“worming bin”

I ordered an item and as I was out Hermes put it in my worming bin with a card through door. Simply be said it was nothing to do with them what Hermes did and refused to give me contact details or apologise. The cost of ringing is extortionate. You cannot click and collect. Unlike Littlewoods they charge delivery. Useless.

I was a little dubious about using them with them being part of the marshall ward group and with the high interest...but im thrilled with the service so far. I only created my account on wednesday and now by Saturday I have recieved every single one of my orders and all in great condition and fab quality. One very happy customer indeed :)

“Awful company”

Ordered items, waited in for delivery, instead got a generic email days later saying item was not in stock. Customer service was rude and suggested I was being unreasonable for not understanding that the website (or 'internet' as she kept saying) wasn't updated as often as the warehouse stock list. Reading other reviews it seems that many, many customers have had the same problem. DON'T EXPECT TO GET YOUR ORDER!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

“appalling company”

On 2 separate purchases last year they made an 'error' with payments and tried to debit 2 lots of amounts from my debit card!! Bad enough but over the last few days, instead of refunding my card for a returned coat they've taken the purchase price again...Then after calling them and being promised a full refund by today... They've debited the delivery charge from my account again aswell!!! Apparently I mean nothing to them cos they've not even replied to my online complaint yet. This is beyond irritating, I could have been left with no money available in the bank thanks to these people...

“Appalling customer service ”

Had a bra fitting at simply be store , assistant would not take no for an answer and practically held me hostage half dressed until I bought something . I complained to Simply Be who sent an insipid reply and said I would get a letter from the actual store ! I'm still waiting 6 months on . Beyond disgusting customer service ! Will never use this company again

Awefull I signed up got 150 quid never had credit b4 I needed a microwave so orderd one all good for 24hours I checked again what a surprise they cancelled my order with no email nothing sly people give ya it n take it bk worse company I was told it was good but false recommendations I wouldn recommend this comany to no one

“Ordering online is such a hassle - not worth the effort”

To place and order online and pay for it is an nightmare. You cannot pay for your first order of place an order without filling out a questionnaire and then submitting it somewhere for approval to get a customer number. You then take this number and order. I only wanted to buy a dress pay with my credit card and go but not going to happen on this website The response I got when I asked if I could do this was "For security reasons, it will not allow you process your first order using a laser / debit / credit card online. Subsequent orders can be ordered online using your card once you receive a customer number." Unlike ever other website in the world including the likes of Amazon, littlewoods etc you can just pay and go, you do not need approval and a customer number, this is a joke

“Poor quality fabric”

I firstly would like to say how lovely the staff are in store however, considering you produce clothing for big girls, with chub rub, your fabric needs to be more durable. I could dress it up but why bother? It's fact. I am a size 16 and bought leggings, they bobbled up In between my thighs after one wear, you could argue I need to clearly lose the beef but it's not the point.

“Sending debt collector for non existing debt !!!”

I never used that shop, never ordered anything from them, but they sent me a a letter in which informed me that they sold my account to debt collectors company - Lowell Portfolio. Now I have to deal with this company and they threaten me that they will go to court. Anybody know how to solve this problem? I don't know what to do :( if any ideas contact me on [email protected]

“Using Debt Collector to collect a Non-existant debt”

My partner is being hassled for a debt that does not exist as she has never had any dealings with this company. All contact to date from Simplybe has been by SMS text requesting call backs on telephone numbers that do not appear to relate to simplybe and would cost money to call. The general telephone number on the website goes to an automated menu system (and costs 10p per minute) - which goes round in circles and never gets to a real person. Sending anything to the general email address advertised on the website is pointless as it bounces back advising that the email was not delivered as the e-address has permanent fatal errors So in short it has cost me money to find out that the company appears to be un-contactable although attempting to collect money from us via their phone system!!! Would I deal with this company? - not on your life - STAY WELL AWAY

“Delivered to wrong adress”

My boyfriend ordered a pair of shoes for my birthday two weeks before my actual day, only to get an email telling him we received our order and had been signed for when we contacted them about this they just said we had to wait as it maybe a mistake by the company that delivers(Hermes)we waited the two weeks they said and contacted them again with no help, but a letter coming out to our house within two weeks by this time my Birthday had come and gone we filled in the letter and signed it still to this day no info but they have taken the money out of his account that is over two months now RUBBISH company quick to take money but no help!

“Simply rip off!!”

We have had a few things out of simply be. We naively never read the statements. We went through them yesterday and were horrified!! We had a letter to say that we were behind by over £370 and we needed to pay asap. What happens is that because we pay monthly over a period of time its put us behind. There accounts are done four weekly. We didnt realise this and although we never miss payments we were made to feel like bad debters. Also only a small amount goes off your account when you make a payment because some of it is admin fee and some of it is interest even though they have already charged you over the odds for the items you buy off them! This company is a disgrace. We will pay off all of what we owe but we will never purchase anything again of this disgraceful company. If i can stop just one person from buying anything off these people then that will make me very happy.

“Bad company ”

My husband orderd clothes for my birthday we have never been in debt .. They sent us out two of everything when we realised what had happened .we called simply be and spoke to a lady , who said if you pay the us the full amount we will stop any admin coming to you for reminders .. We paid the full amount and still we are on a bad credit rating ..we paid the amount but was being charged for admin charges.. This is how theses company's are I'll never buy anything off this company again I have loads off friends and I'll be telling them not to shop with this bad company ... Disgusting customer care

I think a lot of people only write about things when they are not happy with products. But many of us fail to do so when we like the items. Or it could be that Simply Be has improved upon some of the issues so many people wrote about. I was very happy with quality and cost of the 3 dresses I ordered. I am also happy at the fast shipment! I has it all within a week and am a USA customer. Now, I am returning all 3 items as they do not look right on me, but the are truly lovely garments!And YES I would order from here again, however, let me see how my return goes before I do so!

“Horrible Customer Service!”

Ordered 5 dresses, ended up returning 3 of them. Received a credit that was $140 less than the amount of the 3 dresses. Called customer service and they claimed that I had been given a discount initially on my total order, plus free shipping, so this was all the money I had coming to me. Upon asking specifically what discounts had been applied to which dresses, I discovered that one of the dresses that I had kept, they showed as being one of the ones returned, and the dress that I HAD returned--they had no record of the return. The clincher was that the dress I had returned was WAY more expensive than the one I had kept, and they had refunded me for the cheaper dress. I explained that I still had the "returned" dress, and the girl claimed there was nothing she could do about it; something to do with an automated return system, like there was no way it could be wrong! I went upstairs, got the dress, read the item number, manufacturer/designer info off the tag, and described the dress. She just kept saying there was nothing she could do....SO WRONG!! I will never use this company again and will advise all friends and family to stay away!

“RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICE”

Opened an account and placed an order on the 4th. December 2013. An attempt was allegedly made to deliver, it wasn't, and my order was returned to Simply Be. Advised to reorder, which I did and the same thing happened again. Th address I requested delivery to is my work place which is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week so there was no excuse for non delivery. I enquired with the 2 Hermes Couriers who deliver to our building and both stated that they had not received a parcel to be delivered in my name. As for Customer service, non existent as it is, they couldn't even spell my name correctly. Never mind, I may get my order in time for next Christmas. Do not use this Company.

As a new customer I was dubious, I ordered my goods on 16 Dec 2013 which was pretty late I know. I was given an expected delivery date of 23 Dec, but all my orders were delivered on 19th and 20th. Website worked well. Products were exactly as advertised. Very happy with the service so far.

“Customer service awful”

I have bought boots that were great and arrived promptly in a week. However dealing with their customer service dept was terrible. I placed a second order online and put in wrong item number. It would be a easy fix the boots were even equal value. However I was told that that wasn't possible. Seriously?? I had just made the order I called within a minute of messing up. They would rather ship me wrong thing and then me ship it back? That's crazy. If their system can't correct a order mistake within a minute of placing order then they have a BIG problem. Even though I loved the product I will not do anymore business with them. The customer service agents are rude and arrogant.
