The Damage Done is a thrilling story. but unlike many others I do believe that Fellows' got what he deserved. actually in fact I belive that he deserved the full life sentence in that hell hole like he was meant to be. sure his book is full of honesty- mostly anyway,but not once in the book does he say he is sorry for smugling drugs. he says he is sorry for ending up in prison. I'm sorry, but when you break the law you get punished for it! After studying this book at school I have read the book fully probably about three times. I do not like Fellows. only god knows how many people's lives are now destroyed and last because of Fellows stupid career choice.I belive that if you have anything to do with drugs at all- whether you're a addict or a courier- you are a murderer as well.

yes this book was great to read, it was writen well but I do not like Fellows because throughout the hole book he was nothing but sorry for himself. if he hadn't gotten caught at all he would still be trafficking drugs today.

Twelve Years of Hell in a Bangkok Prison - I have travelled to thailand many times and have heard about this book and the story or Warren fellows! I Could not put this bok down at all!! Nobody deserves those 12 years of hell... If you think your lifes hard then read this book and you will soon feel different about your situation.

The Damage Done: Twelve Years of Hell in a Bangkok Prison is a living nightmare, and still, you cannot stop, you really hope he will get out...just wonder how he will live after that.
This prison is still there, still torture people, legally.

after i read damage done i couldnt get it out my head for days 12 years of living hell i think it shud be made into a film i watched midnight express after this but warren went thru much worse then he did

I read Warren Fellows, The Damage Done: Twelve Years of Hell in a Bangkok Prison when i was doing time ,by this book is truly fantastic the Warren survived in the most horrific place in the world , i just wished he could have attempted to contact Avril , that was sad ,THAT WAS THE PURE DAMAGE BUT DONE, i just think no matter how bad the prisoner is no one in the world deserve such treatment , that prison should be investigated by amnesty international , there committing more murders in there.

The book should be made into a movie and Warren should now take a seat and lead the international committee on drug related issues and clean up the horrific treatment of prisoners , nobody deserved that.

Its a shame Paul passed away.

personally i could not put Warren Fellows, The Damage Done: Twelve Years of Hell in a Bangkok Prison, down , it was a real eye opener and alhtough some people may read it and say that warren deserved that - think again - no one deserves to be treated so in humanely , he was given a life setence for his crime something that will probably never leave him for the rest of his years . i often think of him and what he experienced and all i can say is let it be a massive lesson to us all .

Unbelievable! I can't comprehend what this man and the others in there with him had to deal with on a daily basis. I could not put the book down. The Damage Done was an honest, emotional rollercoaster and I hope anyone that has any inkling to smuggle even the smallest amount of drugs reads this book. Life to too short to have to endure even a moment like this..

Great read. Finished it in only 4 pick ups. Would have completed it first time round if I had time Very scary stuff with honesty. What a shocking start to a book, but to truly get inside that prison it has to be done.

Suspense, thrilling, tense, chilling back - breaking, unbearable, insanely gross and ridiculously unbelievable. Some unnecessary reading parts. Excellent, detailed book of a real life story.

Engaging story. Fellows endured some horrific events all of which he deserved. He is a criminal. Of course i would not ever wanted to go through the events he had but then again i do not intend being a criminal. He is repentant of his crime but forever makes excuses regarding his decisions. Whether the punishment was too harsh or not, it achieved it goal of deterring him from future crimes.

This book was really something special, i recommend this to anyone who would like to broaden there reading material, it really was gripping and an outstanding account of the horrific time spent in such an awful place. My heart really goes out to this man, he endured so much and he has my full respect.
