I recently purchased 5 kitchen appliances from Appliance World, I was very very very cautious about placing the order especially after reading some of the comments. But the price was just to good to refuse when compared to the Kitchen installers quote.
I therefore placed the order and was crossing everything!!!
I am now have all items, and ahead of their initial suggested delivery date. I therefore do not have a bad word to say, but still crossing some elements as these have not been unpacked or tested as yet.
Well worth placing an order with them.

KEEP AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE!
On the 30th December 2009 I ordered a Neff Dishwasher S54M45X0GBI, the lady who took my order stated that delivery would be between 5 and 10 days. The lady also told me that she would confirm by email that payment was confirmed.
Not a word for two weeks so I rang only to here a recorded message. "Please state your query and telephone number and we will get back to you" Silly me they did not of course, emailed three times with no answer. Now getting very annoyed so called "Consumer Direct" and logged a dispute with them, Advised to write a letter requesting that order be cancelled due to the dreadful service letter sent "Recorded Delivery".
The following day had a phone call from Sales Manager, accusing me that I had given an incorrect email address when ordering. I asked why he had failed to contact me if that was the case, as they also had my address and telephone number at the order stage. Turns out that the lady had mis-spelt
it, my fault again I suppose. Sales Manager stated that he would speak to a Director and refund my money that afternoon - not a chance another two weeks sped by.
A further consultation with Consumer Direct" and a second logged dispute, advised again to write another letter reminding them that they had failed to process my refund. Unless I have received a full refund within seven days, I would have no alternative but to commence civil action in order to recover monies paid to Appliance Worldd. letter also sent "Recorded Delivery".
Eventually received the money back into my account eight weeks after ordering the dishwasher, no apologies from Appliance Whorld - nothing not a peep. Again don't buy anything from these wideboys

Very helpful staff. Goods were out of stock on website so they ordered them from manufacturers for me. Quoted a delivery time of 10 to 14 working days but actually delivered in 7 working days. Were flexible on the delivery as well. They rang the day before and I arrange for them to leave items in the garage because I couldn't be at home.

When our dishwasher failed, we started to look for a replacement. We did our research and eventually chose an AEG model that fitted the families needs. After calling a few different stores, we bought the machine from Appliance World because of how helpful they were. They checked all our sizes, that it had the features we wanted and they were one of the cheapest stores.
Turned up when they said it would and everyone was really friendly throughout, can't really ask for more.

I ordered a large quantity of Neff appliances for my newly fitted kitchen from appliance world. I liaised with one assistant who managed my order from start to delivery. Majority of the appliance arrived on time. However some were delayed through no fault of Appliance World. The delayed items were delivered by special couriers to ensure they arrived according to my time phase. I found the sales assistant to be very polite and he kept me informed of progress on the appliances on delay and he called on the times he agreed he would. I would have no hesitation to recommend this company to others

Appliance-World.co.uk:...Really quick service. Price was really competitive. Customer service was excellent from start to finish. When the goods arrived one of the levelling feet was missing, so they ordered a new one immediately from Hotpoint (which arrived 2 days later)...impressed with dealing throughout. Would recommend Appliance-World.co.uk & the FFA52S Hotpoint Fridge Freezer

It took Appliance World 6 weeks to deliver 4 items that were in stock according to the website. Delivery was a complete fiasco promised three dates before they and their delivery company finally got their act together. They are cheap but if I need something within a realistic time scale I'll elsewhere.

A week before Christmas and I want a dishwasher! Appliance World in Swindon were very helpful in getting me one. Unlike other on-line places they had not hiked up their prices on stock items for the Christmas rush. I chose the one I wanted, it was in stock, they got it from their warehouse that afternoon so my husband could pick it up the next day. Easy.

I would not recommend Appliance World. Three weeks with no delivery and unreturned emails. When I try to call i have just been getting the option to leave a message.

My advice with regards to Appliance World is go somewhere else - they sent me a quotation which looked good until I tried to place the order a couple of days later when the price had suddenly increased by 20% - they said owing to the change in VAT.
The new price of course was ridiculously uncompetitive.
There are some very good on line retailers out there - I will go to one of those rather than wasting time with these guys

Friendly and efficent sales staff on phone and in Sales floor, the warehouse is located near the salesroom to if items are in stock.
If they have to order in you are at the mercy of the manufacturer and Hotpoint seems to have slowed down.

Bought dishwasher from Appliance World which had a fault with it (immediate fault) which meant that if a certain programme was selected then the dishwasher could not be used for several days. Offered an inferior replacement (lower rated appliance) as exchange but I did not want this and had to issue charge back from creditcard. Seems this company is great when things go right i.e. item in stock and works but not so great when things go wrong. I would never use these again.

I will be using this company for future needs and will recommend to family/friends and anyone reading this review. The products are competitively priced and the stress was removed from spending in this money strapped period.

I feel I received poor service overall from Appliance World. Disappointing customer service, no callbacks received, no call to let me know when the product they have charged my card for is not in stock. And most annoyingly no refund received even when I have called them several times to remind them I have cancelled the order. It seems they have internal communication issues as the delivery company still called me even when there was no order for them to deliver!

I bought an Induction hob from this company and had the item within the agreed timescale of about 10 working days, had a Phone call and then a confirmation e-mail about delivery which arrived in the morning (they did say before 1pm which is useful).
No problems with the Hob all good!

Ordered a Baumatic Extractor and a Fagor Dishwasher from this company. Getting them delivered was protracted and frustrating with long delays and having damaged goods delivered that had to be returned. Promises and unreturned phone calls led to the cancelling of the order.
