“Great after sales”

My cheapo freeview box packed up and after reading some reviews I decided on a Humax. Peter Tyson had the cheapest price online that I could find and despite not hearing of them before I took a chance. The box arrived pretty much within 24 hours. They use a good courier company with which I could fully track parcel online and was sent a text with a delivery window of 1 hour, no hanging around all day waiting which is fabulous. Unfortunately after a couple months the box developed a fault and my first thought was 'oh this is going to be a nightmare to get sorted' but I phoned Peter Tysons and they gave me some advise on how to possibly fix it and if this didn't work to contact them again. That night I tried to fix it but to no avail so I also contacted Humax in case I was doing something wrong and Humax told me it was a faulty box. I contacted Peter Tyson the next day and explained what humax had said and Terry Cannon was extremely helpful and arranged to just swop the machines over rather than me wait for mine to be collected, looked at and another sent out which I was more than happy with. Collection was arranged for any day I wanted at any address suitable. Courier came with my new box and took away the faulty one. I was then emailed by Terry just to make sure everything was ok with the new one. I would have absolutely no hesitation on using this company again and completely and utterly would recommend them to anyone and everyone to use. Best prices, quick delivery, supreme after sales..what else could you ask for?

“Return Made Easy”

Unfortunately one of the speakers manufactured by Tannoy was faulty so I was dreading the normal problems one can experience when returning faulty goods especially as purchased via Amazon However having emailed Peter Dyson I was contacted by Terry Cannon who was extremely helpful & everything was sorted including the refund within 3 working days. I was kept fully informed throughout every stage from collection, returns receipt & finally refund. I would not hesitate to use this company again & will recommend them to my friends.

“Excellent After sales service and Free DPD delivery”

Free delivery service when i purchase. Its not free mickey mouse delivery which you get from Amazon. This is DPD ones which you could track upon the next day delivery. Excellent pricing. My primary aim for this feedback is regarding their After Sales Service. My onkyo amp broke after 6 months of use. I called up the technical team, and within 3 mins in the phone call, Terry Cannon from the team sorted me out in no time. Free DPD delivery and logged all the issues which i had. 36-48 hours later the DPD van came and collected from my front door, no hassel! Terry had to sort out the leg work for me by calling up the original vendor and arrange for repair etc. it did take 4 weeks before my newly repaired amp returned. Best thing is; i dont have to spent a penny and also hassle free. I dont think u get service liek this in any online vendor in the UK.

Where do you start from the first time I got in touch with Peter Tyson to place an order I was amazed at the service I received espcially from Terry Cannon who works in the dispatch / order area. Very helpful good information on products and good contact with me through Email. My first unit had a problem Denon DM38 I then tried a Yamaha CRX which had a noisy disc tray everytime I needed assistance Terry came to the rescue. I eventually doubled my original budget and bought the brilliant Marantz CR-603 and the whole time Terry made sure I was happy with my purchase. Will be back very soon to purchase some Monitor Audio Speakers and will defiently be buying from Peter Tyson again.

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband,he purchased a sony speaker system then a marantz av amplifier unfotunately he suffered a stroke ,after emailing the online group i could not believe the service i was given, within the week they had arranged a return authorization number the products returned and a refund arranged.When my husband is fit again (please god) there is nowhere else he would even think about going to buy hi fi/home theatre equipment.THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR AN EXCELENT SREVICE.

From my order up to delivery and aftersales the service from Peter Tyson was first class. The Pioneer I ordered was the cheapest I had found on the web, the service however was first class. e mails were sent regarding delivery, I was given a two hour delivery slot , courier was within the two hour slot but door bell didn't work and he never knocked although there were three cars on the drive and cars on my neighbours, delivery was then arranged for following day. Not Peter Tysons fault and they were very apologetic regarding the matter, I was offered discount on the next item I bought due to the delivery problem. Many thanks to Terry Cannon whom I dealt with on the phone and by e mail. I would highly recommend Peter Tyson for anyone who wishes to buy A V or Hi Fi. 5 ***** Alan Gaskell Upholland

Knew exactly what I wanted so , ordered my item as they were significantly cheaper than many competitors! Bit of a punt because I'd not used them before! They use a quality courier which texts you the hour of delivery which is very helpful! Had a slight issue on delivery which they were very quick to get involved and assist with! The courier too was excellent in terms of customer service and offered a Saturday delivery due to this minor issue! Very decent! Opened the box and found a scratch on the item! Probably happened at the factory! Emailed on a Sat, got response within the hour and issue resolved by the Monday! Peter Tyson strikes me as a smaller company who goes the extra mile on service! Instead of the usual big companies, try them! My experience was very positive despite a few issues! Bravo Mr Tyson!!

Ordered an open box Onkyo 608 from their ebay outlet store at a very good price. Delivery was free and very quick (2 days). Radio turned out to be faulty, they immediately picked it up via courier -fixed and returned within 10 days with constant updates throughout that time. First time I have used Peter Tyson, but will definitely use them again. Highly recommended, an absolute pleasure to deal with.

I bought a Denon dock which became faulty well over a year later. Customer Services at Peter Tyson immediately suggested they contact Denon and see if they could get something done under a fairness claim. They filled in the paperwork and managed to get me a new (and upgraded) dock at no cost. The service was friendly and helpful throughout. I will definitely use them again for my next purchase.

very early hours on tuesday I ordered these cans, 10am, e-mail to confirm order, later that day another mail saying delivery next day(wed), wed morning a text and another mail to confirm exact time of delivery, this came as stated, first class service from this dealer, communication from initial order was excellent, delivery also free, price same as many others, but deal was sealed with 2 year warranty, website was clear and easy to use, overall I'm very impressed with this dealer and can unhessitantly recommend peter tyson online for your audio needs.

Not only was this the best price for the item that I could find, delivery was free. On top of that the retailer phoned me to arrange delivery on a specific day to suit me. When I later had to change this delivery date it was no problem at all.
I also ordered speakers to go with the item which turned out to be out of stock, the retailer phoned me to see if I wanted to replace them with the next model up with a substantial discount or if I just wanted to purchase the Onkyo DR645 and source my original choice of speakers elsewhere.
I have not set up the new system yet (It's for my Mum)so don't know if it is faulty or anything, but this is intended to be a review of the retailer rather than the item purchased.
