“I would give Negative stars if possible”

★☆☆☆☆

written by eyRamos111 on 27/04/2021

If it were possible to give negative stars, I would. I booked a vacation package with Jetline Holidays on 24 Sep 2020 and paid $2250.90 in full on 25 Sep 2020. On 16 April 2021, I was informed by phone that my vacation was cancelled and that I could get a voucher for travel later. Per Jetline's own web-site, "If we are constrained by circumstances beyond our control to alter significantly any of the main characteristics of the travel services that make up your package you will have the rights set out below:" And then goes on to list 3 alternatives the last one being "a full refund of all monies you have paid to us". The first two alternatives do not apply. In spite of a total of 15 separate phone calls to multiple representatives of Jetline Holidays, I have been unable to get confirmation in writing of the cancellation or obtain a refund of my payment. The representatives have promised many things none of which included a refund of my payment. They say that the airline cancelled my trip not their company. Well guess what, my contract is with the Jetline Holidays not an airline. I urge everyone to reconsider booking with this company. You will be sorry if any problems arise.

“Finally Booked!”

written by RaidenChapman on 18/03/2021

Fab! Looking forward to travelling again. Had my holiday cancelled due to COVID, but that was to be expected. Better to be safe than sorry. Have booked with Jetline in several times in the past 5 years and they always deliver. I struggled initially to get through to them, but the agent explained that they too had been affected by the pandemic. I knew what I wanted and he was very efficient and got it all booked up for me. Fingers crossed everything opens before Sept.17th and I get to go to sunny Crete.

“Failed Greece Trip”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Spenceez1977 on 06/08/2020

I booked a trip to Greece on Jetline travel for my wife and I in May. I gave them an $1800 deposit with $1200 due later. Before it was time to pay the $1200 it became obvious that the trip would be cancelled due to COVID-19, since Greece was closed to tourists at the time and is still closed to those in the US. I did receive a phone call from the travel agent but the connection was so bad every time he called that I couldn't understand him. I sent an email requesting a refund and never received a response. I tried calling, first to return the call to the agent be office but there in never anyone answering the calls and the don't return messages. Stay away from Jetline travel.

“Don't use these agents!”

written by CathiA on 06/07/2020

I booked a "great deal" advertised through Travel Zoo and of course, was not surprised to see that it was cancelled due to Covid. However, despite all my legal rights for a full refund and that the company is ABTA guaranteed, they have refused to refund me any cash, offering a voucher for half the amount I paid which has to be used with them by a certain time .. when there is no guarantee of being able to go. They insisted I claim on my travel insurance and I am still processing my claim through my credit company. I know that I am not the only customer left in this position and I really should have checked them out first. What was very daunting is the "deal" they were offering was far more expensive than had I arranged my own flight and hotel. Really don't touch them .. regardless of what super deal Travel Zoo suggest they have. I have been so disgusted that I'm not considering any deals with Travel Zoo either especially as they are still accepting their advertisements regardless of customer dissatisfaction.

Cathia's Response to CathiA's Review

It wasn't Travel Zoo that was responsible - it was Jetline Travel. I meant to explain that I found the deal on Travel Zoo but the company that have been so poor and terrible is Jetline Travel.

“Waiting for refund since March”

★☆☆☆☆

written by HarmonyDempsey367 on 03/07/2020

Waiting for a partial refund from this company since March! Would not provide full refund even though I could have got full amount back if id gone direct to vendors. Well over the quoted 7-9 weeks and no further contact from Jetline Holidays. Eventually when you get through to someone, passed around and knowone takes ownership. Staff not capable of processing even the basic information never mind providing you with actual help. I do not expect to receive any monies direct from Jetline Holidays and have been forced to recoup the monies via another method. Shambles of a company made worse by them cutting corners and outsourcing customer services abroad.

Our cruise was curtailed in february after a week because of the virus, and in compensation celebrity cruises refunded us the full amount of the cruise they repaid that back to Jetline in the middle of february and as of todays date 26/06/20 we have still not received it We were told on the 16th march that the cheque was in the post when we confirmed we had not received it we were told to wait a little longer as it may have gone into the 2nd class post after another week we were told another story, yes we would get the refund but they didn't know when

written by markweiler on 23/04/2020

Last I spoke to them, they told me I'd be refunded if the airline or hotel cancelled. Well they did. A few days later, Jetline packs up and turns off their phones. Now they are saying that the airline refuses to refund us. However, I called Turkish Airlines on multiple occasions, and the answer hasn't waivered. "We refunded your money to Jetline Holidays in March. You need to get your money from them." If you read their reviews and comments on their social media posts, it's clear, they have a long history of defrauding their customers. Never again. Bring on the class-action lawsuit.

“Refusing Full Refund”

★☆☆☆☆

written by RuthieJB on 21/04/2020

I wish I could give zero stars but that isn't an option. We were due to go on holiday this coming Saturday to celebrate our wedding anniversary but with the current COVID-19 situation our holiday has been cancelled. Jetline Holidays are refusing to give us a full cash refund, refund credit note or give us alternative date to travel in the future. They have 'very kindly' offered to give us some money back but they want to charge us over £300 as admin fees to cover the cost of sending us a partial refund!! Have you ever heard of such rubbish?

“Never use jetline cruises ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Dianebubbles on 09/04/2020

We had our cruise cancelled, due to the current virus. We expected 100% refund. This was not the case. On booking we was told it was a package deal. When jetline cancelled they informed up it was not as stated a package, and we would not received a full refund. They stated we can hold the trip until next year but would have a loss of £800.00 the same if we wanted our money back, if we wanted a refund it would take months? We requested a breakdown of our holiday, but was told by an agent who called us, that admin was not available. The lady who was in contact spoke limited english, which not by her own admission was based in india. I have emailed jetline as requested over a week ago. To date no one has bothered calling me back. The worse thing is, they are still taking bookings, and you can speak to a advisor if you are paying up your balance. But the people who have already paid there is no one available. I would never recommend jetline cruises to anyone.

“Jetline is trying to keep my money!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by laupy12 on 31/03/2020

I booked a holiday to Morocco - £1950. I has been cancelled due to virus. Jetline offered a £1500 credit note. In terms of the Package Travel Regulations I am entitled to a full cash refund. Jetline placed enormous pressure to accept the credit note giving me a few hours to accept. I asked who was paid the £450 difference. I did not get an answer. They have ignored my demands for a full cash refund. They have not communicated back to me in this regard. The Jetline Travel advert in the Daily Mail gives the impression that the holiday offered was done in conjunction with, and supported by, the newspaper. I wonder? I do not believe that Jetline Travel is operating in an ethical or honest manner.

Ariesgirl58's Response to laupy12's Review

Written on: 06/04/2020

I agree...I too am having trouble communicating with Jetline about a holiday 8 should have taken to Prague on 16/3. I was asked to ‘bear with them’ in the early days of the Coronavirus impact but they would be in touch within 2/3 weeks. I have waited for contacts but when I nothing in 3 weeks I tried to call them today and the phone numbers I have they either ring out or the call is disconnected or there is message saying they cannot no answer calls but will stay in regular email contact with clients. I am not sure what to do next...I’ve sent an email asking for contact to the sales adviser I was initially dealing with...but I don’t hold out much hope given other reviews I’ve seen online. Seems they area rogue company! I feel my next step will be an insurance claim which is unfair given Jetline will have had the flights refunded as minimum and should pass that back to the customer by law I believe.

“Avoid these, they just want your money”

written by welshdragon2012 on 20/03/2020

What a ridiculous situation! We had a short break (3 Nights) booked via Jetline to go to Athens today, Thursday 19 March. In view of current warnings Greece has closed all visitor sights together with Restaurants, Bars etc. However, Easyjet flight still left Bristol at 06:50 am today. We did not catch flight as our view was that it’s a waste of time catching a plane to Athens where not only the above restrictions apply but also any foreigners arriving will have to self-isolate for 14 days, so you would be stuck paying extra hotel costs and flight cost to return. We contacted Jetline several days before hand and explained situation and asked what were our options. They said that agents and airlines only act on order from FCO which we understand and accept. So we asked if it’s possible to re-book at later date and use what we’ve paid as a credit, £329. They offered another weekend in April 2020 for a further £500 on top of what we had paid. We haven’t booked for two reasons; the additional cost and its most likely a ban will still be in force come April. I would have thought common sense and good customer service would prevail, that’s the way you get future referral business. Not in this case. We won’t be booking through Jetline again nor referring.

“Avoid, do not use, disgraceful”

★☆☆☆☆

written by jxFitch213 on 11/03/2020

DO NOT USE!!! POOR!! Disgraceful Booked a surprise trip using Jetline Holidays, for my parents to Venice for 3 nights. I didn’t know the trip would be via this company as I wouldn’t have used them looking at reviews. I brought a voucher from GoGroopie, then had to ring this company to book the dates, I had a lot of pressure from Jetline to upgrade my deal for my parents but thought it was worth the extra cost and went for it. Then I got a phone call advising their flight home was cancelled and they needed to reschedule the flight for the next day meaning they would have to stay an extra night, but advised me that I would have to pay the extra costs which I was not prepared to do, plus my parents were due back at work. I argued then for my money back, yet they refused and said they could only give me a certain amount back meaning I would be £130 out of pocket, again I didn’t accept this and told them they were not providing what I had paid for, I was forced and pressurised again into changing the dates so my parents went a day later and came back a day later, than planned which cause havoc with their work, this was the only way to prevent me being out of pocket. Today I get a phone call advising that the whole trip has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus and they won’t be going on holiday on Sunday. So I asked for a full refund, which legally I am entitled to. They have refused to give me a full refund, saying that the suppliers won’t reimburse them, so that means I don’t get my money. This is not right at all, I have paid for a package holiday and not getting it. After getting very upset with them and having 4 calls with them today, they said they would give me a credit note which I can use within a year but even the credit note is £80 less than I have paid. They also advised me that Go Groopie would reimburse me directly for the voucher I paid for via them, then they suddenly said that Go Groopie had already reimbursed back to them, yet they are withholding this money and not giving it me, they want me to have a credit note. It’s absolutely disgusting. I have advised them I am going to trading standards, ABTA & I also will be getting legal advise and then they can reimburse my legal fees too. All I wanted was a full refund direct to my bank, which I am legally entitled to, as they cannot supply the holiday which I have paid for and they have cancelled it. The people I have spoken to are rude, unhelpful and their customer services are so poor. The names they use are also not their real names. I asked for the complaints procedure and apparently they do not have a complaints procedure. I am sure this is against the law. Do not use them, go to a reputable company, even if it costs you slightly more. My parents are disabled and this was supposed to be a nice surprise for them and it has turned into a nightmare that has caused them and I so much stress. At present I am out of pocket fully and it’s not right!!!!!

“NEVER, EVER, EVER”

★☆☆☆☆

written by 141Flood on 04/03/2020

THE WORST! Zero customer service. They mentioned airlines not offering change dates for free when it’s obvious online and by direct phone call the airline is happy to do so. I can’t do it directly simply because I booked through this HORRIBLE so-called “Jetline Holidays”. They want to send me on a cruise to Israel where there are 10,000 people in quarantine for COVID-19. Cruise to nowhere and then possible quarantine on the ship for 14 days. I suggested a credit towards same trip another date. No consideration whatsoever was given. Not allowed to cancel day excursions or hotels 24 days in advance . BAD GROUP! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! $10,000 GONE

“Trying to cancel”

written by Paddock24 on 05/02/2020

They seem very reluctant to cancel my city break. Asked me the nature of my illness and suggested I go another time. I was put on hold 3 times but still the holiday has not been cancelled. I was asked to email them and I did this 24 hours ago. No confirmation email has arrived. A bit if a shambles really.

We have just returned from our break to Venice/Rome and everything went as planned.Jetline made sure our boarding passes for Ryan Air were e.mailed to the Hotel and they were duly printed out waiting for us on our departure. The Hotel in Venice Hotel Centrale was very basic room,as small as a postage stamp but served it's purpose.Tickets were bought from the Tabac right next door and the bus stop was literally over the road.Very easy.Breakfast was the same for 3 days, continental and not very inspiring. The Hotel in Rome was Hotel Orly and was a much nicer Hotel all together.Breakfast had scrambled egg & bacon such a shame it was always cold ! A good continental choice was also available. This Hotel is out of Rome and needed the Metro (tube)to get there. The station is a good 10/15 minutes walk from the Hotel down hill..Obviously coming back the Hotel is up a long hill and I really would not recommend it for walking to anyone who has a disability of any kind, nor a push chair actually..Having said this,we coped with it fine.I'm not going to go into Venice and Rome itself as this is a review on the Holiday Company (although both were fabulous). We had NO problem with Jetline from start to finish, absolutely everything was perfect. All our documents were e.mailed to us correctly and communication was excellent. They kept in touch with us throughout the booking.I would definately recommend to friends and we will be using them again,in fact we are just looking at a trip to Iceland with them..

“the worst company on the planet”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Jaylen24 on 04/05/2019

I take 4 or 5 holidays every year and have never had a problem with any until I tried to book today with Jetlineholidays - I had seen an advertisement in the Mirror newspaper for 7 days to Iceland, Niagara Falls & New York so went to their website to have a look & book - however whilst there were numerous other holidays to look at this one did not exist so I made a phone call to get advice on how I could find it but the man the other end was told me it had been taken off their main site but was still available and I therefore asked for a brochure so that I could look at the details but again this was not available. I want to look at what I am booking to see all my options and then decide actual dates etc. He was totally unhelpful so I said to forget it and put the phone down. However he then had the audacity to call me back and was talking a loads of cobblers so I told him to F off and put the phone down - I had been concerned when I first put their website address in - TERRIBLE SERVICE AVOID AT ALL COST !!!

I know what you mean, we booked though jetline cruises, what a nightmare!!!, they put two elderly people on the 2nd floor with 4 flights of stairs to climb and no lift, I complained bitterly when we got home but was told It was our fault because we didn't inform the sales person we needed lifts..... to quick to take your money.
I agree with you AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

“"Missed the Boat"...!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by btMiddleton4 on 04/10/2017

I feel that I had to write to share "the experience" my wife and I had on this JetLine Cruise holiday. First of all we arrived at Naples airport on the Saturday but had to wait one and half hours for our transfer to our hotel. The stay at the Carlton Hotel was fine,a good location in the heart of Sorrento. On the following Sunday, the private hire driver arrived on time to take us to Naples Train station. We boarded the train for our journey to Rome Civitavecchia. We arrived at Rome Termini and then departed an hour later, but we became aware that we were heading in the wrong direction and that the train, without any notification, had been re-routed to go to Pisa and not Civitavecchia as advised. We and another 2 couples had difficulty in asking the train attendant the reason for this change and eventually managed to speak to the guard who could speak some English. He arranged for the train to be at the next station on the line (Orte) for the 6 of us to disembark and return to Rome Termini, which we arrived back at, 2 hours later. Apparently no trains were running to Civitavecchia due to flooding on the line. The problem we now had, as at was now 2.30pm, was to get to the Cruise terminal for boarding the Jewel of the Seas cruise by 4.00pm, but with no trains running at this time, and all the contact numbers that we had been supplied with not responding (possibly because it was a Sunday) we were stuck for a solution. The taxi line was about a mile long outside the station and also no buses were running to the cruise terminal. However as we stood around the departure board, a notice came up suddenly to advise that a train for Civitavecchia would be leaving in 5 minutes from platform 25, which was, as we found out, approximately 500 yards from the main concourse. My wife and got held up in the ticket checking line (for all train departures) and ultimately missed the train by seconds. The other 2 couples made it onto the train. My wife and I then proceeded to Customer Service and explained our predicament. They contacted the ship to advise that we had been delayed and arranged for us to take the sleeper train to the next cruise port of call - Messina. This was due to leave at 9.30pm that night but didn't actually leave until 2.30 in the morning due to no train driver being available. We eventually arrived in Messina and boarded the Cruise at 4.30pm on the Monday, a full 36 hours since leaving the Carlton Hotel on the Sunday! Needless to say this was not the best of starts to our holiday and very stressful, especially for my wife, who at times was thinking of just returning on a flight home. So due to this horrendous experience, I don't think we will be contemplating booking this type of holiday again.

After booking a holiday for myself and a friend through one of your companies we went into panic mode when we read the reviews. I even went so far as to call the company I had booked through (Hot Deals) re the reviews and was assured that our booking/holiday were all ok. We set off to the airport with a certain amount of fear and trepidation..!!!! As we swiped our boarding pass we had our fingers crossed.....yes, we had a flight. We flew Ryanair from Liverpool to Rhodes. The next finger crossing was the transfer to the hotel, the company we were using Does exist, they were right by the main exit...bonus. When we reached our destination, the Niriides Hotel in Kolymbia it was another bonus, lovely hotel.! Bit of a panic booking in as my name had been spelled wrong but the lovely receptionist soon sorted it out. We had a fabulous room with a terrace....bliss.! We had a great holiday and everything went to plan on the way home. I will certainly use this company again.

After our experiences with Jetline I cannot recommend them. I can only suggest that if you do decide to proceed take great care to check their invoice (if you get one). Take especial care if you make any changes to your original booking. They seem to us to have a deliberate policy of misleading and not producing up to date paperwork.

100% don't bother took my booking and credit card details phoned back 15 minutes later to say sorry we cant secure the accommodation so we can supply the flights for £50 more than you could have booked them yourself and if you want alternative accommodation it will be an extra £140.............how come you took my credit card details without confirming it was all in place???? Then when I say cancel flights then I will go elsewhere you say there will be a £90 cancellation fee???...........I think you can go take a running jump what a joke!!! My advice deal direct with airlines and hotels or use a reputable supplier such as Travel Republic!!!
