I ordered a set of bi-fold doors on 4th November 2013 paying over £1K for them. A few days later I was contacted by the company (J C I Doors) who were supplying the doors to Wickes, to be told that the doors were not actually with the company but had to be shipped from abroad. “Tenby take away kitchen Top of the take away range”

I had a customer who liked the Tenby kitchen range, top of the range take away units. Wickes say takeaway beware NOT every store does,as they state in each store, 2 hours wasted. I ordered online my bank released funds, Wickes declined. Had to locate a store that had the units another 3 hours. Got the units and spent £1200. “Bath panel fixing instructions”

I have had great difficulty in interpreting instructions for the assembly of Wickes MDF side and end bath panels.I cannot believe that the instruction sheet was produced by a person with any basic practical ability. Simply naming the instructions 'generic' is a cop out and does not excuse sloppy practice. A simple read through and ten minutes spent in revision was all that was necessary. “DO NOT USE HOME DELIVERY”

I placed an order for large bulky items and within a few hours I received a call from our area branch arranging for delivery the following Thursday. The day before delivery I contacted the branch to check on delivery only to be told we are not coming on Thursday, but it will be Saturday. No excuses, no apology and no customer service whatsoever. “Wickes kitchen......run fast the other way!”

“Thermo Ash Worktop TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY”

If you considering purchasing a Thermal Ash worktop from Wickes, I suggest you don't!! go for a laminate. I purchased my kitchen and bathroom from Wickes and have no complaints with them, my complaint is with the manufacturer Volume Trading who supply the Thermal Ash worktops. “3 months to install bathroom”

Paid over £2000 for a fitted bathroom, new fitters did a great job but Wickes Shrewsbury didn't help with giving them the wrong toilet and sink ! Then the toilet had a part missing so a basic one was installed for a few days, then various missing parts from the bath and pipework made another trip back to the store on the cards ! “refund ”

After being in the store for 1 hour trying to get the correct refund. My wife who is a pensioner wanted a refund but the store manager and staff could not see it. The store was a collection of idiots in fact that is a insult to idiots ,by the way she came out with the correct refund but was completely insulted by the staff. “Don't do online deliveries”

I order a gate and asked for Saturday delivery at extra cost. I rang on the Friday to confirm the delivery was still arriving on Saturday and got told it is scheduled for the Saturday. Rang Saturday morning and got yes still scheduled for the Saturday and will arrive by 5pm. 3pm on Saturday rang to make sure delivery still on route, oh yes still scheduled and will be there by 6pm. “dont do it!!!”

we had our kitchen installed in April - where do I start day 2 after completion cupboard door falls off!! fitter comes round next day puts in back on!! 2 weeks later another door falls off - fitter not answering phone/text we fix door ourselves - they replace all our plumbing !!! week 6 kitchen flooded!!fitted comes round says dont know where its leaking from but puts tape round the pipes and a bowl!!! says he will return in a couple of days to check - never appeared - customer call to so… Read Full Review

I wish I had read this earlier I also had a wickes kitchen fitted on the 2nd September 2013 and today the 24th of October it still isn't finished. The workmanship is rubbish I have units with brackets falling off plynths with gaps I I have already had 7 cupboards removed 2 fridges replaced as they damaged when fitting I call customer services and get fobbed off ive no clue who to talk to my dream kitchen has turned into a nightmare which cost just over 10k never again will I use wickes for anything

So sorry about that, our problem is still on going Wickes are sending another builder to replace the plinths and part of the floor that is flood damaged !! but this has been ongoing since April - 6 months!!! also noticed that the dishwasher door has now moved and having trouble opening and closing it !!! bloody disaster - hope you sort it out what I did was email the head of customer service here is his email address alanhowe@wickes.co.uk . once I had sent him an email explaining problems customer service did start the ball rolling to try and get it sorted - send him an email and see what happens - Good luck

Having been to my local wickes store on Benton Park Road I am really upset by the service . After asking for a delivery for "nextday" of decorative garden stones. I was told the delivery charge is £25.00, This was put thew the till paid for then I was asked "when do you want them?" as soon as possible was my answer . To which I was told Monday or Tuesday. “Awful level fo service for online deliveries”

Here is a letter I sent to the Head of Customer Services. I would NOT recommend using Wickes for online deliveries: Dear Sir I wish to make a complaint about a recent web order. I made, and paid for my order online on Tuesday 16 July. I needed everything by the weekend, so that I could do repair work. I agree wholeheartedly with this review.
Delivery was on the wrong day, when we just off to a funeral. The delivery men were absolutely obnoxious, refusing to bring the items into the house (they were after a tip, which they would have got had they been slightly more agreeable).
After lugging the 3x45kg worktops indoors we just made it to to aforementioned funeral on time.
Anyway, the next day, we received an identical delivery, the drivers on this occasion much more pleasant and said it 'happens all the time'.
In addition the quality of the stuff when it was actually installed was ropy. A big thumbs down for Wickes.
Avoid.

we had 5 skipton clear pine doors delivered, all warped and spilt within days, I am a carpenter and I have hung 100's of doors, never any problems, until wickes doors, I got my money back after many phone calls over about 6 weeks , I will NEVER use wickes again… Read Full Review

“WONDERFUL until you spend your money...”

The delivery of our kitchen/tiles etc was a complete and utter farce. We arranged Saturday, got a text Wednesday telling us it was being delivered AM. Contacted store (Glasgow) to sort out, they told us don't worry it'll be Saturday. Then on Thursday got text telling me it was to be delivered AM. “Complete rubbish”

Was told it would be delivered on a certain day between 10am and 3pm. Only to be told at 4pm it would not be delivered because the delivery van had broken down. Hi Masterplaster - what a disaster !
I've only given 2 ticks, for deliveries from Wickes.
Mine didn't turn up until after four-forty
and that I found to be equally as naughty.
It's when the time reaches twenty past ten
that's when you are expected to say,
Wickes ..........Never Again !

“Dreadful service”

Had to go into showroom to order a worktop as couldn't do this online. Showed "designer" sample who said she had to order it. Difficult to get delivery, when it arrived it was the wrong one (unfortunately it arrived at 7.20 am and we didn't check it as carefully as we should have as we had two small granddaughters to look after) - completely different from one we wanted to order.
