“It's a joke!”

I booked a hotel and received and email saying I booked a hotel for 2016 (it's now 2018).I am REALLY sure I had the right dates, however, it shouldn't be possible to book back in time. When calling hotel info they say I booked that date and that the booking is old. The amount of money for the 2016-booking was taken from my account same day I booked. So I payed for a hotel in 2016 that I somehow booked 2018!? Make sense.....

“hate mandatory fields”

At log in, it was necessary to provide gender title, either Mr or Ms. I don't have a title. Never been honoured by the Queen or earned 1 by dint of study. Have they not read the guide HM Government guide to dealing with transgender customers? It was issued in November 2015. No gender identifying title or salutation to be used. Furthermore, I hate that ghastly Americanisation Ms, why not Miss or Mrs?

“Horrible after sales”

I made a booking through this internetsite. After 14days, during my holiday they emailed me that the hotel was overbooked, they forgot to delete the email of the hotel at the bottom, which stated that they were closed and they communicated this very clearly to hotel.info. Directly I let them know I wanted to cancel this booking and would book another hotel myself. Some days later I receive an answere in which they stated that I have to 100% pay the cancellation fee, while I did not used the offer of another hotel, which they allready booked. The after sales was horrible and for sure not consumer friendly. A lot of time, energy and frustration and several calls from abroad later, we finally received apologies for the misbehaviour of the after sales employees and a voucher of 100,= euro. When I wanted to use the voucher, I ran into some problems and again it was very difficult to receive some help, just after 4 different persons, there was finally one decent man to help me out.

“No chance to enter voucher code”

I was offered a 20,- € voucher by E-Mail on my next reservation but there was no chance to enter the voucher-code during the booking process.

“The price changes during booking”

Very easy and convenient booking, intuitive and no problems, but the price changed and increased while I logged in to the spesific hotel I choose. I also found that the Breakfast wasn't included late in the booking process. Three and a half star. Now I look forward to travel, the hotel looks OK

In a nutshell: Perfect for fast and easy booking of hotels! I frequently use "hotel.de" for Online Booking of Hotels around the world for business trips. The website is fast, very easy to use, and the bookings are always reliable. The hotels can be selected and sorted by several parameters, viewed in a list or on a map. The traveller reviews are very helpful in selecting a hotel. The data are processed very fast (maximum waiting time for a booking is 10 seconds), immediate confirmations available for pdf-printout, plus immediate emails with confirmations. Also, as a user I am not harrassed with unwanted ads. The few ads are travel-related (e.g. rental cars) and do not hinder the user at all.

Зарегистрировать первое бронирование было очень легко, на знакомом языке. Кроме того, цена была адекватной, обычной. Хотя в этот раз я не смог найти эту цену на букинге. Ранее я всегда ее имел. В результате я начал искать нужный отель и нужную цену на других сервисах. Так я вышел на Hotel.info. Сервис предлагает прислать смс о бронировании. Не знаю, будет ли хорошо работать далее. Но пока недостатков я не заметил. Выводы делать рано, конечно. Может быть сегодня все получится, а далее возникнут проблемы, как это было с букингом в этот раз. В любом случае я доволен, что узнал что-то новое в сервисах бронирования номеров отелей. Возможно, что со временем смогу еще что-то здесь почерпнуть для общего развития или для решения конкретных вопросов, которые могут понадобиться. Ведь нельзя предусмотреть все, что нужно будет завтра, так как все меняется, появляются новые требования и возможности делать работу или отдыхать в новом качестве жизни. Поэтому благодарю за первый удачный контакт и надеюсь на плодотворное сотрудничество в будущем с системой бронирования Hotel.info.

Be careful with booking with HotelInfo, or Hotel.de.
HotelInfo uses an imaginary 3rd party booking company and make booking non-refundable. When you book a hotel, the confirmation receipt that shows refund policy from the hotel will appear, however the actual refund will not happen. As in my case, the receiving hotel refers to the booking stage, where HotelInfo/Hotel.de made arrangement with a 3rd party and made booking non-refundable. It appears like a collusion of 3 parties not to refund payments, and it starts with HotelInfo/Hotel.de

I wanted to book hotel Jägerstube in Görgeshausen Germany. Rooms are offered for 50 euro and 70 euro. But booking 2 rooms of 50 euro is impossible. The answer of the system is "not enough rooms booked". So I had no choice but booking the 2, 70 euro rooms. How is that possible?
