I am a mature lady who always had very flat nipples but after hearing about niplettes I was very curious, I had to try these out. I am absolutely delighted with the result, I now have extremely prominent nipples. It takes a bit of patience as I was tempted to look for too much too quick causing a bit of discomfort. Not now I can wear them all day under a padded bra, they are discreet which enables me to go out wearing them. The sensation of hard erect nipples when they are removed is fantastic. The nipple does go down a bit but the slightest touch and wow they are huge. Please just try them if you have a problem with your nips. Good luck.

After being really embarrased all of my life about my nips I tried this product. I have been using it less than a week and can see a difference. I found it better to use vaseline on my nips and around where the cup sits. Also if you use a padded bra this is a great help.

I'm a 32 year old woman, having lived my entire life with grade 3 inverted nipples on both breasts. I have three children and longed so much to breastfeed. I tried unsuccessfully with my first child and afterwards was told further attempts would likely be unsuccessful. It was after my third baby a midwife told me about the nipplette, so I went searching. At first the look of the product put me off buying. I thought there was no possible way it could work. I found it difficult keeping them on at first and retraction of the nipple felt uncomfortable. The longest I could keep them on initially was about an hour. A good tip is to rub baby oil onto your breast before applying the suction, I find it more comfortable with an underwired bra... I've been using them now for 2 mths maybe 4 times a week for 1-3hrs at a time, one nipple has pretty much corrected, the other nipple I notice a change, I'm not 100% there yet but I'm almost there. I can't believe this product was what stood between me and potentially breast feeding my children, I'm disappointed I didnt find it sooner, but thrilled that ill finally feel confident about my breasts!

What I love about this product is its making my nipples very big lol. I guess the downside is its very uncomfortable and I can't leave home with them on because they keep falling off. Perhaps I am not wearing them properly.

I purchased the Avent Niplette online two months ago and have been using it daily ever since. One nipple was inverted and the other was flat. I was researching inverted nipple correction when I found this product. There were mixed reviews, but I wanted to try it out before considering surgery. Now I only wish that I knew about the niplette sooner! I have small nipples/areola and was worried about the size of the device. I had no problem at all with getting it on and wearing for several hours a day. My whole nipple/areola is pulled in with the suction, but that hasn't caused any problems. My nipple looks very large when I take the niplette off, but it returns to normal quickly. I don't wear at night, but I can wear under a bra with most shirts. It does sometimes come off, but for the most part I can wear for as many hours at a time as I want. I only used a small amount of suction at first, but gradually increased to the full amount. I have been wearing 8-12 hours every day for two months and I am thrilled with the results. My flat nipple has been completely corrected and you would never know it was flat all my life. I would say my inverted nipple is now flat, but does get hard and stick out easily. I had NEVER seen it like that until I tried the niplette. I plan to continue to wear it on that side and I have no doubt I will see the results I want. I apply Medela lanolin before before use and have had no issues with bleeding or dry skin. (Bought the medela soft shells, but found I don't need them and they are too big to wear under my bras.) I highly recommend this product. It works - get it today! You won't see any lasting improvements the first few weeks, but stick with it. This product has changed my life. I feel much more confident and happy with my breasts. Amazing!

I just bought this product and have had it for 3 days, wearing it for about 7 hours each day and can definitely see the difference already! Looks very promising. However I have developed small red blotches just around the area, just wondering if anyone else had experienced this and has any advice? Thanks!

I just got this in the mail a few days ago, and have only used it twice. However, the nipplette is much wider than my nipple and part of my areola gets sucked in when using it. Should I stop using the product because of this, I feel like if its sucking in my areola & nipple it won't help at all. Any ideas?

I think this is common based on what I have seen on some pictures and still you can get a result. Good Luck.

I have had this product for a few weeks now and I have thought the same thing, how did you get on, did it work ok in the end?
Written on: 14/10/2012
Hi. Just use it how ever it feels comfortable for you. The cups may take a little of the surrounding area in but this is becasue your nipples are small at present. After using for some weeks you should find it gets better and easier.

I ordered my Avent Niplette off of Amazon. I needed the twin pack and Amazon had it cheaper than most other websites, and I shop a lot on Amazon so I got free shipping. Anyway, I've only had my Avent Niplette for about one week and I'm already extremely pleased! I've had one inverted nipple since as long as I can remember and my other nipple became inverted after my last pregnancy due to an infected milk duct and rapid weight loss (always have your NEWLY inverted nipple checked by your doctor to determine the cause). My inverted nipple that I've always had, it was such a stubborn one that it would barely pop out (and not completely ever pop out) while using a breast pump. But, only after a week of wearing the Avent Niplette for around 20+ hours every day, it is finally coming out! I am so pleased that now when I do take them off to let my nipples breathe, they are "retractable" nipples. They do go back in, but BOTH nipples pop out now when stimulated! Which, the newly inverted one was always like that before it went completely inverted. It would stay inverted usually all the time unless stimulated. Which is okay with me, it's better to have retractable nipples than inverted ones (in my opinion). The only regret I have is that I didn't find this product before I had kids. I wanted to breastfeed so bad but couldn't due to my one inverted nipple, and the breast pump only goes so far. I actually found this product because I was considering getting them surgically corrected, but I had watched a video on youtube of the procedure actually being done and it just looked scary and painful! Not to mention, I had read on several forums that you can lose feeling in your nipples and won't be able to even breastfeed at all afterwards. I do hope that surgeons recommend this product to women still seeking to become pregnant and are wishing to breastfeed. I would avoid the surgeons who aren't recommending this product or all other non-abrasive products to those patients to be honest. They're probably money hungry with terrible bedside manners and will just treat you like a walking stack of cash. Not only that, but the Avent Niplette is LOADS cheaper, I can only imagine it's less painful, more comfortable (other than mild soreness around the nipple, I don't feel it at all), no risk of infection and losing your nipple completely, and best of all, you can still breastfeed after treatment! I would ONLY recommend surgery to anyone with inverted nipples if you try the Avent Niplette and it doesn't work. Also, one last tip... I had issues with mine staying on until I read a review on a different website and someone said that they used lip balm. I went out and got a cheap .88 cent tube of chapstick and it works like a charm! No joke. Sounds insane using chapstick on your nipples lol, but it does work! Not to mention it's cheaper than the nipple ointment ($9.99 at my local store). I hope that my review has helped anyone/everyone who has inverted nipples and is wanting them corrected for breastfeeding purposes, or just for cosmetic reasons. I'm also hoping my review reaches those who are tired of the embarrassment and considering surgery. Just try this product first before wasting your cash and subjecting yourself to that much pain! Be patient, be consistent, and expect reasonable results and you'll be one happy camper with the Avent Niplette! =) As with any product though, results will vary.

Have been using niplettes for 3 days and is already looking promising. I always had flat nipples and was very conscious of them. I can see the difference already. Not massivlely of course but a definite improvement. It has not been painfull and I use e45 cream on my nipples to keep them supple and it helps the niplettes seal onto you. They can be tricky to put on until you get used to them. I just can't wait for the full effect to take place. The price is a bit high for something so simple but if it works well it's not so bad. I am 56 and I wish I had known about niplettes sooner.

After one week, I see results (had flat nipples) not where I want to be yet but can see it working. Cutting a hole in a bra pad (old one from another bra or the one included in the box) has been the best way for me to keep them on and in place and also re-doing the suction after the first 2 hrs because there seemed to be more stretch in them after then (with a good moisturizer) so was able to re-do it with more comfort and more stretch as well. No problems with them staying on unless I use it without a pad that has holes in it.. which looks fine under a bra and takes the "bite" out of it being pressed into your breast inside your bra. Considering the high price, they could at least put a few more pads in there and maybe a trial size moisturizer to egt you started.

I found this product to be expensive and poorly made. The srynge is difficult to attach to the nipplet device and often pops off or will not stay attached when you try to set it up. The device becomes stained and is difficult to clean - making it obviously unsanitary. The srynge becomes hard to use after a few weeks making it hard to draw the air out (it sticks.) Often the nipple is drawn out and the nipplet cup falls off. After 3 months I saw minimal change.

I've had mine for a few days now and I have already noticed the change. I was very pleased.. But after wearing around my nipple goes white for a while, does the niplette cut off the circulation to your nipple? and is there harm in it? Thanks

Hello, The nipple of my left breast was flatter compared to the right one and would only come out whenever I touch it. So, I used the niplette to correct it. The niplette kept falling off. So what I did is that I cut some a small circle out of the cup of old bras where my nipple is, just large enough for me to put the niplette on my nipple. I never had any problem afterwards. Only a few weeks of wearing has corrected my nipple significantly.

I was skeptical about buying this product because I heard surgery was the only was to correct inverted nipples but this WORKS!! flat nipples, inverted nipples, whatever, it works! I've been using this for almost a week and I'm a believer! I can proudly say I HAVE NIPPLES!!! YAYY I had no problem with it staying on. I found using coco butter was a good moisturizer and helped keep the nipple from dying and cracking and all that bad stuff. the only problem i had with this product was the pain sometimes. As you are able to pull the suction tighter it takes awhile to get adjusted but other than that I love this product!

I have found this product after years and years of total insecurity about my breasts. When I was about 10 a school friend told me that they had seen me getting changed and that I had inverted nipples and was a freak and that I would have to have surgery to correct it. Since then I have felt just like that - a freak - and have not let anyone see me naked. I am always pulling my clothes back on or the duvet over me to avoid being seen! I have only been using this product for a short time but the immediate results are excellent. I feel so relieved to have a solution to a life long body image problem - I could cry!! And for only £30?! Well worth it. I am sure that this product will do exactly as it says and soon I will have a body I can be proud of showing off to my partner!

I am 22 and have had flat nipples all my life, so to find a device like this is a little miracle, no nasty surgery and my boyfriend hasnt noticed my using them (he'd think I was daft if I told him what I was up to)! When I first tried these I had problems keeping them on, I wore just a bra and the nipple pads you get with them, they would only stay on for a few minutes! So I gave up. But now I have come back after doing some research with a vengence. I heard that nipple shields would do the trick, so gave it a whirl and what a difference! I can sleep in them and they dont budge! Try them: http://www.boots.com/en/Medela-Nipple-Formers_982219/ Theyre a bit fiddly but once youve got the hang of them and theyre on its great. Ive worn them for three nights now and already see a great difference. The only side affect I have had is a clear liquid leaking but its only a tiny amount and the pack says this is normal. Anyway good luck to whoever tries these out, theyre worth it.

Hi, did you ever give the niplette a try? I have grade 3 inverted nipples and hated them! I've never seen my nipples ever in my life and after using the niplette daily for 4 months they would come out whenever i was cold! So for never ever coming out to coming out when cold, i would say it was effective to a point. I dont think its a permanent fix for people with grade 3 inversion.
