“Brilliant beekeeping”

My friend treated me to a half-day’s beekeeping course near Royston, Cambs and an absolute treat it was. Jonathon ran the course with such enthusiasm and knowledge and our ‘classroom’ atmosphere was comfortable, relaxed, and encouraging - no question too ‘silly’ to ask. We were in the hands of a real expert who imparted his knowledge generously and at the appropriate level. We were treated to refreshments, loaned keepers’ suits for a hands-on (if desired) practical demonstration at the hives and the whole experience was well-paced and super-informative. We were made to feel very welcome in the owners’ home and garden and they were both generous with their time and gave over and above what we had expected. Huge thanks to them both. This was a very happy day well spent.

Due to health issues I have had to contact the Into the blue team on several occasions over the years, by email and by phone and the staff are amazing, so knowledgeable, efficient and polite...it really is unusual these days to get humans and not Bots and then brilliant humans 2nd to none! “Bad”

DONT BOOK THIS SERVICE!! My flight did not go ahead due to lack of contact by the booking office. No customer service or office to contact. They do everything they can not to give a refund. The flight instructor at Blackpool was unhelpful and not interested. My advice is to book direct with airport based flying school.

Hi. Just had my first experience with into the blue. I had a micro light flight from Barton Airport Manchester. It was amazing, so relaxed and friendly with wonderful views . My pilot was very informative, showed me all controls, and explained how it all worked. He was very knowledgeable about the area we flew over. Weather was perfect, Best experience I have ever had. Would recommend this to anyone. Thankyou again for making my day so special

Booked my brother a microlight flying experience from shot ton airfield It was a present for his 40th birthday , he's now 42 and after 17 cancellations He still hasn't had his flight, today they cancelled it at 11 o'clock but he saw the plane still going up at 2oclock , presumably for people Who hadn't booked it through into the blue Absolutely terrible service

Looking for skid pan driving experience within our county for an 18 year old ( yes has passed his test )..spoke to R who was most efficient and helpful.... Voucher arrived first class post the next morning... The 18 year old is now wondering whether he can change it to driving a tank instead - absolutely 'no way' says his mum Service excellent, ability to change for another activity excellent , have already recommended to interested friends who say would make ideal gifts Voucher valid one year and exchangeable for other treats ...excellent ...18 year old now deciding on dates and between A level results and partying in Ibiza

“Terrible, avoid avoid avoid”

I couldn't use my experience as the company intotheblue had partnered with went out of business. They completely washed their hands of it and said there's nothing they could do. I lost my money, all £500 worth. Be very careful. I'm planning on taking legal action.

So a family member kindly bought me an voucher for Gourmet Thrill IntotheBlue dining experience. Nothing near Torquay nor 50 miles radius. IntotheBlue said you can use voucher towards other things. OK searched around still next to nothing locally appealing (gliding - really). There are plenty of cookery schools that I have used locally but none on IntotheBlues list. Use the voucher to joining Dining Club they said ok let's look I said - I can get 2-4-1 at four cafes within ten miles whoopee... Explained all this to staff at IntotheBlue who's attitude was essentially oooh what a pity the purchaser should have looked more closely into it...not a helpful let's fix it attitude I would recommend avoid this organisation

Do not book the delux theatre and meal package for £150 as there is nothing delux about it. The seats are standard and restaurant choice is terrible, you can organise it all yourself for much cheaper. Would not recommend this package or this website to any one I liked.

“Gyrocopter flight from Rochester”

My sister and I got this as a gift for our Dad's 70th birthday. It was a 60 minute 'Silver' Gyrocopter flight from Rochester airport and he absolutely loved it :-) I came along to watch and had a great day myself, it is a fascinating aircraft and the instructor, Kai, was excellent. He was easy going, reassuring, professional, and happy to answer all questions - he really knows his stuff. He also has a good knowledge of the local area and points of interest when up in the air. The wind that day had grounded most light aircraft but the gyrocopter, due to its design, went up with no problems. My Dad got to fly the aircraft too for a while which was a thrill. There are good places at the airfield to view the take off and landing and we all got to check out the gyrocopter afterwards and pose for some photos. We would definitely recommend this exciting and unique flying experience :-)

“Spitfire Flight & Experience”

This was the experience of a lifetime - outstanding in every respect! The entire occasion was faultless. Before the flight, instructions and support from the ladies in the 'front office' were superb. The welcome briefings were concise and well delivered. The hangar tour and briefing was fascinating It was delivered with passion and filled with anecdotes by a young man who clearly knew his facts. The historical artefacts were perfectly presented and accessible. And then the Spitfire flight... my words cannot describe the complete sensory and emotional overload. I have reviewed the in-flight recording and there is not a time where I don't have the broadest smile on my face. The 75 years-old lady of the skies was spectacularly beautiful and graceful. My pilot was superb company, clearly passionate about his work and thoroughly professional. The experience was truly topped-off when my guests flew along-side the Spitfire in the Air Van only a few feet away – that is a don’t miss for sure! We were made to feel like VIPs throughout the five hours that we were there. It was truly an amazing and unforgettable experience for all of us. Congratulations and thank you to the Into The Blue team!

“ love Spitfires!”

An infectious enthusiasm added to an historical and modern love of Spitfires by our outstanding tour guide contributed to a day at RAF Biggin Hill Heritage Hanger my wife and I will never forget. Having an interest in World War 2 already, both sombre and romantic, seeing the Spitfires and learning about them and their pilot and engineering background stories in contex, simply sped us into the mess awaiting "scramble". Sitting in the cockpit almost drove me to tears thinking of those brave men not so long ago dealing with nazi bombers and 109s. Our guide in this hallowed environment gave us one of the best days of our lives.

“Great experience but needs updating”

I took the 60 minute F16 fighter sim session. I must say I was a little apprehensive when I arrived at the venue as it is on an old industrial site. However, I was made extremely welcome by the staff who explained everything regarding the experience I was about to participate in. The simulator's cockpit realism was excellent but the graphics need to be updated to high definition and 3D to give a fully immersive experience.

“Military Vehicle Experience - Bournemouth”

This looked a good experience for both my son and husband to celebrate a birthday; I paid twice so they could both have a driving experience. They got to drive the same two vehicles .... although not the opportunity to see the others mentioned in the description which was a little disappointing. I was under the impression that they would be able to look at the other vehicles and maybe choose which one they would like to drive - this is probably my mistake, and is not what happens. The two vehicles were the only ones there, the others evidently being stored some way away. The instructor was friendly and enthusiastic about the vehicles that were available that day. The directions were a little tricky to follow and possibly need checking as we felt they were not completely correct. We managed to find it though and enjoyed it once we had. The weather was not kind which is no-ones fault, but there was nowhere to wait or watch so I ended up observing from our car. Just a small note - there are no 'facilities' at all available so don't arrived desperate for the loo!! (there's one in the CoOp garage on the main road before you turn off for the venue) We might well visit again, but would check if we could have different vehicles available on the day, if we did. We felt the price was competitive with others available.

I ordered 8 variable vouchers as Christmas gifts on a Saturday evening and received them on Tuesday morning such prompt service. I also had cause to ring the customer service helpline for a query and the staff member who answered the telephone were unfailingly helpful, polite and friendly to probably the stupidest customer they have ever had. “Hidden charges and incomprehensible booking procedures... ”

A friend of mine bought me two driving experiences for my birthday. When I tried to book them I was told they only operated up north about 6 hours away from me. When I pointed out they had local locations listed they explained I could change my experiences to go with another supplier who could provide similar experiences closer to me. The friends who had booked this for me had no knowledge they were signing up for a particular location and were as confused as I was. What followed was an administrative nightmare. The procedure to change the experiences was supposed to be straight forward but in the end I had to seek help from customer services to get it done. Then the new e-vouchers they promised they would send didn't arrive. Then when they did arrive they didn't work on the new third party suppliers website. Finally when I had gone back and forth between the reseller (IntoTheBlue) and the supplier (CarChaseHeros) we got it sorted and I finally sat down to book before realising that I only had a limited time remaining to actually use the things and that they were only running one event before the end of the year. So fine, I re-arranged my life around their schedule and tried to book using their website but every time I added one voucher/experience it deleted the other from my cart. Another phone call. Oh yes and now they tell me I need to pay another £25 for a damage waiver or I might be liable for a £5000 excess if the car gets scratched. Seriously? Save your cash guys and take your mates/partners/parents out for a meal. You'll end up with a lot less grey hairs.
