I am deeply upset as I ordered an extra large bouqet of pink lillies and roses for £50 for my nans 80th birthday. When I went to see her and see the flowers I was furious. There is no way I got any value for money, 2 lillies and 3 roses in the bunch and it was tiny. I have written a complaint to them and currently waiting for a reply. The flowers I ordered were for a siblings important birthday plus to as a thank you for helping my wife and I at our recent wedding. We therefore picked an expensive bouquet and added a card with a pleasant message. The birthday fell on a bank holiday however I was able to select a delivery window of 0800-1800 from the website and therefore felt confident there would be no problems. “Deeply disappointed - ruined a special occasion. ”

This was a special bouquet for my mother's 80th birthday. The first problem was, although technically arriving "on time" it did not arrive until 8pm, which is of little use for someone's birthday. We were then deeply disappointed with the quality of the arrangement. It was chosen for the variety of leaves and colours, which is shown clearly on the website. I am absolutely furious with interflora and would not recommend them to anyone again! Having ordered one of their speciality Month birthday bouquets for my mothers 60 birthday they did not deliver it - despite sending me 2 emails that day telling me not to worry as it was all taken care of! Having read many negative reviews about Interflora I would like to offer my view. Each Interflora florist is individual. My daughter owns a florist in Bournemouth and she is a member of Interflora. Its a fact that she puts the full value of the order into all of her bouquets and she tries to make the product as close to the picture as possible. This obviously isn't always possible due to availability and price!

Unfortunately if you order online from some florists own websites you are actually ordering from a 'central' warehouse and not from the florist themselves - this is not always obvious from the website. As a florist I received abouquet costing over £55 that had obviously been in its packaging for more than a day and the flowers were dropping when I received it - the person who ordered it thought it was coming directly from the local florist but it was not. I complained and a replacement bouquet was sent - in perfect fresh condition (still over priced in my opinion though! I would advise finding florist in the area you want the delivery and speaking to them direct and checking exactly what will be in the bouquet and when those flowers will arrive at the florist's from the wholesaler/dutch lorry. Don;t put up with substandard or old flowers!

Ordered flowers, a card and chocolate for my girlfriend to be delivered to her house. Order was made on Monday, for delivery on Tuesday. Tuesday morning I made a call to Interflora, which was answered straight away, and asked them if they could make the delivery at 5:30 p.m. or there would be no one to collect the flowers. A friend kindly sent me a 'beautiful basket arrangement' through Interflora via Jeans of Luton, it was dreadful, flowers were either crushed or had half the petals missing, it was mainly greenery of a very poor quality, brown, dried up, in a single word old. I have chucked better flowers in the bin.

I've used Interflora a number of times over the years and unfortunately I've only recently seen an example of what they actually deliver. I had a Spring bouquet delivered to my grandmother and happened to visit her shortly afterwards. The cheap, sparse and wilting bouquet on my granmothers table was hideous and could have been picked up for a fiver in the local petrol station. I received a birthday flower arrangement today (ordered by my partner who is working abroad)only one word for it DREADFUL!

The picture ont he website shows a densely packed bunch of flowers in a vase, what I actually received was sparse to say the least, and would have cost no more than £3 in any supermarket. In fact my granddaughter bought me a bunch of flowers for £5 from Tesco that has twice as much in!

I have used interflora a few times and must admit you never think you will not get what you pay for - on 26/04/11 - I had a bouquet delivered to a cousin who recently had some sad news coupled with her birthday - so ordered a bouquet that was deliberately bright and cheery to lift her spirits. Absolutely dreadful - do not order with them. I paid £50 and ordered them on the 20th of April and paid same day delivery - they never came, so I just called and they said they could place another order but it would not arrive until MAy 5th!? and it might not be the Kenyan Roses I had ordered, but some other selection...I was livid. I brought a flower arangement for my mum for mothers day, I decided to upgrade the flowers by another £20 so they were extra special, well what a total waste of money. The so called flowers were brown around the edges, the lillys looked as if they should of been in the bin. By the following morning most of the flowers had wilted. I placed an order with interflora for mothers day and a mother's day balloon i usually buy at asda but was to ill and decided to order on-line.

I was very dissapointed when i actually seen the flowers you could have had a better bunch from aldi and she never received her balloon but had a very small box of chocolates instead.

Wish i had a look at the reviews first, i would never place an order with interflora again.

Furthermore, I have spent over 30 minutes on hold waiting for someone to follow up on the issue. After finally speaking to someone and telling them that the order has not been received I was then given 3 different numbers that all added to more time on hold. Ordered flowers to be delivered on mothers day 4rd April 2011 - Still waiting for flowers.

Have spent alot of time trying to contact interflora since sunday. When I did get through I was told the flowers were delivery, which was not the case. They contacted the florist, I am still waiting for a reply now.

Presently on phone, on hold waiting for reply.

Spoke to Customer Services Advisor yesterday who informed me they had been delivered (which they hadn't) tried emailing twice and phoning over nine times roday only to be disconnected by there answering service as the lines are all busy. Totally disgusted at the flower arrangement which I ordered for my Mum for Mother's Day. I spent £34.14 for what I expected would be a grand display (nothing like the photograph) and was very annoyed when what was delivered was nothing more than a small posy of flowers. hello, i am actually an interflora florist myself, who is exhausted after doing over an 80 hour week last week. There are many queries such as this which need to be resolved. I am sorry to tell you, although you ordered the large spring brights perfect gift vase, you need to bear in mind, what comes out of that cost. The curved nigella vase that comes out of the price is £6.99, then the sisal collar that goes around the flower is £1. Which leaves you with a whopping £24. Then a percentage needs to come off for the makeup that the florist charges to create a vase arrangement, which leaves you with on average £18. Then in the spring brights vase is two stems of genista, £1.30 a stem at peak periods due to the high demand. 3 mini gerbera, £1.20 each. 1 ilios yellow rose, £2.20, 3 spray carnations £2.50, 2 tulips, £0.80 each, 2 anemones £0.90each. Then aprox £3 for foliage. The total for this comes to £17.30. As you see, the money does not go far, so would like you to try and appreciate that when peak periods are happening, our prices go up considerably and we need to take majority of the cost. I found this review very helpful because...what the florist is saying it true, also what she hasn't said how much interflora takes out, over 34% !"!!! not much left for the florist to make any kind of profit.
