Excellent family break, visited here in September 2017 with my husband 2 year old and 6 month old baby.we all very much enjoyed it the lodge was 410 and about a 5-10 minutes walk from the sports and main village.we all went into the swimming pool and was things for us all! My 2 year old did activities daily and they were very enjoyable and the staff were very knowledgable and friendly.there was lovely wild life on the door step.we stayed in a 3 bedroom lodge which had everything we needed enough towel, bedding, kitchen utensils.it was basic but exactly what we needed for our break.my little ones are happy and exhausted from all the fresh air and fun! We would definitely go again!

Been told Rapids are closed due to maintenance which I can understand asked to move to another park as this is the main reason we go for the Rapids told no and basically go suck eggs!!!!

Been going to center parcs Notts for years and year. But I have to say I will not be returning anymore. I found the villas cleanliness substandard Villa smelt strongly of cigarette smoke beds uncomfortable microwave dirty Villa cold Staff in forrester and cafe rouge disinterested in serving you Food cold in sports cafe Public areas constantly overcrowded, talk about getting away from it all, it's quieter in rush hour at Oxford Circus!!!

I visit Center Parcs every year and have for the past 30 years. I was extremely disappointed with the standard of the accommodation this time. Our woodland lodge was mouldy and damp, and so it stank and felt uncomfortable. The accommodation was run down and in need of a refurb, for example paint peeling off doors. In addition there was a horrific smell in the kitchen of rotten eggs.

We enjoyed our break at Sherwood Forest center parks so much that i have already booked for next year and i only got back yesterday. We loved the squirrels so much, they greeted us every morning for their nuts. So nice to see wildlife and birds, rabbits in abundance. The pool was amazing fun for all ages. The lakeside beach was a lovely idea for little ones to play on. All in all it was a wonderful holiday with many activities ensuring that you will never get bored. Amazing!!!

Enjoyed our break but will not be returning as family we much prefer Whinfell which is much more compact & enjoyable Felt the lake was huge let down as no proper seating areas. The swimming pool wasn't very inviting for folk who don't do water slides not much else for them to do & lack of showers !

Eating out very expensive. But I suppose you have the choice to bring your own. But who wants to cook all the time on holiday....overall the weather made it an enjoyable experience.. 3 stars..

Perfect combination of peaceful forest setting with crazy swimming pool rapids and good choice of activities. Always something to do - not always involving money! Recommend Sherwood - people are friendly and helpful.

Had to clean our villa when we arrived, the whole place stunk of curry and there was sweet wrappers and chocolate stuffed down the side of the sofa cushions. Loose electrical sockets aren't ideal when you've got a toddler either. You would expect more for £1800 for the week! Police were called to the villa next door to us half way through the holiday. Was assured by security there was nothing else to worry about. Was kept awake that night with shouting from next door and the diesel engine of the security 4x4 driving past throughout the night. After 2 days our party started to feel ill with flu like symptoms. Ended up cutting our holiday short. We are now all on antibiotics and advised by our Dr it's more than likely airborn bacteria that's caused this.

Ants in our lodge, bathroom towel rails did not work so could not dry towel so could only swim once. Bowling lane did not work no bowling shoes for 3 yr old. When you look at competitors in the area of sherwood or longleat then they are worth considering as they generally offer the same for less money

I went to Sherwood Centre Parc, with not a lot of optimism. I was pleasantly surprized. The accomodation was so lovely and clean and spacious! The attractions were just right for families with children and the staff were ALL very attentive. Even the general market was not too ever-priced and the scenery was peaceful.

we went with a group of children with learning disability the staff were not helpful and did nothing to support when one child became ill on the day of departure. we paid over two and half thousand pounds and did not even use one lodge booked due some children were not able attend due to ill health we never got any refund nor support . We requested few hours extension due to child vomiting however they refused and we had to take the child in that state out in the cold while we waited for transport. we were very disapointed that they were not caring, it was buisness and were only interested when we would leave so they could clean for the next family. this was the management at a very high level incharged of centre parc.

As a Center Parcs fan having visited since it first opened in the UK in the 1980's but not having visited the Sherwood site for a number of years I was a little worried when I read some of the reviews listed on Trip advisor. However I did not need to have worried in any way everything was up to a very acceptable standard some people may feel it is a little expensive but I feel for what you get, always provided with excellent service levels, it is good value. It is easy to navigate and very stress free with lots to do and see our grandkids's like the ducks and squirrels which came right up to our lodge. Will return

Very poor choice for a family with young children. You need to compete with the other guests to get access to the overpriced activities many of which are booked up weeks before you ever get to the site. Can not remember when I have been on holiday to a place where I needed to bring my own toilet roll or where there was no wifi/phone/3g/mobile reception

My husband and I have just enjoyed a 4 night stay at Sherwood Forest CenterParcs. The setting is beautiful and we were surrounded by wildlife including ducks, swans, rabbits and squirrels all who came to visit us on our patio every day which proved to be a unique experience. The sub-tropical dome was lovely and I will not forget swimming outside in the really warm water and looking up at the stars. We went bowling, had a go on the driving range and my husband really enjoyed Archery target practice and discovered he is really good at it we also enjoyed some lovely walks in the forest. We cannot wait to return in the future.

Just come back today , from Sherwood. We were there to celebrate my 70th birthday & my granddaughters 4th birthday. We stayed in ash 903. It was great parking right by our villa. Accmodation was very good. All the staff very nice. Food and drinks, we're a little expensive. Supermarket we'll stocked, best one we have been into. Would I go again ? (Yes) if you need your kids to burn off some energy this is the place to go.

same here just returned today from mon we paid for COMFORT PLUS lodge. NOTHING comfortable about it whatsoever most horrible hard sofa Ive ever sat on. radiators omg the dirt and dust embedded in them disgracefull. old chip wallpaper in a horrid colour. window frames falling apart. No cupboards for our food had to re arrange all to be able to put our food away. we had to wait extra hour before we could go in on arrival. pans which would not get hot enough to do chips with.no power in the gas cooker. on day of leaving had the cleaner knocking at 8-30am we told her politely to go away. we had paid till 10am we rang management on our arrival to air our complaints. was supposed to get back never did so we will be making a formal complaint. also we cleaned that cabin throughout before leaving was cleaner than we got to live in....would we go back ??? Bet your life on it we WOULDNT
