I ordered a mens wallet from this website and received the incorrect one. After emailing them a photo of the incorrect wallet along with my order confirmation confirming that the wallet I received was not the one I ordered, they failed to get back to me. They have disappeared and don't want to know. Please do not order anything from this website unless you want to loose your money.

“Very dissapointed with quality”

I bought my Louis about three years ago under the impression that it would look better with age and never fall apart and even if it did they would stand behind the product! Well that's not the case mine started cracking all around the bag and when I took it to the Lenox square store in atlanta Jill the quality specialist took pictures of and said she would call me after she spoke with her superior,well after two weeks and no call I try to call her and she never replies, so ladies think long and hard about these thousand dollar handbags you covet because unlike coach they do not stand behind their products.i will never purchase another Louis Vuitton!!!

I purchased a mens wallet through louisvuittonbagsaustraliastore and sent me the incorrect wallet. I emailed them a photo of the incorrect wallet which I received along with order confirmation that the wallet I received was not the one I ordered. I have always wanted to purchase a Louis Vuitton bag. After making the decision to make the purchase I never thought within 3 years my bag would start cracking around the edges and side pockets. I took the bag back to the South Park store in Charlotte NC hoping to at least get it repaired. I spoke with a nice gentleman, and he was very encouraging. He told me to leave the bag with him and it would take about a week. He did not think it could be repaired but had words of encouragement that they would most likely do something to work with me. When I left the store I was pleased that I was told something would be done. I received a call in 2 days after my visit and was told nothing could be done! They told me that the news was not good! I was shocked and could not believe what I was being told. I have had several Coach bags that have been great at a much better price. I am very disappointed with the quality of a bag that is so expensive and the store not standing behind their so called great products!

Hi I tried to buy a Louis Vuitton Bag online with 3 different debit and credit cards and it did not work. I asked to my bank if there was something wrong in my cards and they told me that my cards were all fine. I call the assistance for asking some help but they told me that they did not have any idea what to do and to go in a shop.

I bought mine Damier Ebene handbag at Louis Vuitton boutique in Valley Fair Mall, the next day I brought it back to exchange it because I noticed that the handles were already wrinkles, and the gold hardware didn't look right. It just look like somebody has used it already and returned it. They didn't let me exchange, they said the handbag have been used, I was very shocked,and upset because I just got it yesterday. I couldn't do nothing though. Please look at the items you purchase very carefully before you walk out the store, because there no way you can return or exchange it. Anyways, I was not really disappointed because before I purchased my bag, I bought a key holder from there, I used it for couple days and returned it because the top of it look crooked. I was glad the SA and the manager were so stupid, and let me returned it. It was a different manager though, so I think depend on which manager you gonna see. Anyways I will have them replace mine soon, I don't like how the gold hardware look so old and have a lot of scratches.

“AWFUL .... JUST AWFUL”

I have since sent this letter to your head office and i have not had a response and none from the store either - shocking serv- why not???? shocking service 4th September 2012 To Whom It May Concern: I write as I feel it is a last resort to my matter, which in short should have been simple to resolve. It has, I now regret escalated in to me writing to you for some help on the matter. I bought an overnight bag from your Birmingham store along with a new wallet on 07th July 2010. I used the bag maybe twice and the threading on the strap had started to come away. I took the strap back to the store along with my receipt to get this fixed (It was on 4th July 2011. I remember this date as I was going away in the afternoon) The shop assistant said it would be easy to fix and I could either wait or pop back, I had a few things to do in town so popped back. When I returned the shop assistant came out and explained it would be something that he would have to send away and I would need to pop back in a few days to collect. I popped back after my trip on 8tn July 2011 to collect the strap and also buy a new wallet as mine had been stolen. Only to be told it was not ready for me. I asked for it to be posted back to me as I only go in to Birmingham a couple of times a year. He said it would be possible but I would have to pay a charge as you only send things out by courier. I refused this as I felt this should have been done complimentary due to the goods becoming defective. I forgot all about the strap until I came to use the bag again. The next time I went in to Birmingham I popped in to collect my strap again about 12 months on. I was told that I could not have left my strap as there was no paper work or anything on the system. She said she would look in to this and call me back. 4 weeks later I get a phone call from a lady explaining that as there is no paper work she can not “just give out stock to any one” but would have the store manager call me the following day. I am still waiting for this call. I am a loyal customer to the brand but feel on this occasion feel let down. The staff in the store have failed to fill out the “paper work” that should be done and now I am being made to feel like I’m the one in the wrong. I am left with a bag that has no strap and a very bitter taste in my mouth. You are a luxury goods retailer but unfortunately on this occasion you do not have the customer service nor the after care that one would expect of such a retailer. Several occasions I have been promised calls back by your staff but not once has this been done. I very much look forward to hearing back from you with a swift solution to my complaint. Yours sincerely AND STILL NO RESPONSE

“buyer beware...they do not take returns!!!! this is wrong.”

They fabricated marks on the bag and sent it back, a very generic form letter. The bag was in perfect condition and was out of the box twice before deciding to return...they said they had photos but could not release them to me....VERY SUSPECT as the purse had NO marks at all! They should not be dealt with on any level as they are dishonest...I was lied to. They are not a reputable company.

LV now employ a super star American as the Grandest of CEO powers for the whole concern, and you don't talk back to him and continue working there. It's
rare that the customer isn't the winner. I heard the man speak on the topic and
he said the actual cost of letting the customer win was negligible, and the huge
PR budget wouldn't touch the sides and wouldn't have the same outcome as the
let 'em win philosophy which was bulk cheaper to run.

“Not Worth The Money!”

My husband purchased a bag and wallet for me in December, 2009. I have not used this bag daily and it is in perfect condition EXCEPT for the handle strap. The leather on the strap has frayed to the point that it is attached by only a few stitches. I took it to the store where it was purchased, showed them the problem, they took pix and said they would get back to me. After 1 week and no response I called back. They claimed quality control was "backed up" and they would get back when they heard something. Finally when I heard back I was shocked. They claim quality control says the problem is due to wear and tear and They will happily repair it for $500. I asked who else I could speak to and was given the 800 number for cusyomer service they told me, based on what i told them there was mothing i could do they had mo information, would mot or could mot look up my information or the pictures thst were taken. When i asked who else i could speak with I was told "no one." I have no further recourse. Please DO NOT PURCHASE an LV bag unless you are willing to spend the money they charge for a bag that will only last 2 years with minimal use. The bag quality is inferior, they have NO acceptable customer service, and they basically could care less once they get your money

“Terrible Customer Service, Quality no longer as good”

I own several higher end LV handbags and they are not the entry level type. Due to high demand by tourist and locals alike, they don't seem to care about the customer service anymore. I don't use them often and have noticed some stitching coming off, a tiny section of the leather cracked, some discolouration at the gold zipper. When I took it to the store, they seemed dismissive saying that is normal wear and tear which is ridiculous because I hardly use them and store properly. Also it's a higher end model and I don't expect this. I then wrote to the customer service online and they give u a standard answer to go to your nearest store. I paid for quality & customer service and didn't get it. No more LV for me. I'll be switching to other brands for sure.

“LOUIS VUTTON QUALITY TERRIBLE”

I own many, many L.V. Bags, briefcases,wallets etc. So I was totally blown away when I returned my Mom's wallet ( I bought her for a gift 3 years ago) an area of stitching had come out where it holds the credit cards, I thought no problem I paid a lot of money and I am sure they will repair it, WRONG. They called it "wear and tear" and refused even though they commented otherwise the wallet was in excellent condition, which it was. My Mom is 76 years old and doesn't even get out much. So if the wallet was obviously very well taken care of I said wouldn't it be a defect in the stitching? Of course they would not even consider that, so THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at L.V. Anymore and you DO NOT GET what you PAY FOR ! Quality has gone Downhill Big Time ! Never Again will they get my $$$$$$$

“Beware of Louis Vuitton”

Beware before you purchase a Louis Vuitton! I have a Totally MM that I purchased 8/10. The canvas began to crack so I sent it in for repair/evaluation. Long story short they told me it was not covered due to excessive use. To make matter worse the store employee (Kevin in Raleigh, NC) handed me the paper work to review and as I was reading it I began to flip to the next page. He then grabbed the paper out of my hand and told me I could't read that part because it was confidential. So I now feel like you get poor service, poor quality and I will no longer purchase LV. I hope others will learn from my experience and consider buying another luxury brand that values customer.

I also purchased a LV Totally MM bag and in less than a year the strap snapped right off. I took it to the LV store in Saks on 5th Ave in NYC and was told there was indeed a quality issue with the straps on the Totally MM. They exchanged if for me on the spot and assured me that the issue had been resolved. I should have asked for a different style because in less than a year after that the strap started to tear again in the same place as the first. This time they replaced the strap. I walked around with my "frankenpurse" , the leather was a different patina and look patched together! Now in less than another year it is braking again in the same spot! I am so angry and not looking forward to the hassle of trying to get this issue resolved again! Seriously, for this kind of money LV should make a better quality product. I am so disappointed!!

“BAD QUALITY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE”

I have a Louis Vuitton wallet that I purchased a few years ago that seldom use. In January of 2011 I took it to the store in Beverly Hills to have the snap replaced. To my surprise the snap that replaced the old one was of a cheaper quality, smaller, and it did close automatically like the prior one. I was disappointed and brought it to their attention and they practically called me a liar; their wallets had the same snap forever. I must to have dreamt this stuff. What attracted me to this wallet in the first place was this particular feature so I was highly disappointed. Five months later the cheap ugly snap they used broke so I took the wallet to the same store again. This time I pointed out that when they sold me the wallet they had offered lifetime warranty, which they denied. In fact, the person who assisted me started arguing this point with me. What a horrible experience. This company is not only over rated, but over priced. They should pay us to carry their products with their ugly logo LV. Whoever said horrible doesn't deserv 1 star was right.

worst customer experience ever. I got a limited edition purse from lv in beverly hills, ca for my bday. i used it twice and after one year of using it twice, the logo was coming off. in addition, i received a letter in the mail that lv has been sued because this purse i bought was defective. i went down to the store they would NOT help me. i called corporate they would NOT even let me speak to a manager. they said "too bad theres nothing we can do and we do NOT care." i also received another lv purse for my bday and the zipper broke off. lv fixed it once and then it broke off again. lv was going to charge me $800 to fix the broken zipper. you pay a premium price for a horrible product and customer service. NOT worth it. I've bought purses at Target and it lasted 8 years. Target has better quality purses and customer service than LV. I will never buy a LV purse again. I tried selling my OTHER lv purses, belts, wallets etc.; the value of the purse drops 80% lower once you walk out of the store. ive tried selling the purses at consignment shops and on ebay. ive only worn them a few times (no damage, mint condition) i was offered only 20% for what i paid for. if you really want a lv purse buy a used one. i was under the impression LV purses last a lifetime and can be passed down to your children. HaHaHa the jokes on us guys. The quality of the purses went down significantly. your better off finding a lv purse that your friends grandmother has, it was better quality back then.

I had bought a Louis Vuitton handbag at Saks Fifth Avenue in Orlando Fl and wanted to return it. I brought in the original receipt and only after a week you would think they would take it back. The bag was never worn or brought outside of the house. They would not take it back because they said there was a little spot of light discoloration and I could not even see it. They had stated that it was not a resellable bag and would not take it back. I insisted and wanted to speak with the manager and I was told that we was on vacation. The customer service here is horrible and they are difficult in their return policy. I would not buy anything from LV or recommend anyone to Saks. They don't stand behind their customer service policy and it was a bad experience. Next time, if anyone is buying a LV bag, make sure you inspect it very well especially on the handle. A lot of people have tried it on and touch it and I was told that even hand lotion or wet hands can immediately leave a little color changed. I told them that it was probably there when I first bought it without inspecting it carefully. I didn't get a chance to observe it carefully. Anyhow, I was not even offered any alternative solutions to return it. As a business owner, that is poor customer service right there. They are actually trying to resell the bag. If I have to take anything back for the customer, I would send back to the manufacture or take the loss. I was willing to take a restocking fee, but it was not even offered by the sell associates. I wish I can go further on this and report them to the Better Business Bureau.

I would highly recommend Louis Vuitton for anyone that wants to be taken seriously, I'm sure Paris Hilton has a bunch of them, which speaks volumes of the class and quality of this product. However, this year I bought a mini pochette accessories in the Damier Ebene style and absolutely love it. Each year from now on, I will buy a new bag-until I have all that I want. I am good to my bags, so they will last a while.

I got my first LV (Speedy) in the mid-eighties and abused it by throwing it around and dragging it everywhere. I never covered it when not in use, which was not often, and it lasted 20+ years and is still in style. When I wanted to replace it, my husband thought I was crazy to spend that much on a purse until I told him how old the Speedy was and that you could still purchase the same style bag, so now even he is sold. I now own a damier azure for summer, a black monogram multicolore for year-round use, and a popincourt haute for everyday use. Being a little older and wiser now, as well as more invested financially, I keep my bags covered and rotate their use to preserve them. What other bag can hold up as well and still be in style for 20 years? And most styles are roomy enough to hold all my junk. I also have some leather Coach purses and they look worn after only one season. It amazes me that the coated linen material of the LVs outlast leather so well (I don't know about the LV leather products and assume they wear as well any leather wears). My only complaint is about the service at a local dept. store when the multicolores first came out - they were sold out of the one I wanted and I was put on a "waiting list". That was several years ago and I still haven't gotten that call! However, they have been very gracious to repair broken keychains and such on the spot. I love this line of purses and hope to purchase a white multicolore in the near future. I highly recommend them. For those who have had problems in the other reviews, perhaps really checking the bag out well in natural and artficial light and turning them over several times to investigate seams and leather is the way to go. I would do this in a LV boutique, not a dept. store, even if you have to drive a while to get there.

I tryed ordering a bag online but it was allways out of stock, so i called customer service asking if i can backorder it or atleast if they can give me some information on when they will receive more product. Customer service told me that if i want it i have to keep checking, and its all based on how bad i want this bag. I was uphold by this rude answer on such an expensive purchase. So i waited and ordered it when it was in stock, my order was canceled by their system without a call or anything, aparently this system can not be overided. I was told that i can not order on line and the only way for me to get their product is to go at a store, and if they have it in stock i can order it. Worst customer service I have encountered in my life. So I bought a Prada product instead that is much nicer and received great customer service and help.

My husband bought my first and LAST Louis Vuitton bag for Christmas several years ago. I used it sparingly and the stitching came loose on both sides of the bag. I took it to the Denver store and encountered the rudest sales clerk. He said that it would cost more to fix it than to buy another bag. Why should I pay $1200 and not expect some product service. Poor quality and workmanship and absolutely no customer service if the product doesn't hold up.
