and put more petrol in. I was shocked, I told him he was wrong and argued the point, another man standing next to him said something in his language and the cashier gave me £10 back in cash. It all seemed very dodgy to me. I wont be using this station again, I want to complain to head office but I cant find any details for them on the internet!

Extreemly poor service

I refer to the " Service station " at Wheatley Hill Co Durham. At 12.15a.m. on 8th April 13 at which time my eyes were stinging after suffering an allergic reaction to handling a small pet animal I called to refuel. I explained to the young lady to whom I had just paid a petrol bill for £29.84, the problem I had and asked if there was a tap anywhere where I could wash my hands. Her reply was most firmly in the negative despite there being a wash room almost directly behind her. It's bad enough having no toilets but not to have a water tap anywhere in a petrol service station confounds belief.

I to have not received the full amount of diesel. I usually go to Morrisons in Kings Lynn but stopped at the jet garage in gaywood, kings lynn. I bought £10 worth of diesel and when I got to the car and switched on the ignition the gage had not even moved. I checked the mileage left and it said 83 miles remaining which was the same as before I filled up. Thinking it was strange, I drove straight down to Morrisons and put another £10 in and the gadge moved up over quarter of a tank. There is something strange going on. I was looking for the head office address and came accross this. And just because they are checked by trading standards once in a blue moon don't mean they can't be tampered with. Even more so if the garages are independently owned. Stay away at all costs

I went into this garage in plumstead common, i put the same amount of petrol in as i always do and it left me very short compared to other garages. I checked out the prices in the area and Jet was actually one of the cheapest, so why didnt i get my normal ration of petrol? I went into my usual garage today and spent the normal amount and received the correct measure. I think they have some sort of restrictor on the pumps it disgracful, i have looked for an address to complain but could only find this site for reviews. This is daylight robbery they know how much we depend on it for our lively hoods i am furious.

All Jet filling stations in the UK are independently owned and operated. It is industry standard that fuel dispensing pumps at all filling stations are monitored and sealed by Trading Standards/Weights and Measures on a regular basis.
Please direct your query in writing to the owner/operator of the site in question. You can obtain a postal address through the Jet Site locator at "How to Find a Jet Service Station"

I went to London for a call out & needed Diesel, I normally get around £103.00 once in the red light & needed to get 3hrs home. I pulled into the station where others was using the pumps the attendant would not turn on the pump, so I went to the window & see there was a sign saying no cards cash only, but was asked how i like to pay, I said card please, said cant you read cash only...So I said ok cash then, then he said I had to pay 1st, I was some what confused & took out 50.00 from my wallet & the man said "fu*king smelly white man" I then wasn't impressed to hear this & asked what he said that for & said I cant have any diesel as I was in a white van. So not only am I being discriminated but racially abused also & this is not on at all. I got my money back & left the forecourt & had to get to the next garage on the red light. This all happened in a Brentford Service station - Jet garage.the man is shrilankan & very Rude

This has got to be the worst petrol station ever. I was the second lady stood in the snow at the window waiting to pay. So as so cold was worried the staff had not heard us 1am so knocked on the window. A young Asian man appeared and was very cross he said i was busy!! Looked more like he was watching tv at the back. I said sorry and that if at night the ladies was cleaning out the back they said to give a knock. Shock horror, he ranted but thy are just SERVANTS i am owner. Anyone that calls staff servants has a real problem. I reminded him that twice this month he had run out of petrol, the station shelves never had stock. Avoid this place if iwas you

So I go to my local jet garage (Great North Road, Gosforth, Newcastle-upon-tyne) on 04/01/13 at 17:30 to put £15 in the tank. I have precisely 2 x £10 notes which I got from an Asda cash machine. As I go to pay, I hand the two notes over to the female attendant and I am told that one could not be accepted as it was likely to be a duff note. Okay so that's acceptable as a company to recognise and pick these things up and note the extend of this complaint. The complaint stems from the sheer attitude I receive from the woman regarding the matter. As I didn't have any more money on me, I said I have to go to my house which was about 2 minutes away. I was then greeted with a mafia style interrogation and a demand to "leave the car there under the camera" this was not how anyone should be spoken to or a way to resolve a simple matter. So only accepting this response as I live literally 2 minutes, I leave one of the £10 notes and I go home and pick up a five pound note. I return promptly to give her the remaining money to then be told... "You put £20 in..." This was the final straw. I retorted, no I certainly put in £15. Like a child she kept replying with "you out £20 in" eventually I told her to check the pump record and surely enough... Bang! £15 was the figure. Instead of an apology, I got a "oh you're right" I sure am!! So I leave fuming about the attitude and severely poor customer service I received. So... The 'mafia' jet garage shall never be graced with my presence or custom and i shall advise people the same! I even try to look for a complaints department but apparently they have no contact or even an official site... Just the head office address for group phillips66 who own jet. If anyone can help me with any other info, that would be great!

My brother just managed to get on fore court as his van ran out of diesel,he filled up and went to pay however, because the taxi behind him couldn't get passed the passengers jumped out and the three of them kicked and knocked him out!when he eventualy got up he asked the person in the garage to phone for the police and ambulance,he refused!!Is that the policy of the rest of the jet garages? me i think it is disgusting!!

I am very sorry that you have had cause to complain about the treatment you received recently at a Jet branded petrol station.
All Jet filling stations in the UK are individually owned and operated, which includes setting staffing policies. The ancillary services (such as mail drop off/collection) are the responsibility of the individual site owner.
If you wish to pursue this I would suggest that you speak direct to the site owner. Visit jetlocal and use our site locator to obtain contact information.

This is the problem. Go to the owner to sort out when they are the problem. I approached the owner again and got nowhere so instead of going round in circles I'll just not use that service station ever again. Westcliffe, Burringham Road, Scunthorpe if anyone else wants to steer clear.
