“Don’t even bother ”

Upon arrival at TFS I was greeted by a driver with my name on a board which is great, however the good things didn’t last very long. I walked to the minibus provided and continued to sit inside with the doors closed and no air for around 10 minutes whist then driver was using his mobile phone, presumably to search for my destination. Although my journey should have only taken around 10 minutes, it was all together around 40 minutes as the driver had no idea where my destination was, and I had to provide numerous directions. Then, whilst waiting for my return transfer to arrive, I kept looking at my watch, only to wait 20 minutes past my collection time for NO DRIVER OR VEHICLE TO TURN UP. The reception at my accommodation kindly telephoned zip transfers to find out what was happening, to be told that she would get a call back, which she did not receive. I then had to get another taxi to the airport so I would not miss my flight. The service was dreadful and the failure to pick me up for my return was even worse. AVOID THIS COMPANY, THEY THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, DON’T PICK YOU UP, NO COMMUNICATION AND NO REFUND.

“Non show for transfer to Faro Airport ”

I booked a private transfer from my accommodation in the Algarve, to Faro Airport. Ten minutes after we should have been picked I contacted the 24 hour helpline. The person who answered was very polite and advised they would contact the local transport manager to see what was happening. 5 minutes later he rang me back and informed me that the local manager had booked us in for pick up the following day, in error and that he had no availability to be able to pick us up straightaway. It was now 15 minutes after the time we should of picked us up and getting closer to our flight time. We were advised by their customer service that we would have to find our own way to the Airport and they would refund our money. This is unacceptable as if we could get alternative transport we would not get to the airport 2 hours before the flight as we were required to do. Luckily we found a local taxi who took us, but obviously cost 25% more. This whole experience left us stressed and out of pocket. I would never trust this company again.

After a quote from easyJet of "from" £71 for a less than 10km return trip I found Zip transfers for €28 return. The online payment failed as it was busy and I didn't give it enough time to complete but a quick phone call to a UK number and it was sorted. The night before we were flying out we had to change accommodation and an email was all it took to amend transfers. As we entered the arrivals hall our driver was waiting holding a card with our name on. He took us to an air conditioned Mercedes and we were at our apartment within 20 minutes. On departure day our driver arrived with time to spare - again in air conditioned Mercedes and dropped us off right outside departures. Can honestly say was best transfers we've had taking into account value for money, comfort, punctuality, politeness and ease of booking.

Very reliable, friendly yet professional service.. this is our second time to use them from Girona Airport to our holiday destination. The driver was waiting for us when our flight arrived. He was chatting to the kids... the minibus was comfortable and clean with plenty of room.. he got us to where we need to be safely.... the trip back to the airport was just as good... perfectly timed for our return flight... I cannot fault them at all. Would highly recommend them!!

We booked Zip to take us from Arricife to Plays Blanca - and paid an extra 10 euro to stop en route to pick up key. We had to wait around 10 minutes at airport for driver to arrive. Driver brought us direct to apartment and suggested we walk the short distance to collect key. We insisted she drive us as we had paid for this service. Having collected key she suggested we could then walk to apartment - but key owner insisted she drive us! Apart from that driver was a very pleasant lady.

“Okay service could be a lot better ”

The service was okay, the staff member wasn’t waiting at arrivals with the other car services with our name. So we had to walk around and find him as he was waiting somewhere else. He had to ask us for directions to the hotel once he got closer (which we have never been to before) as he thought we were staying in another hotel on the same road. Leaving the resort the transfer was late, I had to call the office and the driver said he couldn’t find the hotel because we only gave the street address and not the hotel name. If that was the case he should have called us to see what hotel we are staying in. And it was the same driver who dropped us there 4 days before. Luckily we was not late for our flight but I wouldn’t use the service again as it just added extra stress to me holiday.

“Absolute Disgrace”

On arrival there was nobody to meet us. I had pre-booked a 6 seater so I could travel with my friends to our destination. When I first rang I was told the driver was there and to head to the Relay shop. Which I did and waited. I then rang again and was told there would be somebody there shortly. After approximately a 40 minute wait, two separate taxi's arrived. Needless to say we were so annoyed not to be able to travel together and to have wasted some of our holiday time. On our departure your driver arrived to collect 6 people even though the booking was to collect 8 people. Once again our group had to travel separately to the airport and wait for the driver to organise a taxi for 2 of our party. I am still waiting to hear from the traffic manager.

First time using ZIP. Perfect service and smart drivers who were courteous and very helpful both ways. Clean vehicles both ways also. Lack of air conditioning on the journey to our holiday destination, but we asked the driver if he can open the window which helped a lot. Have to add that ZIP were very efficient when we had to adjust our booking whilst on holiday. Beats long bus journeys. I should mention that value for money was definitely a plus point. We were cheaper using ZIP than we would have been for the bus transfer you usually get for your holiday. 100% use again.

We used Zip Transfers for a return trip from Girona airport to Girona city and they were excellent both times. The driver was waiting for us with a name board as we came out of the arrivals hall and on the return the driver had to battle with road closures because of a fun run but still managed to be waiting for us at our requested time. 5 stars for Zip in Girona!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

At Singapore Airport the driver was waiting in the arrivals hall, after customs etc,with a sign with the booking persons name on.Easy and reliable. A 24/7 assistance number was supplied with booking..

Avoid at all costs. I found zip transfers expensive and unreliable. They failed to arrive and then blamed a local taxi firm. Other operators are far cheaper and actually bother to turn up!!

As anyone usd zip from Palma airport to calas de Mallorca ? I've got a family of 11 to book for 3 children and have read mixed reviews I usually use suntransfers but these have come £45 cheaper which is great but could also mean not as good service Regards

We attempted to use them last year. We booked our transfer over a week before we were due to travel and less than 12 hours before we were due to department from the UK we received a phone call telling us that our booking had been cancelled due to a lack of driver!! We were given no alternative transfer options, no compensation and no real apology even though I emailed a complaint as soon as we returned from our holiday. I wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole, but good luck if you do decide to use them.

I would advise you to give this company a wide berth. We booked our holiday transfer a week before we were due to depart. Less than 12 hours before leaving for the airport we got a call from Spain telling us that our transfer had been cancelled - no explanation nothing! I complained via email to Zip Transfers and to this day, more than 6 months later we have still had no acknowledgement, apology, nothing. Use someone else, you'd be glad you did. Good Luck.

The website will allow you to believe you can select the vehicle size,space & configuration in advance. As was my experience,when I arrived nothing could be further from reality. Pandemonium ensued as they made a phonecall then we waited until whichever random vehicle with enough seats arrived. Not at all like I had ordered,ill equipped. Will not be using them ever again.

When I used Zip last year, they emailed me to let me know exactly where the driver would be waiting...he will be in the arrivals area with your name on a card....hope this helps.

When you get to the airport the taxi driver will be in the arrivals hall with a name board , so very simple :)

After collecting your bags from the carousel if you have bags checked in,proceed to arrivals hall where the driver will be waiting for you with the persons name on a board usually the surname of the person who booked the service will be displayed hope this helped

Unfortunately in my experience you will not receive a refund. I know this is hard to comprehend as the people did appear friendly and helpful but their customer approach with respect to giving money back is diabolical. To not offer a refund is tantamount to theft in my eyes. I hope you have more luck than I did.

I cannot say that this is a situation I have experienced with this company. In the past any issues which have arisen when I have used them (4 times now) they have dealt with quickly and professionally but I've never been in the position of asking for my money back from them. I assume you contacted them on the day when your taxi failed to appear at the stated time?
