after one unsuccessful attempt to download a workshop manual & complaining I recieved prompt help to reopen download file (very good) but --- download is quite complicated for a person with average computer skills. too many steps involving new downloads, file changes etc etc - finally got there but would not want to repeat experience have not checked manual in depth yet but seems ok

Having bought the excellent Peugeot Emanual I thought the Landcruiser (Toyota) manual would be similar but For instance how do you remove the starter motor, besides undoing the two bolts as mentioned in your Emanual?,See the US Toyota owners website to be informed of all the difficulties in removing same having undone the bolts!!! Poor show By the way it took me a full day to remove the starter to install new contacts and I thought your manual would help me avoid unnecessary work! Hope things greatly improve.

i don't think this should be a bad reflection on us. This is how the manual is provided to us by the supplier.

You should've at least had the decency to contact us, prior to writing this silly review!

“too complicated”

Installation and access to use is WAY too complicated. The format is not user friendly and subject matter is incomplete. EXAMPLE: TRY TO FIND "ENGINE REMOVAL" and at least 10 areas have to be accessed to complete the action. Then you cannot download any of the information so are stuck running back to the computer. You cannot print anything as the OS is extremely old (XP professional) and no longer supported. If you are using a later OS you cannot interface the print process without considerable conflict issues. If it were not for your tech people going WAY out of the way to assist I would not even have been able to access the site with windows 7. Ancient access system, incomplete or hard to use service info and inability to download for use sections.

10 Areas for an engine removal - Its not exactly an easy job is it?

XP Professional in a virtual environment works perfectly well, including printing.

“Downloading”

I purchased a download for the Volkswagen UP and even with my sons help (who works with computers)could not download it. The instructions did not match what came on the screen. I then paid extra to purchase a DVD which still came up similar to the download and was not able to get further. You then agreed to take control of my computer and down load it for me for which I thank you. I paid extra for a DVD which was of no use to me. I've now looked through the manual for the simple things I wanted, i.e. how to change a blown bulb etc. which I have found, but other than that it doesn't give much help to the home mechanic. I feel it is more suitable for a garage.

download and upload unconventional needs to be simplified for us basic users i only wanted a manual so as to fix the heater. Not a fresh lesson in computer operation.

“Audi TT Mk 2 Workshop Manual”

I purchased the CD version but that’s not the end of it, you have to extract the content of the CD to a file, download Winrar Zip File. Extract the content of the CD file using the Winrar Zip File, which gives you another file. Download VMware to run it in. To find all this out is not easy took me about 2 hours. They could make the down loading sequences a lot easer, and after all that it isn’t the easiest manual to navigate, and it’s a big file 9.37GB! Would I recommend this NO, The only trouble is there are not many Manuals out there for my car.

I had issues in downloading a manual and contacted emanualonline.com who helped to download with a secure remote access to my computer. They were very helpful and I did not have any issue with the customer service. Message them with your problem via the contact facility.

Process a case if you paid by PayPal, even if you get the link it will be so slow it will drive you nuts , however they allow downloads they either have virtually no bandwidth or restrict it to stop you from download and using up there home broadband speed perhaps There are others online might cost you £5 more on top of this sellers price but there downloads are instant or disks are sent quickly Hope this helps

I had problems with the download and they said they did not have time to help, but fortunately I purchased through PayPal and Emanualonline does not like negative feedback. So if your not happy if you have not paid through PayPal there's is a site for feedback which they monitor. Has anyone else had problems with the download?  They are not professional and the complaint become very personnel but continue, they stand to lose a lot more.

I also had difficulty downloading to start with but after checking step by step I was able to download an excellent DIY manual. I have used this service a couple of times now and I will still say they give good service. I think most people are a little unsure or have difficulties as you set up a link between yourself and their server before you can download. I guess they just want to protect their investment. Have another try to carefully follow step by step, it is worth the effort and you will get an excellent manual. I hope this helps, Cheers

Hi I had problems down loading the on line version of the manual however the replies I got very always helpful and friendly. In spite of this I never did get the system to work so bought a DVD version as well. This took a number of emails to them before this version was useable. Again they were friendly and in the end they remotely installed it from their end. No problems now. Note:I am not employed by emanuals and have no connection with emanuals.

I managed to lose the copy of my download after the 7-day download period. E-manual gave me a further few days to download a second time. Needless to say I've a backup copy! Otherwise, nothing much to say having used them just the one time.

Sorry to hear about that I ordered the CD version of my manual just to have a physical copy of the manual for the future and they were very helpful with helping me get the files onto my laptop.It took several emails between us but all I know is it worked and they never seemed unwilling to help.

I had problems with the download initially. This was resolved by their on-line chat and I have to say they were very professional in their dealings with me. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. When you do eventually download the manual it is a minefield and needs practise to use it. It is not particularly user-friendly but with some practice you can access all the information you will ever need and more. I use Apple Macs and the download uses a virtual version of Widows XP. It does not allow an upgrade to later versions of Windows. There does not appear to be a Mac version of Emanualonline. Hope this is helpful

Hi I don't know who you were dealing with but I have to say while I had trouble with the downloading and getting the manual up and running that was down to my lack of knowledge. when i contacted them they logged into my computer and sorted it out for me. contact them again and explain your experiance and I sure they will be happy to help. I am a mechanic and I bought the audi a6 manual for specs and it helped me a lot. Hope this helps. shay

I had a download problem like yours when I purchased my manual. The download is big and takes hours. When it came to installing the manual on my computer it did not work at all and I contacted the support team and we exchanged e-mails on the progress on my side. Finally they contacted me so that they could log-on to my computer which they did via Team viewer and the download was installed by the support team and it has been working ever since.

I did place a order and was not able to download the product at the time that I needed it. I am not very happy with my purchase at all. I have been trying to get a refund for weeks. How do I go about getting a refund. Oh yes, when I purchased the download it was going to cost $14.99 but the charge was $25.47. What is that about? Is It false advertising?

My experience with this company is that they rarely provide what you pay for and even if they do it's not worth what you paid for it. I don't think you have any chance of getting a refund from them so the only thing to do is keep spreading the message that they are not trustworthy wherever you can. Do not waste money sending letters to them, the addresses they have on their website do not exist! Sorry to be the one to give you the bad news.

I can't speak for their ethics as I truly don't know but the product they sell is excellent and I have used them a couple of times now and will do so again in the future. As I said above, check what you are doing - take things s l o w l y step by step and you will get there. Cheers

Hi, I have downloaded and installed the product without any difficulty. As the product worked right off the bat there was no need to contact them but the communication I had was good.
