“I ordered from the Warehouse website over a week ago. ...”

☆☆☆☆☆

written by bonster on 28/06/2008

I ordered from the Warehouse website over a week ago. The item still hadn't been dispatched yesterday. I have emailled them 3 times as the website will not allow me to access 'my account'.
I have included a phone number (as they suggest) so that someone may call me regarding the item. I have received no reply or phone call yet. Today I called and was told that the website was very busy and that they could not tell me when my item would be dispatched and certainly not when it would be delivered. I will not use this website again. Ever.

“I ordered 2 dresses and a belt online from Warehouse,...”

★★★★☆

written by harbinda on 28/02/2008

I ordered 2 dresses and a belt online from Warehouse, and they came the next day! I was very impressed with the packaging too. I was slightly dubious about the sizing, thinking that they wouldn't fit, but the clothes fit perfectly, and were even better than what I saw online.

Even though some may say their clothes are pricey, I think the quality is far better than anything on the high street. I bought a 100% silk dress for £65 and it's cut in such a way that it will never go out of fashion. I agree that a lot of their stuff is too "trendy", but there are some hidden gems if you're prepared to look (especially online, where there is a greater variety than what you see in shops, which are generally very small). The main pro is their stuff is very good quality which will last.

“Warehouse has the quirky items I'd say - trendy stuff...”

★★★★★

written by Moushka D on 13/10/2006

Warehouse has the quirky items I'd say - trendy stuff with a twist - ie nice colours and styles and then also nice knitwear and suit pieces. My petite friend has bought 2 trouser suits from there.

I must've bought more than I listed from Warehouse but don't want to list all of them. This year I bought a green beaded very pretty bikini purely b/c my then boyfriend liked it and said I'd regret it if I didn't buy it then. Then in the summer I saw 2 items, went back and saw them both in sale - a white broiderie anglaise short-sleeved jacket at half price (in magazines as a 'must-have') and a blue oriental print strappy top - very pretty and unusual colour/pattern at half price too! of course I snapped them up but unwilling to pay £50 for jacket! A week later the same jacket had its price put up to £50 again!

Anyway I like the shop and general clothing designs. Go and look around for unusual pieces.

“I was emergency shopping for a prom dress as I had...”

★★★★☆

written by BrightIdeas on 05/05/2006

I was emergency shopping for a prom dress as I had been let down by another big high street store in the delivery of a previous dress. I don't usually shop at Warehouse, but I was wandering around Debenhams and came to their section, where they had the loveliest cream satin dress that would be perfect. Sadly, the smallest size they had was a 10, and with me being a 6/8 that wasn't so good. However, the staff were more than happy to help by ringing all the other stores in Manchester until they found the dress in my size. Luckily, she managed to find one, and she held it in the store until I could get to the other store.

It was perfect, and went down so well at my prom.

Yes I agree. Warehouse have a lovely selection of evening dresses at the moment. I buy alot of clothes from there and always find the staff pleasant and approachable. The clothes might be slightly more expensive than other high street shops but I am willing to pay the extra for such good quality.x

“Warehouse has a good selection of clothes, both casual...”

Warehouse has a good selection of clothes, both casual and formal. The sizes can be a bit small over the chest; as long as you try stuff on before you buy it shouldn't cause a problem. The clothing is good quality too, and keeps its colour/shape after washing frequently. I only have one 'complaint' their shortest trouser size is 32", which is not ideal if you are looking for short length trousers. Other than that, great shop with lots of choice.

I disagree clothes in warehouse are fine, they don't do small sizes. England has the second highest rate of obesity in the world. Why should England change the clothes sizes to fit obesity. Warehouse is a fashion clothes shop, why should they make their clothes larger for people who over-eat?

i can't believe what i just read : 'why should they make clothes bigger for people who over-eat?!' get a grip!!! Liv Tyler is a size 14 and a prime example of someone who is healthy but curvy. Marilyn Monroe was a size 16 for goodness' sake. I am a 12-14 and proud of it. I live a healthy lifestyle but have boobs and hips so i need to buy bigger sizes. that comment is just as scandalous as me saying ; 'smaller sizes are for anorexics.' Please, whoever wrote that, think before you speak. Many high-street stores cater brilliantly for all sizes. I think that what the first comment was trying to say was in a world where there are so many varying body sizes, high street shops such as warehouse should hold a continuing stock of all sizes!

Hi Tickled Pink
<br>
<br>I am not so sure myself why I got the very angry comment back. Surely curvy women need to be able to dress nicely.

Hi Girls,
<br>
<br>I often shop at warehouse but like Sue I also find the sizes are rather small. I usually buy a size 12 clothes but have to go for a size 14 at warehouse.
<br>
<br>"why should they make their clothes larger for people who over-eat?" - dont quite understand where you are coming from on this one!!
