Didn't get my product Didn't get my product, didn't get a refund. Awful services. 3 weeks and still no product. Was told 48 hours and then was told will be here for Monday, then rang Tuesday and then they said it still not been sent. Awful company. Do not use

“Shocking customer service”

Worst customer service ever! Placed an order on 01/12/2020, first initially told 5 working days. Then when I called to ask for an update was told can take up to 10-15 working days. 15 working days have passed. I called customer service who are completing useless, said they would pass my request onto the delivery team over a week ago, still not heard from to then be told by customer service there is a backlog and can take 5-7 days for them to get in touch. I asked how long a refund would take if I was to cancel. 14 business days!! I am so upset as this was a Christmas present and don't have another £450 to go out and buy another. The chat service is rubbish they can't even give an update on when it will actually arrive.

“Shocking Service”

Shocking service. Printer listed available for next day delivery. Not delivered. Phoned customer service to be told its a 4 day delivery, not delivered. Phoned customer service to be told its a 10 day delivery, ordered, not delivered. Phoned customer service to be told that I would be called within 24 hours with an update, no phone call. Phoned customer service to be told it's being drop shipped from supplier, not delivered. Phoned customer service to be told that there is now no delivery date. Offered a refund but told they could not say when that would happen. No one senior to speak to, no complaints department to speak to. No customer retention manager to speak to. Just the poorest service with customer service agents who have no solution. Viking now on our corporate supplier blacklist. Offer next day delivery and accept payment on product they didn't actually have in stock.

“Never received my order”

I never received my order. Apparently it was returned to the warehouse without even reaching us. Three weeks later, I’m still waiting for my refund. Wish I’d read reviews before I ordered. Lesson learnt!

“Avoid... Dreadful”

Avoid... Nightmare. Ordered a coffee grinder and printer paper.Paid with Paypal They delivered the paper 4 days later with a note stating the grinder was also delivered. 3 days later contacted to chase up: no coffee grinder in stock will come direct from supplier but there is no date. I cancelled the order and ask for refund. Week later called and turns out the refund was not done properly and it will take 14 days... 10 days later chasing up and being angry I asked for the money they said same day and hang up when I asked for confirmation email. 3 days later I filed a complain through PayPal but they just ignore it. AVOID THEM

I do t know how they ever got any stars on their reviews. They are the worst company ever. You will be tinned and you will not receive anything. You can call every day for a month and get a different story each time.. Honestly please just give me all my money back. Avoid

Ordered a filing cabinet and files over£200 ! Showed item in stock on line! Never arrived, after 8 attempts to get a reply I was advised By email the items were out of stock! Waited over 5 weeks for a refund! Can’t speak to anyone and Viking have blocked my email! Now reporting them to trading standards and also looking for ceo So that I can court summons them’ Appalling Do Not Ever Deal with these people!!!!!!’ warning to all

“The first and last time, uncontactable”

First time I dealt with them and the last, needed inkjet cartridges urgently so though they might respond quickly,, so wrong.. Cheepo memory stick arrived , but can’t print with that ! Inkjet cartridges still not arrived and no reply from Viking, tracked parcel says Still at Hub bieng sorted, so could be days or weeks. Have had to go elsewhere Locally and get cartridges for business use, My advice is you only ever get what you pay for, much better paying a bit more locally.

“ Absolutely a joke!”

Absolutely a joke! I placed my original order and, apart from the order confirmation, no other information on delivery or anything was received. On my first call to them, the line dropped in the middle of my conversation and 15 wait, on my second call, 25 minutes wait and they could not hear me. On my third call i discover that the order had not been placed due to a fault with the website. However, they had received my full payment. So they cancelled the order and refunded me still not received any refund at this point as the operator said it will take 24/48 hours.so i patiently replaced the order and to make sure I contacted them again and unbelievable, they tuck my money again and say they have no order and to add, they want confirmation of payment to investigate. Incredible! they are meant to be an online supplier.

“Viking Direct is awful - Steer Clear”

This company don't deserve a single star. They are hiding under the Covid-19 pandemic to hold onto people's money. I place an order on 14 April 2020 for an item that was shown to be available only to discover, the next day, that my order was placed on back order. As a result I quickly emailed and asked for cancellation and refund. It took them 10 days after I've sent another email to cancel the order with promise to get back to me within 48 days regarding refund. This is June 2020 and I still haven't received my refund despite my repeated emails and call. Because of this I've incurred interest on my credit card. I wouldn't recommend this useless company to anybody. Zero customer service.

They are awful. Goods not delivered, woeful customer service. Ordered office chair, said in stock on website. Never turned up. Chased and asked for refund. Took days to get a response. Refund promised. No refund. Chased. No answer. No refund. Chased. No answer. Completely unreliable, will never use again - order from them at your own peril.

This company is a disgrace. They take the money as soon as the order was made. No goods arrived. After two weeks of chasing I finally got through to someone and discover that the goods have been sent back to the warehouse. They made a mistake on the address. Now, they are refusing to refund until it has been processed. The customer service is terrible.

“very poor service”

Placed an order on 19th of march. Money taken from account on the 20th. Nothing delivered. Over 18 emails back and forth, keep asking same questions, have I paid, what did I order. Customer services absolutely useless. I feel that they are messing me about on purpose and having a laugh at my expense. So much for being a 'valued customer'.

I placed an order that was in stock according to the website but it wasn't. The price was 29.99 (before taxes) but the free delivery was from 30.00 (even if you pay 35 pounds you still have to pay for the delivery or add another item...) It was supposed to arrive the day after, but it didn't (of course, because they didn't have it in stock) and didn't get me any updates either. The support chat doesn't work, they don't replay any email and the only available way to reach them is by phone (only if you want to make a purchase). I called them anyway, I managed to get my order cancelled through the phone, but now, one month later I am getting a 20 pounds charge in my bill because of those calls. Just avoid buying from them!!

“Absolutely Effing Terrible”

Items still not received after 3 weeks and no response to any of my communications. Luckily paid via PayPal so I opened a dispute through them. Lo and behold, within 3 days my items had arrived. Still no correspondence nor any form of apology. I will not be using this company again and cannot recommend that anyone else do so. Even just an email to acknowledge that my order had been received and was being processed, or that there was a delay and an ETA, would have welcome. Instead they happily take money and then leave the customer wondering what is happening. I am amazed that with this level of customer service and care that they have any customers left. Had I known what this company was like prior to purchase I would definitely not have spent any money with them. Lesson learned - read reviews first.

“EXTREMELY LONG REVIEW - Reporting to Trading Standards”

BE WARNED: LONG REVIEW: So I was looking forward to receiving a much-wanted PC upgrade (Samsung Evo 1TB M.2 SSD) and I found Viking-Direct UK offering it at a lower price than any other retailers. As a Care-Giver who is on EXTREMELY low-income, this took me quite a few months to save up for this (£103 to be exact) and I was really looking forward to leaving a great review about a product I love. The fact is, they took the payment for my order within seconds, I received an email within a few more seconds saying "Thank you for your order" and that it was being processed etc. 1-2 Working Days Delivery time, this is a direct quote on the website. I understand that given the current coronavirus pandemic, things might be a little slower than this. So I ordered this product on the 30th of last month, it is now the 17th. Still NO PRODUCT. I checked my Order Status, it says "Order with Carrier". I decide to send an email on the 4th of the following month enquiring as to my order status, I get an automated response that someone will get back to me shortly. A few days later, I decide to call the contact number because I STILL have not had a response. THIS IS A WARNING. You will NOT get responses via email and Live-chat is ALWAYS offline. And the ONLY contact phone number has 3 options. 1. Make an Order. 2. Make a Payment. 3. Speak to someone regarding your Order status. I picked option 3. I called and picked Option 3 twice a day for 4 days straight and it was NEVER answered. I finally received an answer after I selected Option 2 to "Make a Payment". This says a lot. SEVERE lack of communication, no order status updates on website, no phone calls regarding your purchase or delivery time and the ONLY line that does get answered is the line that takes PAYMENTS. So this company is very helpful especially at TAKING MONEY, BUT NOT DELIVERING GOODS. So I finally got through to a person after selecting Option 2 and told this woman of my questions and concerns regarding my order, her response was "If it is not there by the 14th, please call again." So the 14th comes and goes, I call on the 15th to state that my package STILL had not arrived. Funnily enough, the woman was the same woman I spoke to the previous week, I'm not deaf or stupid so please stop saying "My colleague spoke to you regarding this" as if you don't know what I'm talking about and claiming that you can't do anything because you just work in the accounting department. The woman then states "according to our system, the order was marked as delivered." I checked with all my neighbours and called back within 30 minutes to confirm that no one has it. Considering I live in an apartment building that is mostly filled with over 60-year olds, I highly doubt any of them would be up for taking someone else's mail let alone know what to do with the product. So back to my experience. I called back and the same woman answered (no surprise there) and I told her "At this point, with all due respect, I just want a full refund and I wish to cancel the order. I've done nothing but read BAD reviews regarding your company and I just want to move on from this." Her responses were (THIS IS A DIRECT QUOTE) "I am sure those people were just EXAGGERATING." and " It wasn't as bad they are making it out to be." I asked to speak to her Supervisor. "He is not here at the moment." So I asked if he would be available at all today, " I don't know when he will be available." ... so only 1 person seems to actually work there and that person does not even know how to get hold of their Supervisor if a customer requests it. "Great!" (You can feel my eyes rolling as I said this) I am not exaggerating. I am stating EVERYTHING that happened, detail by detail. ... it IS as bad as I am making it out to be. This company has NO COMMUNICATION with its paying customers and downright REFUSES to process refunds. I'm still waiting for my refund. I have been told that she (the same woman from accounting) will be sending the Refund Request directly to her colleague and she would email me by tomorrow. This was yesterday morning. It is now going on 9PM the following day. Still no response. All I want is my money back. I will be posting this same review on other review websites and if I receive an automated response instructing me to email the website regarding this issue, I will be calling the company directly. Also, I will be reporting all of this to Trading Standards. (I never thought I would actually say that) So this is a friendly request to whoever is working at the company that reads these reviews: Please feel free to respond to my refund request and let us all move on with our lives.  Thank you for your time and to everyone else I give this friendly piece of advice, SHOP ELSEWHERE. I'm still waiting for my refund and I am sick of the automated responses. I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS BECAUSE THIS IS A JOKE. ...again, not exaggerating.

UPDATE - So within 48 hours of posting this review, my purchase FINALLY arrived. Was it me just being impatient and panicking because of the terrible reviews? Maybe.

My review of the Samsung Evo 1TB M.2 SSD - "My PC used to take between 1-2 minutes to fully boot up etc. Now with this device, it only takes 4 SECONDS! I cannot recommend this product enough to anyone looking for a suitable upgrade to improve their device."

Now whilst I did receive the product at an EXTREMELY cheaper price, I still stand by my previous statements. This company NEEDS a serious overhaul on all of their customer services, from Live Chat & phone lines to updates regarding Order Status and Order TRACKING. Nothing ever seems to be available. People cannot use the excuse anymore that workforces etc are not in office because of the pandemic or other circumstances etc, we live in 2020 AND all of this can be done from home. Whether it is emails, phone calls and live chat, people can do these from computers and even mobile devices now.

I do hope to maybe revisit this company in the future, but I also hope that by then, things will have improved. Thank you for my product and I do apologise if I came across as hostile in any way. Have a nice day!

“Awful”

I ordered an item on the 26th March which says it would be delivered in 2-3 days. This never happened, there was no email stating a delay to the delivery and they took payment from my account. Its now the 17th April and my item has still not been delivered. I have contacted viking on Facebook and via email about 6 times with my only reply being that the item is out of stock. I'm moving house in 7 days and I no longer want the item and this is shocking service even in these circumstances.

They have been chasing for the payment to me which is already paid. Before I pay I requested a copy invoice at least 10 times. I spoke to the customer team, chatted online and finally, I get a link for the invoice and paid within 2 working days. After I paid and emailed them proof of payment, they sent the debt to the legal team. I spoke to the legal team and explained everything, and they said everything is ok and they will contact Viking and if needed they will come back. However legal team never came back and I got an email from Viking today the bill is not not yet paid. What kind of genious work in Viking I am really wondering.
